After three months, I finally did receive the check this week. Whether it clears remains to be seen. I should have filed this complaint months ago when I did not receive my refund after they had the dehumidifier for six weeks (I was told that my refund check takes six weeks after they receive the unit). I was told the check was mailed out on September 2nd. If this is the case, why was it dated September 17th? This is a shady business and other consumers need to know. The only reason I received the check dated September 17th was that I called numerous times and spoke to management. I also advised I would contact the Revdex.com and file a criminal complaint. Very poor customer service. This has been going on since June and it is almost October

The response *** entered is not accurateWe scheduled a 2nd service repair for October 16thMy husband took the day off of work for this appointmentGE cancelled this appointment and did not ever notify us of thisWhen we spoke to *** later that day, she informed us that it was cancelled and that she would find out why and call us backWe did not hear from her again until the following Tuesday, October 21stI then scheduled a 3rd appointment for October 24th and had to take yet another day off of work to accomodate thisWe never did get an explanation as to why the 2nd appointment was cancelled

We have offered to prorate this consumer into a new microwave

my issue is that if you have a manufacture warrant on a product and the cost of the new product is more than the old you have to refund customer full amount for new model
I had to argue to get a check b/c I do not want to buy another GE product due to bad service
I was orginally told to get my check I had to buy a new more expensive model and submit a request to get my money back
you need to stand by your product and warrenty the item

I offered a different company *** *** ***)to come out for repair, but their appointments are
only Mon, Tues, Wed, and Friday in her area. There is no Saturday service available. I have scheduled her for the secondary appointment she had requested, October 31st from 8-
I've also mailed out parts prior to the service call in hopes that this can be repaired in one visit.

GE Appliances agreed to bring me a new dryer but I'm still waiting to receive itI will accept when the new dryer is installed and the faulty one is removed

I have spoken with Mr*** and apologized for the trouble he's had with his GE Cooktop.
Although cosmetic issues are not covered under the warranty period, I have agreed to send him the part at no charge and
have asked him to pay labor charges and trip charge. Additionally, we've offered to give him a25% discount off the labor price. He is asking for an estimate of this repair.
I told him that although we don't quote repairs via phone, I would see if there was any way we could provide a ball park figure so he can make he decision to move forward with the repair or not
I have also asked Mr*** to not use any harsh chemicals on the cooking surface and to follow the cooking surface cleaning instructions which can be found in the use and care booklet
I will contact him as soon as I hear back from the service manager for his area

I don't consider this complaint resolved not even with a technician coming to try and fix the washer because he may not fix the problem but I am willing to let him try to fix it but I really do believe this washing machine is a lemon and not even the technician can fix that unless GE completely gives me a new washer with a hand wash cycle of equal or more price and no extra expenses
