We received a call from [redacted] in June of looking for a boatHe saw one he wanted in June of and we wrote up the Preliminary and Broker agreementsHe was very demanding on the terms and only wanted them his wayHe ended up backing out of that deal so we searched for other boats for him but he was being very pickyHe finally requested a refund after almost a year and a halfWe will be refunding his refund soon

Horrible experience with both Mike and Sheldon from Coast to Coast Diesel Marine. The biggest problem with this company is that they believe they know what they are doing, when in fact they do NOT and only experiment by replacing expensive parts and charging for labor at the expense of unknowing customers. A customer should trust that the company whose service they are paying for, can properly diagnose a problem, making the repair as quickly and affordable as possible. Sheldon and his crew were out to the yacht 5 times trying to diagnose a fuel system issue, continually replacing parts and charging for labor without EVER diagnosing the correct fuel system issue. I finally gave up and hired a reputable company who was able to properly diagnose the problem within 3 hours and less than $100 in parts. Both Mike and Sheldon have been extremely arrogant and rude when I let them know the problem was quickly fixed by another company and failed to admit they could not find the simple issues that my yacht was having. I would strongly suggest to find any other company to trust to perform any repairs on your expensive yacht. Coast to Coast Marine has been a horrendous and extremely expensive to work with and to have Sheldon tell you to F-off and hang up on you when confronted with facts, shows the poor character and judgement these people have when dealing with great paying customers. If you look online you will also see other reviews sharing my same frustration and view. They also have the RevDex.com looking into their practices and complaints with them. I will also be filing an action with the BBB and any other on-line portals which will save people from spending thousands of dollars in unnecessary parts and labor. STAY AWAY!

In response to Revdex.com CASE ID#***, We have refunded $2,of the $4,we received from *** and we will be refunding the remainder soonThe reason for the delay is that she signed a Broker agreement for an RV that states the money is non-refundable and can only be used toward the purchase of another itemWe have agreed to refund her money, it will just take a while

As far as we knew, the boat had no major defectsWhen we owned the boat for years we pressure washed it every fall when we put the boat away for the winter monthsWe then pressured washed it again in the spring with a psi pressure washer before we painted the bottom. We never found any blisters on the bottom of the boatAfter the boat was inspected buy the surveyor, The boat set out of the water for the hottest months of the year, until it was hauled to Chicago By unknown boat haulerWe have no ida where the boat is,or what condition the boat is in, Coast to Coast will not tell usSo we May have to report the boat as being stolen whit the help of the fraud statement from there Golden Guarantee.Coast to Coast should have had a look at the boat before it was put in the water after setting out off the water for of the hottest months of the yearAs I said before The boat was in the water every year from June To SeptAnd we never had no leaks, and our bilge was always dryThat paint was so dried out probably half of it came off when it was put back in the waterDid any body see the surveyor report besides the buyer or get a copy of it? I didn't get to see itI would not of taken this deal if it had no Golden GuaranteeI had plans take the whole year and take the boat all the way to the Mississippi River and head south

We have sent $1,to the buyer toward the $3,repairsWe will send $to the repair shop to start the job and when it is finished we will send the $1,I have explained this to both *** *** and *** ***

*** *** should be putting his complaint to the ** *** ***We sent his refund back to himHe has been strange from the beginningHe sent us a deposit then the next day demanded his deposit refunded to himWhen I told him we need something in writing like an email stating he wanted a refund he started yelling and cussing over the phoneHer should be getting the refund by today

We will be refunding her money this Friday

*** *** gave us a good faith deposit on an RV we had listed for saleHe stated he wanted to go to Florida to look at the RVWe explained to him that he could look at the RV but he couldn't pick up the RV until he had more money for us which he said he could give to us on the *** of the month
He traveled to Florida around the *** of September and said he was going to pick up the RV and we told him he would have to give us more money and he stated he didn't have it and that he was broke and needed his deposit backI told him he had to send us a written request to get his refund and that it could take up to days to get his refund like the paperwork for the good faith deposit statedHe started call us every day demanding his deposit back and I told him it had to go before a board who approves the refundsHe kept calling every day and I told him the same thing then he had his mother calling, keeping me on the phone for 10-minutes at a time with the same questions each time which I had to repeat all over again each timeThe refund should be going out this weekThe reason it is taking so long is that it was determined thathe didn't have the money to get the RV and that if we let him take it we might never see it again

First let me start by explaining that when they picked up the coach in Florida they were met by a representative of our company and they loved the coachHe showed them around the RV and also told them about the tiresHe also gave them a Good Sam extended warranty which covers everything from
bumper to bumperThe Upchurchs paid us $10,of the $15,they owed us after inspecting the coach, when our usual commission is 10% on a $200,plus coachWe have yet not received the other $5,and they have not made the monthly payments for the two months they have had the coachThen they tried to charge back $9,which we disputed and wonAll our units are used and sold "ASIS" that is why we offer the buyers a chance to inspect the unitIf the coach was in that bad a shape, why did they pay us our commission? They have also had the coach for three months and have failed to make one payment of $1,755.21.After the Upchurchs inspected the coach they signed the Purchase Partnership Agreement and our Agreement for the commission stating that the money was non-refundable but could be used toward another RV should this one not meet with their approval and we would have been glad to accommodate themNow they have possession of the coach and they are not making payments which doesn't hurt them but is destroying the credit of the seller. At this time the Upchurchs owe us $5,000.00, three payments to the seller totaling $5,and repossession fees if we have to pick the coach up

We sell many units that are sold from one state to another and most buyers talk with the sellers to find out what requirements they have to take care ofThere are only one or two states that charge a personal property tax and there are a few more that require an inspection which can be done in
another state and sent to that states DMVAs far as insurance goes the seller should have told the buyer that the insurance has to be from a NC insurance agent which *** * *** offerI spoke with both buyer and seller with a solution which *** *** has refused to consider*** *** has threatened to destroy the RV and come to our location and assault usBefore these issues even came up, *** *** tried to get his bank to get all his money back while still owing us $2,There is a way to get this situation resolved but the buyer is unwilling to take the steps nessessaryAt this point the buyer and seller should work together to get this resolved and we would be willing to help and we would also like the money that is due to us

The Stines sold a boat.with major defects on the bottom of the boat that caused it to leakThey fixed of them repaired but there are still blisters that the Stines covered up with multiple coats of bottom paint figuring the buyer wouldn't find them for a few yearsThe repairs will cost thousands of dollars and these defects should have been disclosed at the time of the sale but they were well hidden even from the surveyorThe Stines defaulted on the contract but the buyer is still willing to keep the boat and make the payments but they will be a little late

We have repossessed the RV and just got it back to our place yesterdayThe person we repossessed the RV from is responsible for the taxes not us and he is also responsible for the paymentWe had to pay $1,to the RV park and $for the repo feeWe are not responsible for payments until
we get the RV back.We have had new buyers interested in the RV but when we send out Preliminary contracts *** doesn't return them signedOnce we have another buyer we can get her the payment that she is owed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I contacted the seller and we have tried to get insurance in my state (Indiana) North Carolina will not accept any out of state insurance Both *** *** *** will not sell insurance for this "take over payments" situation *** *** insurance will not sell insurance without years of RV experience even though I have years of OTR semi truck experience *** *** wont cover the unit without it being in the state it is from and wont sell to the "take over payments" as well The only way to get the insurance is for the seller to just flat out lie to her insurance and not let them in on the situation Even if she were willing to just insure it in her name the RV would have to be driven back to North Carolina for a vehicle inspection which is miles away from me Coast to Coast Marine and Coach never let us in on any of these requirements If they were a legit RV sales company, I believe they should have known I contacted Bob at C2Coast and he told me it wasn't his problem and then hung up on me three separate times I contacted the seller and she also has been mistreated and hung up on After C2C got their money, they never contacted either of us except to debit my account for $ I used a credit card for the deposit and they just decided to run it for some extra money No warning, I just noticed my account was low Bottom line is C2C will be very nice and cooperative until they have the money and then wont help out with any issues I am out $at this point and the RV has expired plates They were supposed to be figuring out how to get this done and now it is too late The seller cant get plates without getting it to NC and there is no hope for me to get insurance C2C would not even offer to possibly apply my money to another RV and return or resell this one in NC My salesman was Tom and he stated I could trade in my coach at any point and they would simply make the payments I have not talked to him since I paid for the coach Dream Finders RV only charges a one time finders fee for about $ C2C charged me $

This is the actual quote from the email dates over weeks ago from *** *** "Please wait the weeks for the refund, and it will be fully refunded back to you"
We are entering the end of the 3rd week, still no refund and had I been told Upfront about the tag issues, I would never have given any deposit.

We will be refunding *** *** deposit soonWe have had his deposit fir months as he was out of the country but he was still looking to purchase an RV through our programDue to the demise of our General Manager some refinds are tajing a little longer to process

I have responded to the client yesterday, and told him another gentleman would be contacting himI also stated the refund "should", but it "can" take up to As well, the gentleman had every right and every chance to not make $2,Our Agents are trying to close deals as quickly as possible
while remaining within our guidelinesIf *** *** truly did not want to make the deposit of $2,000.00, *** *** could have stated he would only make $1,In regards to this complaint, I feel it is unwarranted due to the fact we are still within the guidelines of what we state, and what the customer themselves are told/emailed

We have refunded all the money that had been deposited with us for the purchase of an RV and we emailed the receipts of the refund to *** ***When doing a refund the money is taken from our account the same day it is processed and is usually returned to the account of the recipient by the next
day but it can take up to business daysIf it doesn't show up on their account it is probably being held up by their card companyAs far as our refund policy is as stated on the card authorization sheet as it can take up to days for a refund as many of our clients see an item they want after they send us the refund request and the deposit comes off the monies that are due to us

Through numerous calls to and from Buyer and Seller*** *** received the payment and another one will get to him soon
