mail was returnedIt appears the consumer may have
confused CMRE with another company as she states she has

receiving collection notices since October however CMRE did not receive
the account until JanuaryCMRE received no telephone
communication from the consumerThe service provider requested we close
and return the account to them on 03/02/The account has been
closed and was not reported to any of the credit reporting

I was taken to the hospital by the Sheriff's Department in handcuffs and against my will after not being put a seat belt and being injured in the back seat of the Sheriff's vehicleDoctor gave incorrect treatment results just so the Sheriff's could clear me and book meI was sentenced to years in state prison and recently seen that I have a delinquent account in my credit history reportThe Sheriff's Department should be responsible for this balanceAlso how was supposed to correct this problem while in prisonNow they are charging interest

CMRE claims to have received a file from *** *** that I had an unpaid balance of $from 2014, which CMRE claims to have received for their case in December
They filed a negative claim against my credit report with Experian in March 2016, having provided me with ZERO opportunity to pay the balance, which I had ZERO knowledge of up until May 20,
CMRE sent me a letter on 05/18/It was received on 05/20/2016, and paid IMMEDIATELYThis was the FIRST time I ever became aware of this balance
CMRE claims that they sent a previous letter in March to a WRONG address, and that they were also unsuccessful to call
As a "professional" collection company, they should have practiced some due diligence to contact me CORRECTLY (with the correct address, which they obviously had since they sent me the letter on 05/18/16), instead they reported me to experian and hurt my credit report by over pointsThis has a lasting damaging effect on my credit and finances

On 04/16/I was in the Hospital and one of the Radiology expenses were billed incorrectly to my two insurancesI contacted the billing services on 8/11/once I realized they billed the insurance incorrectly They rebilled my insurances Somehow this account was sent to CMRE on 10/for collections and I never received noticed from CRME or the provider as I had moved BTW...this was for $of my $19,hospital bill
When I discovered this on my credit report I contacted CRME and the Radiology company and they contacted CRME to notify them as this account was paid by insurance I contacted CRME and they have only updated as paid refusing to remove from my credit report as a collection accountI have disputed this twice with the credit reporting agency and they have reported that CRME is stating this was their collection account
I have also contacted CRME on multiple occasions to remove this inaccuracy, however they refuse It is criminal that a collection company

CMRE Financial Services continues to send collection notices, although I have written them and their client to explain I have never been in any form of contact with their client nor received any services from them In response they sent me an itemized statement, with no evidence that I received these services They will not talk with me via phone unless I divulge social security information to resolve a fraudulent claim I am not going to do that I am not going to pay for something just because they have decided to send me letters I want this to stop, and will file with every supervisory source I can find until they stop harassing me

validation mailed to the consumer on 06/02/The consumer questions if CMRE is licensed in the state of California, CMRE is in fact licensed in the State of California The consumer is asking for a refund of monies he has paidThe consumer is aware that he has not paid any monies to CMRE towards the account, payment was received from his insurance company and contractual adjustment was appliedThe remaining balance due is shown to be the consumer’s co-payment/co-insurance amount as designated by his own insurance company

The demographic information provided at the time of service matches the consumer's information The consumer requested validation of the debt which was promptly provided within the guidelines of FDCPAIf the consumer feels she is a victim of identity theft, she should provide us with a copy of the police report filedThe accounts have been reported as disputed to both Experian and TransUnion

The consumer again has NEVER contacted CMRE directlyAs previously stated, the first notice was mailed to the consumer at the address shown on this complaint, no mail was returned. I recently discovered a collection (acct# ***) in the amount of on my Trans-Union and Experian credit reports for an account that I do not owe nor ever received a bill forWhen I called CMRE to find out what the collection was for they explained that it was for when I took my child to the ERI informed them that all out of pocket medical expenses are the sole responsibility of my ex-husband per our divorce decreeI was then informed by CMRE that it wasn't their problem and my best bet would be to pay the collection in full I have still yet to receive anything in the mail from either *** *** or CMRE

Inhad an outstanding bill for that my insurance did not coer from the radioly departmentbon It now seems that it was repirted to different companiesIts for the same amount and the same proceduee and the same dateI paid a company called asset maximization for that bill already so I know its not outstanding anymore..then I called cmfre to find out what the bill was about only to encounter a rude individual saying that it could have been different procesure from the same company for the same time , same place everythingI know that this is not correct and need help in making sure that im not double paying anything I also asked to speak to a supervisor which inwas told they cant get me one til hours or more
