We would like to make you aware of a company named “Coast to Coast Marine and Coach”. 41 Cutter Place West Babylon, NY 11704-8301 Buyers: (855) 832-5842 Sellers: (844) 575-2862. They are running a vehicle theft scam in your state. We have had the misfortune of doing business with them. We tried to sell our 2004 Damon Intruder RV on craigslist when Coast to Coast Marine and Coach contacted us and said that they had a buyer for our camper. After doing some research on their company that was all good we contracted with them to sell the RV. They have a very appealing Gold Guarantee that says:

Let it be known by its execution that Coast to Coast Marine & Coach will at its own expense, enforce the terms of this purchase Partnership Agreement. As part of this Guarantee, Coast to Coast Marine & Coach will in the event of a buyer DEFAULT: pick up the unit at our expense, store and maintain the unit, re market the unit to a new buyer, repair anything not covered by Ins. or extended warranty less normal wear and tear and continue to make monthly payments after the reserve funds are exhausted for the remainder of the contract term. At the end of the contract, it also states the same thing except that added is: If the Buying Partner fails to make any monthly payment to the Selling Partner, then Selling Party will notify the Broker, who as the agent of the Selling Partner will give the Buying Partner seven (7) business days to clear up payment issue or Broker will take Possession of the RV. Broker will continue to make the monthly payments until we find a new Buyer.

The buyer “Aaron Curtis” purchased the RV from Coast to Coast Marine and Coach. At first the buyer was fairly good with the payments. However, when he became delinquent we contacted Coast to Coast Marine and Coach and they said they would contact the buyer and give him 7 days to catch up on the payments. He didn’t catch up and Coast to Coast did not comply with their own contract. No Mr. Curtis (buyer) is approximately 10 months behind in payments and Coast to Coast has still done nothing. We have made the payments to prevent our credit rating to be ruined. Coast to Coast employee and perhaps the owner of C2C Bob Boyer was very nice to work with when there was money in it for them, but now they are very rude and they refuse to contact us concerning the RV and when we call them we are hung up on. The buyer canceled the Ins. In Feb, 2018, we were not informed nor the Broker agent of this. Once we found out we immediately purchased full coverage insurance on it. Now if the buyer has an accident or any mishap, we will be held accountable, but what else could we do. Ends up the insurance we purchased is useless because the RV was not in our custody when we purchased it. The buyer has also neglected to pay for the registration, so we have paid that as well. We have had nothing but excuses from Mr. Bob Boyer or Coast to Coast Marine and Coach regarding all of this from Nov. 2016 to current date 2018.
Mr. Boyer’s excuses are: I’m working on it, I’ll handle it, the buyer has stated that the vehicle has been stolen, I sent emails every day, I left voice messages on buyer’s phone. I use to send Mr. Boyer emails regarding everything, but he never responded. I asked him when I was on a phone call to him if he got them, he said “yes”. We still have all of the emails, my notes when I spoke with him on the phone but not all those notes from earlier on because I took Mr. Boyer at his word and we trusted him. When I realized I couldn’t trust him or his word, I started writing down our conversations on the phone calls. I would have rather emailed him, I like paper trails, but since he didn’t respond to those any better than promising to call me. I always had to pretty much beg him to let us know what was going on. That didn’t work either.
If you look online for this companies reviews you will find that we are not alone in this. There are many, many people having the same issues or worse. There are numerous BBB reports and Rip Off Reports on the web. I will enclose a few of them for your review.
I hope this will help in making you aware of this company. We look forward to what you will do to rectify this problem. Please, any questions we’ll be very glad to assist you. We only went with this company because of their Golden Guarantee. We put our trust and faith in them and they let us down big time. This is all very scary, and I have lost many hours of sleep and my nerves are shot. We have never faced anything like this before. We have contacted our police station, lawyers and anyone that we thought could or would assist us. We have found that we have no help available in this. We hope you can help us. We thought that this would help give you a better idea of what is going on and for how long. Thank You for your assistance with this.

The RV has been listed as stolen according to Bob Boyer. So we had the Las Vegas Police make out a stolen report. Las Vegas was the last know location of the RV. The people that purchased the RV from Coast To Coast Marine and Coach cancelled their insurance just before the RV was "Stolen". We are responsible for the payments to the bank now. We have no RV or any way of finding it.

Coast to Coast WILL NOT honor their warranty if the buyer defaults...see "Screwed over by Coast to Coast Marine and Coach" on FaceBook for real horror stories from 8 RV owners and counting!

I am simply rejecting this because they are simple words and I have been hearing those very words since the beginning of the contract. If I get the next 2 or 3 on time then I will close this case. With the help of another CTOC Associate (karen) I do believe that my checks will come on time. I am not sure that I trust Bob because his phone voice and attitude lack a lot mannerism. I also do not like being threatened by Bob with the condition that he will send out my checks if I stop writing to the Revdex.com about this issue. He stated that he cannot do both - respond to the complaints and write a check. First of all Bob doesn't write the checks, he may simply let someone else to know that the check needs to be written. After talking to Karen yesterday, I know that they haven't been sending out the checks, because for the first time ever Karen at CTOC said that they have received the check back from the incorrect address. I have asked for proof before of written checks only to be ignored. Every time I have changed my address I have changed it with this company yet no one has it one file or changes with the accounting department that sends out these  checks. The check I just received has one of my old addresses from a year and a half ago - why? I am not sure but I think it is laziness on their part. This company needs to get their stuff together if they want to avoid future issues like mine.I would love to resolve this but I have no trust in this company. I have a feeling that after I close this issue that it will go back to the same old thing - no checks unless I call and complain. I would like to do other things in my life besides fight CTOC for my monthly check to be sent to me on time. Bob's words are just words and not actions, maybe with the help of Karen it will get resolved.? I want this company to realize that I am simply doing what they would do with the buyer, expected the monthly check on time according to the contract that was signed. CTOC would be calling the buyer asking about their money

We are going to refund his deposit today and we will send him a receipt.

We will be sending his refund soon. We found out that [redacted] had purchased an RV before and never made a payment on it so we will not be getting him into another RV but we will give him his $1,000.00 back.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have not been refunded the additional $1,000 owed me and...

furthermore I have notified Coast to Coast I have since changed accounts to further limit any possible monies being removed from my account by them, per my attorney's instruction. I have not recieved any kind of documentation showing this supposed refund. I have called and emailed numerous times with no response. Phone calls are immediately transfered to a full voice mail system. This seems to be a delaying tactic by this company as several other complaints show the same response by coast to coast.

[redacted] contacted us about the end of December to get an RV. He gave us a $1,000.00 deposit and the application. The next day he called for a refund and he was told that we needed his refund request in writing at which time he became very abusive and was cussing us out. I don't understand why he...

would send us a deposit and an application then the very nexr day demand his deposit back. Then he was calling us once or twice a day demanding we send his refund immediately, cussing all the time.  We are going to send him his refund  within a couple of days.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Attached is the e-mail text stating that my refund would be released on June [redacted] 2015.  It is now June [redacted] and that still has not happened. None of the paperwork I have states that the broker has 30 days to return our money. According the sales person the seller of the second RV was released by Coast to Coast for failure to cooperate but the actions of seller are irrelevant at this point. I was guaranteed in both verbally and in writing a refund of $4,000.00 by June [redacted] 2015 and that has not happened and as a result of this entire experience my family has experienced serious financial hardship. Additionally, throughout this entire process the sales person has been aware of our situation that we were on a timeline to get an RV lest we be HOMELESS. Since that RV seller would not cooperate, we had to cancel $1200.00 airline tickets and we had NO CHOICE but to pull out of this entire RV situation as we were at risk of being homeless with our children. Throughout this entire situation we have been told by the sales person that the money we were sending to them was REFUNDABLE.]

The monies have been redounded to him.

We have sent the payment with the shortage to [redacted] and I will take it upon myself to make sure her payments are made on time

We had spoken to [redacted] prior to the [redacted] of July. As well, it takes 30 days for the refund. In regards to [redacted] case, it is much like a prior deal, where they think they can bully and threaten us in regards to the refund. We apologize to them that they do not get the money back right...

away. If [redacted] wished to have his money back sooner, he should have filed sooner. However, unfortunate circumstances happen and he was no longer able to continue onward with the deal. We DO NOT wish to keep his money. But there are others in front of him, and the longer the previous clients take, as well as further complaints and threats of legal action WITHIN the 30 days, it can prolong the deal

We have received the complaint and respond as follows. As for the unit, we had received conformation from the seller to bring them offers on their unit under our program. We can provide the proof showing their phone number and their response giving us authorization. Secondly, as our Broker Agreement...

states, if the buyer signs it, they are not allowed to be issued a refund, only credit towards another Boat or RV. Being as we have decided to give a refund, we had issued him $1,500.00 of the $5,500.00 he put down. Unfortunately, he had called and made the complaint after we issued it, but did not receive the confirmation of it until after the complaint was made

Money was refunded. Sent Check. Sorry for delay .         [redacted]         Coast To Coast Marine
