Coast to Coast Marine and Coach Reviews (120)

Review: 2014 we started business (contracted our RV) with Coast to Coast. At that time our RV was in excellent working condition. It was serviced prior to being released to their approved buyer. It is now with a second buyer. Damages occurred and equipment was now missing since the previous buyer that were beyond fair wear and tear (supporting documentation is available) that Coast to Coast was supposed to repair. Asking that Coast to Coast pay (and reimburse) for all the necessary repairs. We are still owners of this unit and they told us it would be well maintained. (Roof repair, replace damaged/missing awning' missing television, power cord, hoses, lp & smoke alarms repair, holes drilled into the walls, cleaning the unit, captains chairs not serviceable, detailing as the unit was filthy, to name a few)Desired Settlement: Asking that Coast to Coast simply provide the services they promised. Repair the damages that occured since unit was turned over to their first approved buyer. Asking that complete payment be made to the RV shop where unit is currently stored/or reimbursed to current buyer or owner and all NECESSARY repairs be completed ASAP so current approved buyer is no longer inconvenienced. It has been an ongoing battle since May 2015.

Response:

We have sent $1,000.00 to the buyer toward the $3,000.00 repairs. We will send $500.00 to the repair shop to start the job and when it is finished we will send the $1,500.00. I have explained this to both [redacted] and [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

While this is progress, and I do appreciate it, I can not accept this response because it only addresses one of the repairs listed, and not the rest. I have enclosed an attachment, from the repair shop the unit is currently in, which lists some of the necessary repairs. Not included in the attached quote but mentioned in the filed complaint is a missing TV and the repair of the captains chairs as well as reimbursements for services already rendered. What I submitted in the complaint was an estimated cost, as we all know, final cost may vary, wont know until all the work is completed. Looking forward to Coast 2 Coast following through with completing ALL the required repairs in a reasonable timeframe and not dragging it out for another 6-12 months. Sincerely, [redacted]

Response:

The repairs needed for the RV are being taken care of by our company and I feel there is no need to be tag teamed by both husband and wife for the same thing. The parts needed have been ordered and when the job is completed we will pay the balance.

Review: We had entered an agreement to purchase an RV. I had asked in advance that if things did not work out my deposit which was $4000 will be refunded. Things did not work out as planned I called them on a Monday and asked if my deposit to be refunded ASAP on Friday I found out that it would be refunded $1000 at a time over the course of a week making the total refund time two weeks. I had stressed the fact that it was imperative that I get my deposit back. I had also talk to someone on Tuesday of that same week showing me that my refund would be deposited into my bank account in full by the end of the weekDesired Settlement: I would like my deposit to be refunded to my credit card one lump sum in one day

Business

Response:

We have refunded all the money that had been deposited with us for the purchase of an RV and we emailed the receipts of the refund to [redacted]. When doing a refund the money is taken from our account the same day it is processed and is usually returned to the account of the recipient by the next day but it can take up to 5 business days. If it doesn't show up on their account it is probably being held up by their card company. As far as our refund policy is as stated on the card authorization sheet as it can take up to 30 days for a refund as many of our clients see an item they want after they send us the refund request and the deposit comes off the monies that are due to us.

Review: On October **, 2014, upon request I gave Coast to Coast Marine and Coach a "good faith deposit" of $1,000.00 to begin the application process and search for a boat under their taken over payment program. Through constantly having to contact them regarding the status on finding a boat within my living area and price range, I just recently decided not to use their services any longer and requested that my application deposit be refunded. I experienced a lack of interest from them in regards to finding me a boat. One vessel was offered, for what appeared to be their rep. forcing a buy down my throat. But the boat was too far away from my location and the cost was out of my price range. The rep. (Troy B[redacted]) in haste just urged me to send them more money for what I felt was just to merely broker a deal, get more money from me and have no concern whatsoever if the boat was far away and I faced shipping costs and a high selling price . Without going any further into detail, I am totally disappointed with their rep. Troy B[redacted]. He has responded negatively in emails that I have kept record of. He has threatened that my application deposit will not be returned. I have keep a copy of all emails that has been sent to Troy B[redacted] to date.Desired Settlement: Refund

Business

Response:

We received a call from [redacted] in June of 2014 looking for a boat. He saw one he wanted in June of 2015 and we wrote up the Preliminary and Broker agreements. He was very demanding on the terms and only wanted them his way. He ended up backing out of that deal so we searched for other boats for him but he was being very picky. He finally requested a refund after almost a year and a half. We will be refunding his refund soon.

Review: We need your help.

In April before we found this apartment we thought we wouldn't be able to find a place to live that would work for my husband's disabilities. (He is a disabled combat Veteran with numerous physical and mental health issues as a result of his service.)

We were going to buy an RV to live in for the summer. We were going to travel all over the PNW for the summer and save money. My husband gets to stay at state parks for free which is a huge huge blessing.

We worked with an RV broker Coast to Coast Marine and Coach aka C2C.

We sold our second vehicle quickly and at a loss in order to buy an RV. Their sales person kept saying the sellers were in a hurry to sell and that the RV we want may be gone soon.

Long story short we gave them $4k down. We also booked $1200 in airline tickets to go and get the RV we were going to buy.

Two of their sellers backed out (the second one was released by them for failure to cooperate) and at that point we decided the process too unstable to proceed so

[redacted]WE ASKED FOR OUR MONEY BACK ON MAY [redacted] 2015[redacted].

Our plane tickets were not reimbursed by travel insurance. C2C said they would reimburse us.

C2C said they would give us our money back on June [redacted]. It is now June [redacted] and that money hasn't been returned and they won't communicate with us.

Initially we thought we might end up homeless because of this and when we expressed that to them we were told to "Go to the VA".

After I told them I would be seeking legal recourse they told my husband over the phone to " [redacted] Off".

I have taken what is essentially a third job to fix what is now wrong as a result of this but we should still be given our money back.

We haven't purchased an RV and aren't going to. They are essentially stealing from us and this is wrong. We were told our down payment was refundable and I have an e-mail from them stating that the money would be returned on June [redacted].Desired Settlement: At a minimum I would like my $4,000.00 down payment returned. However it would help my family immensely to also have the $1200.00 in airline tickets reimbursed. We have three children that live with us most of the time and two more that don't live with us. We have numerous medical expenses due to my husband's service. We need our money back.

Response:

As stated in our paperwork, all buyers that sign the broker agreement acknowledge it may take up to 30 days to get the refund processed and refunded to them, if at all. As well, we are just brokers for the sellers of the boats and RVs. The sellers have the right to accept or decline any deal or offer in regards to their unit. If any of the terms are not acceptable, they have the right to decline. All we can do is present an offer, and the buyers were explained that. We always urge our buyers to pick out 2-3 units for back-ups in case the one they originally try and get doesn't work out, for whatever reason. Also if a buyer signed a broker agreement then in some cases the deposit can only be used as a credit. No cash values

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Attached is the e-mail text stating that my refund would be released on June [redacted] 2015. It is now June [redacted] and that still has not happened. None of the paperwork I have states that the broker has 30 days to return our money. According the sales person the seller of the second RV was released by Coast to Coast for failure to cooperate but the actions of seller are irrelevant at this point. I was guaranteed in both verbally and in writing a refund of $4,000.00 by June [redacted] 2015 and that has not happened and as a result of this entire experience my family has experienced serious financial hardship. Additionally, throughout this entire process the sales person has been aware of our situation that we were on a timeline to get an RV lest we be HOMELESS. Since that RV seller would not cooperate, we had to cancel $1200.00 airline tickets and we had NO CHOICE but to pull out of this entire RV situation as we were at risk of being homeless with our children. Throughout this entire situation we have been told by the sales person that the money we were sending to them was REFUNDABLE.]

Response:

In response to Revdex.com CASE ID#[redacted], We have refunded $2,000.00 of the $4,000.00 we received from [redacted] and we will be refunding the remainder soon. The reason for the delay is that she signed a Broker agreement for an RV that states the money is non-refundable and can only be used toward the purchase of another item. We have agreed to refund her money, it will just take a while.

This company is a scam. They rent out your RV to people who have bad credit and after they don't pay there payments they continue to rent out your vehicle again and collect there fee each time. Meanwhile you are responsible to continue to pay the bank as they profit.

Review: I was promised a refund on my purchase if the deal did not go through, in which it did not,I was told by salesman george M[redacted] that there would be no problem in my refund,so I sent a email per george requesting my refund back, after 30 days I called salesman george M[redacted], he referred me to Mike at coast to coast,Mike told me to talk to Bob at coast to coast, in which I did ,Bob took my credit card info and promised that it would be back on my card the next day, so the next day it was not there I called bob and he told me the guy that does the refund was out for a deep root cleaning of his teeth, and would be back the next day, so I called bob the next day and he told me that he turned it in for a refund and that all he can do ,now its a week later and I still have not receive my $1000 deposit back ,the phone number I been calling is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to get my refund back asap.

Sincerely,

Dealing with coast to coast has been nothing but a headache. The first check they sent me for the reserve funds got lost, although they quickly replaced it they sent me a ripped check so it could not be deposited into my account. It took nearly a week to get in contact with anyone to replace the check. Once it was finally replaced, I opened a brand new bank account with the check. The check bounced causing my account to incurr fees and go negative. This put a hold on my pay check, which was set up to be directly deposited into my account. To make matters worse my boat was picked up a month ago and I have not received a penny from the buyer, who supposedly made a payment in full to coast to coast, and coast to coast has been no help in resolving the issue.

Excellent service, communication and professionalism. Would definitely use again and refer them to my peers.

Review: I have a third party contract with CTOC, for the re-selling of a fifth wheel recreational vehicle. The contract began in November 2013 and "should" end December 2016. The contract states a check for the loan payment amount will be mailed to me by the [redacted] of every month in order to receive it in a proper time frame to deposit it into the account for the payment. Since the beginning of this contract I have had to fight for every payment of any kind - including normal payment, renewal of the MVD tag. Since the beginning of this contract I have not received a payment on time and sometimes the incorrect amount. Majority of the time the check is not sent to me until a day or so before the payment is due; if not actually after the payment's date. I call the company about the checks and all I get is the check is in the mail, yet I have never received ONE check by normal mail from the company. CTOC often tells reminds me that I have a "grace period" to make the payment and that even though they send the check after the due date that I will still have time to make the payment on time. I told Bob that that grace period is my grace period to put the check in on time and not theirs I end up calling the day after it is due and demand the check to be over nighted to me. They complain consistently about the cost of overnighting the envelope and my response is that you should have sent on the [redacted] of the month like the contract is stated. I have asked for proof of the "checks that were previously sent" and I have never seen any proof of all of these checks. I call CTOC every month for about 2 weeks and mainly talk to a very mean and blunt man named "Bob" about my check and his refusal of overnighting anything. Bob at one point in a conversation stated to me that he was the company's attorney?!.Desired Settlement: The resolution here is to simply to send the payment by the [redacted] of every month with proof of the check being sent in the mail. I would like to have electronically placed in my account on the [redacted] of every month. I believe that CTOC is not mailing the checks to me at all, until I complain enough about not receiving the check, I eventually receive a check in the mail.I want them to honor the contract and make the payments. I will not extended my contract passed December 2017 with this company.

I spoke with [redacted] last week and we sent a check to her with the money she was short on her last check. We will work more dilligently to get her payment to her on time. She claims that regular doesn't always deliber so she always wants it sent [redacted] which is expensive. We will strive to send the payment to her sooner so she wull get the payments on ti,e.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]This issue has not and is not resolved, This is a re-occurring problem since January of 2012. I have every envelope with the postal date and a copy of the dated check, and only one or two of them are on or before or sent by the [redacted] of the month like the contract states. I call the company every month for my check because they fail to send it to me on time. CTOC is playing with my credit and my "grace period", I have worked hard and diligently to get the score that I have and this company has no regard for my well being at all. If they are sending out checks I want a copy of every check that I have been mail through the [redacted] that I have received and cashed and the ones that they state they have sent out and this can be done through email. And as far as the last check they have sent to me I have not received it. They mailed the check was sent on September the [redacted], and as of today, September the [redacted], I have not received the payment through the regular mail. if I do not make the payment by Monday, the [redacted] it will be considered late and they will owe me another late fee. I do not care how the check is sent to me but according to the company they send it out every month through the regular mail and yet I don't receive them through the normal mail. I do not profit from the check being sent [redacted] but they force the issue by not mailing it to me on the [redacted]. CTOC has never taken this contract serious and I have a paper trail that this contract has been a train wreck since the beginning. I will NOT leave this this alone until I received every penny of the contract signed by them and the buyer and again I WILL NOT EXTEND THIS CONTRACT UNTIL 2017!!!!!!!!!!

Because I have not received the check for an on time payment, they need to Again send it needs over nighted so I can make my payment by Friday evening!!!!!!!

[Your Answer Here]

I am simply rejecting this because they are simple words and I have been hearing those very words since the beginning of the contract. If I get the next 2 or 3 on time then I will close this case. With the help of another CTOC Associate (karen) I do believe that my checks will come on time. I am not sure that I trust Bob because his phone voice and attitude lack a lot mannerism. I also do not like being threatened by Bob with the condition that he will send out my checks if I stop writing to the Revdex.com about this issue. He stated that he cannot do both - respond to the complaints and write a check. First of all Bob doesn't write the checks, he may simply let someone else to know that the check needs to be written. After talking to Karen yesterday, I know that they haven't been sending out the checks, because for the first time ever Karen at CTOC said that they have received the check back from the incorrect address. I have asked for proof before of written checks only to be ignored. Every time I have changed my address I have changed it with this company yet no one has it one file or changes with the accounting department that sends out these checks. The check I just received has one of my old addresses from a year and a half ago - why? I am not sure but I think it is laziness on their part. This company needs to get their stuff together if they want to avoid future issues like mine.I would love to resolve this but I have no trust in this company. I have a feeling that after I close this issue that it will go back to the same old thing - no checks unless I call and complain. I would like to do other things in my life besides fight CTOC for my monthly check to be sent to me on time. Bob's words are just words and not actions, maybe with the help of Karen it will get resolved.? I want this company to realize that I am simply doing what they would do with the buyer, expected the monthly check on time according to the contract that was signed. CTOC would be calling the buyer asking about their money

Sincerely,

Coast to Coast facillitated a purchase of our coach last October and I could not be more pleased with service they offered us. Perhaps as important six months after the sale, they followed up with us just to be sure we were pleased and how are things going.

Review: Placed a $1000.00 good faith deposit with Coast to Coast Marine and Coach to purchase a specific Motorhome they had advertised. I was told the specific coach was no longer available. I requested the return of my good faith deposit. I received an email on March **, 2015 from [redacted], [redacted], my deposit would be returned by end of the following week. To date I have not received my deposit nor answers to my following emails from the [redacted]!Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit returned immediately.

Business

Response:

We received a refund request from [redacted] because the RV [redacted] was interested in was no longer available. I explained to him that we could search for that same type of RV for him unless we send the refund and in that case his only choice would be what we have in stock so he agreed to let us search for an RV for him which we have had a few. We will refund his deposit since he no longer wants an RV from our company. We will have it processed no later than Tuesday of next week.

Review: I have tried to contact and get updates from Coast to Coast in regards to my RV contract and it takes numerous attempts to get answers that are hardly followed up on. The complete lack of communication from Coast to Coast in regards to ongoing matters goes against the service I was told I would get, not to mention a “Golden Guarantee Certificate” where Coast to Coast would “enforce” the terms of the Purchase Agreement.

1) I am due $1650 up front in reserve payments and only received $650 directly from the buyer. The other two were to be sent from Coast to Coast. I have yet to receive reserve payments as promised per the agreement and communication.

-March **, 2015- Email saying “The Buying partner is giving you 3 payments upfront. They have 1 with them, and we have 2 of them. We will be mailing you a check for the remaining 2. Would you like that sent to your home address?”

-March **, 2015- Email saying, “…We will get that out today or tomorrow and will send a confirmation when it leaves our office.”

2) I have yet to receive any monthly payments as per the Agreement and I am now due $965.44 for the May and June payments.

I should not have to chase them down to get answers or money that is owed to me and frankly I would like Coast to Coast to honor the terms of the agreementDesired Settlement: I would like to have proactive communication regarding my agreement and I would like for them to honor their "Golden Guarantee" and enforce the purchase agreement.

We have contacted [redacted] in regards to this issue. He has not called, only emailed. We do have emails, but were unaware of the situation on the tags. We have stepped into the middle of this, sent the tags over to the buyer, and he will fill those out in the next couple days. Once we have this finalized, then the buyer will release all the funds owed to [redacted]. As well, the vehicle should have been registered before it was sold, and was not

Review: I enlisted their service to get a boat they had on their website. They kept insisting I send them a 500 dollar good faith deposit which they kept stressing that it was a GOOD FAITH DEPOSIT before we could talk to the owner of the boat. Anyway that boat fell through and let they look for a couple months with no luck in finding me the boat I wanted. On 7/**/2015 I informed them with an email that I wanted my deposit back since they have not found me a boat and got a response back confirming that they got the email and sorry that they could not help me. It is now 8/**/2015 and I still have not received my deposit back after countless calls and getting the run around with everyone passing the buck saying this person is who you need to talk to and they are not here today they you get that person the next day and they say well I need the file from the person you talked to prior and they are not here today. They took my credit card info again on 8/**/2015 and said that it would be done on Friday 8/**/2015 and their sorry it can take up to a month to return it and their general manager died so its been hectic and kept saying that over and over although I not sure I can believe them. Today 8/**/2015 I tried calling again and transferred to a voice mail like many times. I just want my deposit back before have to seek legal council and get interest and fees on my money. I have all the phone records for the number of calls I have made to them and all the emails I have sent.Desired Settlement: I want my Deposit back and I would love all the time back that I spent being lied to and run around in circles trying to get my refund back.
