I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Other options to provide payment are beside the point.  My complaint is the lack of security and verifcation of the online and phone payment system when the company claims they have such an advanced technological edge.  As far as a superviser calling me back, I requested exactly that after  I was denied an audience on the 5th call, but finally got an associate that was nice and honest, and I stll haven't (3 weeks later) recieved a return call.  I also verified and made the second payment and asked for a return call and still haven't recieved a return call.  I had to call you to verify that my account had a zero balance.  I should add "VERY POOR" customer service to the list.  As far as I am concerned I am glad I do not have to do business with this company any longer on this matter. I advise them that if they see my name again, they should pass, because unless they have improved I will not do business with them again!

The consumer had two accounts assigned to CMRE both accounts were closed and returned to the service provider on 05/07/15, the balances remaining on the accounts were larger than the consumer has noted in this complaint. Any payments  received were sent to the service provider by [redacted]...

and not cashed by CMRE. The consumer was made aware of this in a telephone conversation on 08/10/16. CMRE  has not posted any payments to the consumer's account since May of 2015. The consumer should contact the service provider for any further questions he may have.

I ask that you re-open complaint #[redacted], for CMRE Financial has breached it's agreement with me in regards to settling the prior complaint that I filed against them back in January of this year. I called and spoke to a representative from their establishment last month and he has failed to provide me the necessary information proving that they requested the credit bureaus to remove such tradelines from my consumer reports as agreed to when settling such a dispute.Desired Outcome: To resolve in such a fashion that may mandate further legal assistance.

The consumer is stating that he has not received the validation that was sent to him. We sent the validation on 06/09/17 and it may still be in the process of being delivered. We have also reviewed the consumer's account and do not show any calls made to our office. If the consumer has any information pertaining to the claimed errors in the account assigned to us, we request that copies of that information be provided to us so that we may investigate further. If the consumer is needing any additional information we can be reached ay (800) 783-9118 Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm PST.

The consumer received services from the original service provider, She received notice's that the account was assigned to CMRE. The consumer has spoken to CMRE representative regarding this matter. She is aware of the basis for this account.

The consumer's account was assigned to CMRE in October of 2013, the first notice was mailed to the consumer in October on 2013 in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returned. A CMRE representative spoke to the consumer in October of 2013, the consumer was aware of the account and...

stated she would provide her insurance information. The consumer's insurance company notified CMRE that payment for the account was issued directly to the consumer. When the CMRE representative discussed it with the consumer, she confirmed she received the payment but paid other items with it leaving this account unpaid. The consumer stated she would make monthly payments. The consumer made one payment in March of 2015. The balance remains due and unpaid. The consumer is aware of the account.

The consumer’s account was assigned to CMRE on 04/29/13 for a date of service of 01/02/12. The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 05/02/13 in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returned.  The consumer acknowledges the debt was validated. The demographic information was provided by the...

consumer to the original service provider. CMRE is unable to contact the consumer as she has instructed us to cease contact.

The consumer's complaint is that he would like the account assigned to CMRE deleted from his credit profile. The consumer's account was assigned to CMRE in March 2016, the first notice was mailed to the consumer in March 2016 in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returned. On 04/11/16 the consumer...

received a second letter informing him that the account may be credit reported if unresolved. The consumer did not pay this account until June 2016 after the account was credit reported. As a courtesy to the consumer we have requested the account be removed from the consumer's credit profile.

The consumer’s account was assigned to CMRE on 10/31/13 for a date of service of 03/24/13. The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 11/05/13; we did not receive any mail returned. CMRE has not had any telephone conversations with the consumer.  We received a note from the consumer...

on 02/27/14 with a copy of a letter from Los Angeles Fire Department, they are not our client, the consumer is aware that they are not our client as she names our client in this complaint.  The consumer has not provided CMRE with proof that her debt owed to our client paid. CMRE requests the consumer provide proof that our client’s debt was paid this will allow us to investigate further. At the consumer’s request we have removed her telephone number from the account.

[There was an agreement only to my sons bill that was paid off there is another balance of something I am not responsible for so therefore I will not pay...my sons bill has been paid to which is what I agreed upon]

The consumer had 3 accounts assigned to CMRE. The
service provider has closed the accounts. The accounts were not
credit reported. CMRE is not in violation of FDCPA, FCRA or HIPAA.

CID [redacted] As part of our investigation, we contacted the original service provider, they were unableto confirm if the consumer’s complaint had any merit. CMRE has decided to close theaccount. A refund for the full amount paid is in the process of being mailed to the consumer

The validation was sent to the consumer and returned to us by the post office.The address provided by the consumer in his rebuttal was either incomplete orincorrect. We would be happy to re-mail both validation and cancelation letter shouldthe consumer provide us with a correct address.

The consumer's account was assigned to CMRE in Dec 2015. The first notice was mailed to the consumer in December 2015, in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returned. A second letter was mailed to the consumer in January 2016 notifying them that the account was deliqnuent and may be...

credit reported if not resolved, again no mail was  returned and we did not hear from the consumer. The account was credit reported in March of 2016. On 05/10/16 the consumer contacted us by telephone, she stated she had Medicaid at the time of service. The CMRE representative requested a copy of the consumer's Medicaid card to verify the information. Had the consumer responded to either of the letters credit reporting could have been avoided. CMRE has closed the account and requested deletion from both Experian and TransUnion, we do not report to Equifax.

The consumer received validation within the guidelines of FDCPA. CMRE has not recieved any payments from the consumer for the account. To whom did he mail the payment. We ask that he provide us with a front and back copy of the cancelled check to allow us to investigate his claim further.
