prevent the State or IRS taxing authorities from sending these letters, but we can get ahead of any collection actions - and we did in your caseYou were NOT garnished by the State, nor have you been garnished by the IRS at this point. Your case is on track for a very successful resolution that will not only protect you from collections, but provide some reduction and relief from the IRS balance. We spoke to Mr. [redacted] on April 12, answered all of his questions and provided him with the information he requested on his case. We agreed to refund the investigation fees and that refund was processed that same day. The complaint was addressed satisfactorily and should be closed out.

Community Tax has spoken with the client on 6/20/17 and addressed her concerns.  We have come to an agreement to correct the issues with the 2016 Tax Return, and offered streamlined communication moving forward. The client has agreed to proceed with Community Tax's services.

Ms. [redacted] and Community Tax agreed to a partial refund of her fees paid to Community Tax.  Ms. [redacted] acknowledged agreement in her prior response. She stated that she “agreed to the terms above.”    Community Tax considers this complaint resolved.

We spoke to Mr. [redacted] on Wednesday 10/18. He spoke to the director of Client Servicing, and we went through his case thoroughly and carefully. We spoke to Mr. [redacted] this morning and were able to address all of his concerns, and come to a resolution.  We are moving forward with the case expeditiously, and plan to reach the desired resolution. Thank you.

Community Tax was contracted to run a Currently Non Collectible IRS Resolution for the client. We completed this resolution in July of 2016. We have confirmed that the client is still in this resolution with IRS, and is currently safe from collective action. Community tax has tried to communicate with the client over the phone multiple times to clear up any confusion or misunderstanding.  The client has abruptly ended the call on each occasion, and not allowed us to help or explain.  Additionally, we would like to request a copy of the letter the client allegedly received from IRS regarding one of our employees. If this can be presented, we are happy to re-evaluate the case.

actions such as Audits and advanced collections are pending with the taxing authority,confirm any filing requirements of tax returns,and we complete a financial analysis should a negotiation with the taxing authority be necessary. Each of these elements of the investigation was completed and the results were presented to Mr. [redacted]. While there are circumstances where we may make a reasonable estimate of tax balances on un-filed tax returns, the nature of Mr. [redacted]'s case does not allow for a reasonably accurate estimated tax balance. It would be irresponsible to provide such an estimate. Mr. [redacted] agreed with this assessment and the nature if the dispute is the Value of our Investigation fee itself. We have agreed to a discount on his future services and Mr. [redacted] has indicated he considers the issue resolved and he is moving forward with Community Tax.

I accept the response from Community Tax and feel like we have come to a fair settlement and I am continuing to use their services.

As has been stated in previous replies, as well as emailed to you,  an investigation was completed in full per the contract that was signed by you, the client, upon signing up with Community Tax. All work contracted for was completed in full, and we are more than happy to provide the results of your investigation again. As a courtesy, you were refunded a portion of the investigation fee.  In the interest of resolving the issue at hand, we are prepared to offer an additional $100 back.  Again, a full refund will not be granted.Please let us know if you would like to accept the additional $100 refund, and someone from our Compliance department will reach out to you by phone.
