[Your Answer Here]We did have it shipped to the same billing address, and no thank you , I was told on the phone that her name could never purchase through Fragrancex, and now we have 600 plus dollars tied up with the bank because of it all. Worst online shopping experience ever. I will be posting all recorded conversations in other complaints, so that nobody  else goes through this experience again. I had my wife go out of her way to email me a picture of her credit card and ID, and I was told it would suffice, and it didn't. All we wanted was my fathers day gift and her fathers birthday gift, not we dont have either nor the funds to get them because of the bank hold from all of the cancels.

 The order was cancelled within 5 minutes of placing it. The merchant asked me to confirm that the order is cancelled after a few hours and I replied confirming the same. Despite this the order was still shipped out. Please note that the order was cancelled within 5 minutes whereas the dispatch yoook place after many hours so the reply from the retailer makes no sense.The perfumes cannot be returned as they are classified as hazardous goods and no courier service in Hong Kong is accepting the shipment without a commercial license that allows HAZMAT shipping. We are in this situation due to the negligence of the retailer and all emails evidencing this are available and can be provided.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because although I was able to show overcharges, my request for an appropriate refund or credit was not honoured.  Another annoying example of FragranceX.com's tactics is to raise the price of an item left in one's cart and then offer a 'discount' equivalent to the price increase: Insense was '$60.00USD, but I received an e-mail yesterday offering a 10% 'discount', only to find that the item is now priced at $66.00USD.  So, I should be grateful for my 'discount'?  But of course, as FragranceX.com likes to remind its customers, "prices change every day."

response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved.  Customer Service claims in the second of two form e-mails that "prices change daily" and again, referred me to my bank to check on its currency conversion rates.  This dismissive and indifferent response is not only bad business, but it does not address the discrepancies I have outlined between the advertised prices in CDN$ and the prices charged to me in CDN$.  As I attempted to explain more than once, the bank's currency exchange rate does not account for the 15-16.5% difference in the overcharges between the advertised CDN prices and the CDN prices I was charged.  The fact that FragranceX.com charges in US dollars does not explain this difference because the CDN prices advertised already include an increase based on the US exchange rate.FragranceX.com's strategy seems to be to hide overcharges and deflect responsibility onto the banks.  They have refused to respond to the specifics of my complaint, which is itself offensive to long-standing and loyal customers.It is fraudulent to mislead international customers by advertising prices in a particular currency and then overcharging them without a proper explanation.  Attempting to dismiss or excuse those overcharges by blaming the bank or fluctuating exchange rates doesn't cut it.   Asserting that "prices change daily" is even more irresponsible.
