I've lived in Apex, NC for years now & I've had varied successes with H&A providersSo when I decided to replace my unit about years ago, I began by meeting with different companiesI was very impressed with Comfort Masters' commitment to the consumer & their desire to work both with me & for meI am still pleased with my decision to go with this companyOne of the things that really stand out is their ability to schedule the same technician (***) for each service callI've been with another company that sent a different rep each timeThat resulted in multiple reps contradicting each otherI was left not knowing what to believe! Now I know that *** will be servicing my system & there will be no confusion, Yes, it does feel a bit old fashioned - but that is one of the features that I love: good old fashioned service & customer service - a true exception today

It's rare that you find professionalism, integrity, and kindness in one service company (especially when you call on them during an emergency where they can get away with almost anything unethical or unpleasant) I was fortunate to find all three in Comfort Master
I had just returned from a day vacation to find that Raleigh was in the grips of a heat waveThe friend that was housesitting for me had mentioned in a text that the first floor of my home was unusually warm, but she did not tell me that the downstairs HVAC system was only putting out warm air As I had another friend with me who was also staying the weekend, I seriously needed to get the system fixed ASAPUnfortunately, every company that I called that guaranteed "emergency" service meant either they were open late so I could schedule an appointment for a few days later or they would come out within hours - if I was willing to pay double the service rateNo thank you
I found Comfort Master on Angie's List and first of all, the receptionist was extremely professional and niceIn this day and age, you're lucky to get one or the other because not all receptionists can manage both at the same time She told me all of their agents were on service calls at the time but she could have someone out to me within four hoursAdditionally, the price quote she gave me was for the rateThey were the only company I called that were not price gouging by either inflating the amount of the service call or the hourly rate for the work It turns out that *** called me within two hours but unfortunately, I missed his call because I forgot my phone was on silentLuckily, a friend reminded me to check my phone and I saw his messageWhen I called back, the receptionist said she would try to catch him before he went on another call and, thankfully, she didShe advised me he would be there in minutesI asked my friends to let him in if he got there before I finished showering and changingWell, by the time I got ready he had arrived and was finished with his inspection and ready to get to work on the repairAfter he told me what was wrong and I approved the repair, he got to workThe repair didn't take long at allWhen he finished, he gave me a lot of excellent information on how to prolong the life of my system and as a bonus, he was hysterical! He had all three of us laughing until we cried! I can't recommend this company highly enough!

First time was to service our AC units in the summerMost recent is when we had problem with our second floor unitCalled on Friday night at pm , I was impressed that an actual person picked up and contacted a technicianTech called and even offered to come in that evening, I declined since it was very late and can wait the next day
Tech came in and fixed the problem .Very prompt and honest
The office called me a couple of times in the morning to give me updates and time frame
