Review: Recently I received a notice decreasing our credit limit as a result of recent late payment activity. These late payments were caused by Citicards and we should not be penalized by Citicards errors.

First, this account has been paid by an automatic banking system for 10 years and I have never had a problem with the Citicards receiving payment on time until the last few months. Our payments are due the [redacted] of each month.

I learned on January **, 2015 that Citicards did not receive the January payment. At that time I called the bank and they assured me the check went out January *, 2015 and the bank had already withdrawn the in anticipation of the check being cashed. After calling Citicards and the bank several times that day, I chose to cancel the check as it appeared the check was missing. I was required to wait one business day for the bank to reimburse the funds into the checking account to pay Citicards. I informed Citicards that I was stopping payment of the check on Saturday, January **, 2015.

I called Citicards to pay the bill Tuesday, January **, 2015 and was informed that the check was deposited and that the account did not have a balance. I explained the check was cancelled and I was reassured that there was not an issue with the account. The customer service representative believed the check was probably deposited before I made a stop payment. On February *, 2015, I received a phone call from Citicards that the check did not clear and I paid the account in full at that time.

I received notice of decrease of credit dated February *, 2015. In speaking with the customer service representative, I was informed that there were three other late payments (paid on the [redacted] of a month for example, recently) and that was the reason for the decline in credit and there wasn’t anything the department could do about it.Desired Settlement: After my experience January, in addition to not having any issues in years prior, and only recently has there been issue with Citicards receiving payment on a timely fashion, I disagree with Citicards decision to decrease the revolving limit. I respectfully request that this be changed. Furthermore, if this has affected our credit negatively, this should also be corrected. Citicards has been responsible for the late payments and a customer should not be penalized in regards to the credit limit and score for Citicards error.

Review: Citi Card has contacted our house line 3 times. 1st time was yestesday 2/**/2015 in the morning around 7:30am. I [redacted], [redacted]'s wife and all I heard was a recording saying Citi Card and say on the line for the next operator. My husband [redacted] was present and I tol him that why would they tell me to wait when they called me and also we don't have a card with Citi Card. Then later that day around 11:30 am I got another call from Citi Card on my house phone, this time there was a person pn the other side asking to speak with my husband [redacted] and I asked who this was a s what it is in regards to and they man said his name was [redacted] and that is all he could tell me. I told him that he is unavailable and in order for me to even leave him the message that they called I need to know the company that is calling. The guy [redacted] said that he could not tell me because it is private. I said what you are calling about can be private but tell me your company and he could even tell me that. So I told him not to call back. I than got online and looked up reserve number online and it came up Citi Card and how many people are getting fraud calls. I than called back and told them that I know they are a scam and if they call me one more time I will report them and sue the for harassment. Than today 2/**/2015 they called again at 1:15pm asking to speak with [redacted] again and I said to stop calling we don't have accounts with you and that they are a scam. They man on the other line that I didn't get his name said they weren't and then I said you guys are going to be sorry that u kept calling. Review: I had an account with OneMain Financial since 2006. I was finally able to pay off this debt on February [redacted]. I contacted the office in [redacted] and asked for my payoff balance. I was given the amount and immediately paid the exact balance I was given. Within 2 weeks, I received another billing statement. I called the office several times, leaving a detailed message of my concern. I never received a call back. I then received yet another billing statement. I had to take a day off work (for which I do not get paid to do) just to make sure I could call while the office was open. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that the person I originally spoke to entered the wrong date. When I stated that was not my fault, I was told, rather condescending "we're only human". I asked why the amount due keeps going up and then was told because I'm not keeping up with my payments. I stated to them that again this was not my fault because I was given a payoff amount and have never received a return phone call in regards to my concern! I found my whole experience with OneMain Financial a horrible experience and will never recommend anyone choose them for their financial needs.

Review: I purchased some items costs $320.70 by using Citi card on website [redacted] on Sep. **. And it is been two weeks now and they have not sent shipment so I contacted the company and they said they would email me with providing tracking number when they ship but I waited for 4 more days and did not received any so I contact them again and they said they ship on the date of [redacted] but they could not provid the shipment tracking number and I said I wanted to cancel it and they ignore what I said and send my order to [redacted] right after I said I wanted to cancel. and I checked the status of my shipment on the [redacted] website with the tracking number they gave me, it said "shipment information received on Monday October **, which supposed to be Oct **. SO I called Citi card to help me out with cancel the Debit but the representative kept saying transation did not go through. Review: I have called on 2 occasions to ask for help to get my balance at [redacted] paid off. I have been a customer for 25 years and felt I should be given some type relief. I had major expense with the care of my 97 year old Mother. Her Homeowner's insurance had lapsed and a pipe burst in her bathroom and flooded the house. The situation was not immediately discovered because I had brought her to my house to care for. Damage to the house was about $50,000, with furniture damage included. In addition to this expense, I had to pay to place her in a Nursing Home Facitiy until her death at 99.(May, 2012).My Gift Shop business was forced to close because a cigarette store moved right beside my store. They sold [redacted] and true drug deals began to go on right in front of our eyes. After the store owners were handcuffed and arrested, my little lady customers were scared to shop.All of the banks I am working with to get my credit straightened out have been kind and understanding and given me low (1.75% and lower) interest rates to help me. Citibank has refused to charge me less than 17.24%. Over 1/2 my minimum payment each month goes toward interest. If I can't get help, I will die before I get this balance paid off. What if I stop Paying?

Reduce my interest rate or write off half this debt. I have not missed a payment but I feel as though I am treading water and getting no where. If my payment is $119.12, $65.82 is used to pay the interest. This is ridiculous. I could find NO address -physical - Just a po box. Who are these people??

Review: The service member informed me that I did not need to use my military discount and could still get the interest free financing. This was untrue and I called in June to ensure that I was getting the interest free financing. I was not. I then called the [redacted] store after the credit card company informed me to. The [redacted] told me that it would be taken care of. I checked my bill again and I have been charged $154.27 in finance charges.This has all occurred after I had been charged twice for the installation bc the service member in flooring rang up my charge incorrectly. This had taken three months to resolve. My credit card company has a lower interest rate than [redacted] and there is no way I would have ever chosen their card over mine except for the financing charge.

Review: [redacted] is sending my monthly statement too late in the month for me to receive the statement and mail the payment back before being charged with a late fee. Review: I had a [redacted] and a [redacted] Credit card. I settled my debts 2008-2011. I paid off one them in full with a whole lot of added charges and settled the other. I have satisfactory letters of settlement on both. Last February, I found out that there is a judgement on both at my county court, I called them a million times after talking to several representatives, I was able to get a supervisor who resolved the issue in August - 5 months. I just checked my credit report and the issue is still unresolved. I don't even know who to talk to. Review: Greetings! I would like to report Home Depot. In September 2012, I purchased an AC unit through ARS Heating and AC. The technician came, installed it, and offered financing through Home Depot Credit. It offered 2 years interest free. He told me that after 2 years, the rate would be 24%. Fast forward, my minimum balance used to be $50 but I normally pay anywhere from $70 to $80. I received my bill today and they added $4,500 in deferred interest without my knowledge or informing me in writing. The minimum payment went from $50 to a whopping $300. I called customer service and they said it is their policy. He apologized and said that's how Home Depot practices business. I worked in the financial industry for 15 years and this is unethical. I have several credit cards and none of them charged me for back interest. Is this legal? Please assist me. I do not want to mess up my good credit for this miscommunication.

The issue has not been resolved. I spoke to the executives there and explained my issue in grave detail. As a result of this $4,200 "added" interest, I was DENIED for a loan to pay my actual balance of $5,100. Home Depot/Citi is reporting $9,500 on my credit report. My limit is a whopping $9,300 so this amount even exceeds this. This huge misunderstanding has already caused me problems. My credit is good and I OFTEN get credit card pre-approvals. I did not get any warning. As mentioned, the A/C technician set up this account when he offered me financing. All I want is to be charged interest on my remaining balance. Nothig more, nothing less. Citi knows better because I have credit cards through them and they NEVER charged me double interest on deferred promos. This sounds unethical. My payment went from $50 to $300 minimum. That amount is impossible. I am in a struggling economy. I was affected by the government's decision to stop unemployment. I was laid off. This account is going to ruin me and my otherwise great credit. Please help.

Review: I had contracted [redacted] to install a roof in my house and got credit thru [redacted] but the real company issuing the credit was Citicard which I found out later on, the account ends in [redacted]. Anyway I got a promotional interest rate for 18 months at 0 interest and on 10/**/2014, I got charged interest for $1080.00 and my payment amount was raised to $169/mo from $69/month but the 18 month were not up yet. So I contacted Citi about and supposedly they fixed the issue and of course I did not talk to only one customer representative they kept transferring me to different people and every time had to explain the issue again and again . I was told the interest was going to be fix and the monthly payment was going to go down to$ 69. They refunded the interest but did not fix the monthly payment. I had to make several phone calls, stay on the phone for several hour and just to find out on my next payment period my account was late because, I did not pay the full 169 . I was told I did not had to pay the difference my payments are scheduled in advance so technically, I was not late so I had to call again several times spend hours on the phone again and I was assured that this issue was going to be fixed and taken care off and it did not happen and still showing me late and 2 month have gone by and the issue was not solved. In the same time this issue has been damaging and affecting my credit score my credit . Finally on December I called again very upset and talked to a gentleman who sworn and promised that this issue was going to be taken care off and I won't have to worry about it again and now that I am going to schedule my payment again I realized that instead fixing it they added again the interest, when I was told I was going to be good until May 2015 on my promotional rate. They are still showing the late fee, when I never was late and now they say they won't take the fees off because the promotional expired but I was told it was good until May 2015.

I am very sickened about and very upset and really don't have more energy to argue with them. This issue has made me sick caused unnecessary stress and head ache waite of my time and resources and to just find out still not fix and its already 4 months.

I do demand citicreditcard fix this issue fix my credit and keep the promotional until May 2015 like originally was told. I would appreciate any kind of help and consideration into resolving this issue with Citicard.

Review: I receive my paycheck on a prepaid citi card, I made a transfer to a bank account on 12/*/13, amount was never submitted to the bank, but gone from my card. followed up 3x with citi, today, 12/**/13 I spoke with 3 different managers who informed me that my money could not be returned until the **. I was told all 3x prior that I couldnt file a dispute until 12/**/13. I followed up, manager informed me that they had to file another dispute because they werent sure what happened to the first. As a company that is dedicated to providing world-class service, we strive to resolve all cardholder issues in a thorough and satisfactory manner.

After careful investigation and research, it was determined that [redacted] initiated an ACH transfer to his personal bank account on December *, 2013 in the amount of $55.00. After [redacted] contacted his bank and notified Citi Prepaid Services that his bank was unable to locate the transfer, a trace was initiated by Citi Prepaid Services. The trace information for the transaction indicates the receiving bank is The Bank Of Kentucky, INC. ([redacted]). Effective date of the transfer is December *, 2013 in the amount of $55.00 for receiver’s account ending with [redacted]. The Trace ID for the transaction is [redacted].

Our records indicate that [redacted] has since updated his transfer information to a different bank account for future transfers. Review: The problems started 10/**/15 when I made a payment on my Shell credit card online. The payment did not show up on line. I called customer service. The rep sent me to tech support who said they could not help. They sent me back to a rep who was the rudest person in customer service with who I have had an encounter. I then found a confirmation of the payment on my email (Conf #[redacted]). I attempted to use my credit card and was denied. I received a letter saying I had made a change to my account address for the card I have which I did not do. I have been so angry I put the issue aside until today. I went online and paid an additional small amount that was due (confirmation #[redacted]). I did not see the previous payment posted though the payment due balance was consistent with my paper statement records. I was shocked to see that the account had been closed, though the payment was taken. I tried to call customer service. When I put in my information (I also want to complaint that a full social security number was REQUIRED to get through) I heard that my last payment was in July of 2015. I received a new card after that date and it is the one I have now. My last statements have only included charges I incurred. I got tired of waiting and realized I would not get any help. The email to customer service was returned as undeliverable due to the box being full (I have confirmation of that) and I could not find a fax number. The statement I receive does not have any good contact information for customer service and for complaints. This is how Shell treats loyal customers - I have had a card since 1979.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my account corrected and to get a review. I want a new card this week - the same five cent discount card I have now. I want Shell to put useful contact information for customer service on their billing statements. I want an apology for blaming me for making a mess out of my account.

Review: Had a government travel card that had a balance after I was discharged from the Army, the account was sent to a collection agency and I settled with them and I was told once I paid the amount agreed upon it would be removed from my credit report. This was almost 90 days ago and Citi has yet to remove or update my credit report. I have called several times and receive a different answer every time I call. Now Citi is now telling me they will not remove the item they will only update it to state account was settled for less than amount owed. Review: My wife and I have been in the process of getting back on our feet since I was hired in March after a year out of solid work. In the process we have been making payment arrangements with all companies we deal with. We have had back to back problems with Citi taking unauthorized payments from our bank account. Last month my I made a payment arrangement online for $75.00 and was told that it would only come out once. When I looked at a billing statement I saw that it had come out twice. One time it said phone authorized payment which made no sense since everything was done online and we only authorized one payment. After an initial call I was told that the $75 would be refunded within a few days. In that time, my wife and I incurred a total of 3 $31 overdraft fees on our bank account which led to more frustrations. Money took about two weeks to be refunded after which we were ultimately negative still.

Last week my wife called to set up a payment arrangement saying that I would be getting an extra check next month so we could pay on 9/16 the amount of $300 towards our fees and balance. Yesterday 08/** at approximately 5:00pm my wife was checking our bank and saw a withdrawal in the amount of $300 from our account. With this withdrawal our account has been put negative by about $270.00. This will also lead us to get about 6 overdraft fees at $31 each. We have called and nobody has been of help to us. This marks the second time that an unauthorized payment was taken from our bank account and has in total caused us almost $200 in overdraft fees. Without the money in the account at this moment I cannot afford gas to get back and forth to work.

For years there have been issues with payment being a few seconds past due and having outrageous fees charged to us. Whenever we get ahead Citi always manages to charge our bank for something.Desired Settlement: First and foremost I would like the information for the debit card linked to our bank on the account removed completely. Ultimately I would like to see our account balance credited half of the balance (Total balance on card is around 2700), but I know that a company like Citi would not agree to something like this, even though the time and anxiety this has caused us in worth far more than this. If this isn't possible I would like to be refunded the $300 dollars and have our account credited the $300 in addition to the $200 we have had to pay in overdraft fees as a result.

Review: I have a [redacted] Credit card in which I used April 2014 to purchase m gift for my grandson's birthday. A few months later I moved to a new residence and sent [redacted] my new change of address as well as completing a change of address with my local post office. [redacted] continued to send my statements to the old address with my account number at the top of the page so I did not receive the bill until they turned it over for collection, I immediately contacted the collection agency and could not get any help from them, so I contacted an attorney [redacted] and he and myself got on a three way conference call with them letting them know that not only did they compromise my account but they had continued to pile on late charges to my account that stated out at $79.00 due. We spoke with [redacted] several times and they told myself and my attorney that they did not care if this was their fault that they intended to continue to pile on late charges, at first I made two payments of $25.00 and then stopped because they were piling on the late fees so fast that the bill is now $300.00 it was $265,00 so I sent a check in for $270.00 and called the collection agency and [redacted] to let them know I had sent it in, [redacted] told me they had the right to add another late fee of $30.00 to the account because they had ten days before they had to accept my payment, where does this end? I have filed disputes and had numerous phone calls to try and get this resolved with no help or satisfaction. All I get back is piles of paper showing where they have added and continue to add late fees. I have nothing more to give them and they have wrestled and extra $200 plus out of me that I don't feel I owed and keep telling my attorney and I that they don't care, I need you to know, what they have done to me so that the next victim won't fall into this trap! I have not received anything back from [redacted] other than sending me a post card telling me I was a valued customer and that they wanted me to re-open another credit card with them, THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AFTER WHAT THEY HAVE PUT ME THROUGH! I assume that they have closed the case or they would not be asking me to open up a credit card in which they told me they would not close out until all the payments they were demanding were taken care of and that they were adding another $30.00 late charge to my account so no one has contacted me to let me know this has been resolved, so until they do I still want to dispute them since they did continue to send my bill to an old address with my credit card number on it putting my account at risk even after the fact that I had sent them a change of address and changed it at our local post office. This is illegal and I will not stop until they make this right! This is a matter that needs to be handled so that someone else does not go through this, and charging me over $200.00 for late charges that was their mistake is just unthinkable, I will never ever step foot in their business again and I hope that they are never able to do this to anyone else! Review: I recently made three large payments to credit cards I have with Citi to decrease my debt and increase my credit score. Immediately after making the payments to these cards my credit limits were reduced those exact same amounts, upon calling customer service I was told that they occasionally review customer accounts and make adjustments. I don't have a problem with that other than they clearly reduced my limits based on my payments and no other calculation. Had they waited a fair amount of time they would have seen that large payments were made to my other creditors as well. When I called to find out what was going on I was put through a review to see if my credit limits could be restored since I had mentioned that I had made large payments to my other creditors, the first call taker said I met the requirements and that I would be transferred to the group that could facilitate the reversal. After talking to the next caller I was also told that I met the criteria but only the "Supervisor" could make the final decision. Unfortunately I received word two days later that my credit limits would not be reinstated!!

This is very poor customer service to tell me twice that I qualify and then deny the reversal that should have never happened in the first place. How are consumers going to increase credit scores if creditors such as Citi reduce credit limits as payments are made? The other issue I found today after reviewing my account online is that since they reduced my credit limit to exactly what I had paid my accounts are starting to show over the limit, this will be very negative on my credit report which is ridiculous especially after making a solid effort to pay down my debt.Desired Settlement: My desired settlement is to have my previous limits reinstated, if they cannot be reinstated I would like to see the calculations used to come up with these new limits and how they magically landed on the same number as my payments. I understand reviewing the accounts and if needed reducing the limits but this should be done on a regular basis and not a direct reflection of someone trying to pay off debt and increase credit worthiness. Since I received these accounts my salary has almost doubled and i'm stuck on how that was not taken into consideration?

I spoke with [redacted] on November *, 2013 to regret any inconvenience he may have experienced due to our decision to decrease his credit limits. I informed him that when we obtained a copy of his credit bureau report, it reflected accounts with balances at or near the credit limits. Based on this information, his credit limits were decreased. As a result of [redacted]'s inquiry on October **, 2013, we again reviewed his accounts, but were unable to increase the credit limits for the same reason. Review: Citi Credit card has cancelled my credit card of a balance 27500.00 that I had for about 10 years.

they closed it over a technicality that I opened too many authorized users, which is funny since they LET me open these cards THEY NEVER WARNED THAT THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE MY ACCOUNT TO BE SHUT DOWN.

they told me the reason is the [redacted] Patriot act and 9/11 as a reason (which doesnt work with me)

I wouldn't have opened the users if they was an issue, but they totally ignored that reason and have no answer as to why I wasn't warned.

they wont refund the annual fee even prorated and wont discuss this any further.Desired Settlement: I would like my account to be reinstated, I am willing to take away all the authorized users and not add any in the future

Citi Bank responded with a letter that deflected my complaint and refused to answer my complaint head on its nice to see that they like to treat a interest paying customer for ten year like a cash cw to used and spit when ever they want without prior notice to me I upset and I may post this letter to Reddit just to see the reaction of the people

I dont think its right for Citi to treat their customers like this without a decent reason bottom line if adding authorized users is a problem either they shouldnt have that option on their own website or we should be warned dont do it but without warning or notice for a simple reason like that is not acceptable for melike I said before I will post this letter on Reddit.com to see peoples reaction
