Recently I found myself in a situation to which I was left a large unsecured debt. I was not even aware of my situation until it hit a critical state. I placed a call after a little research to CDPC make no mistake I was apprehensive. I was connected with a woman by the name of Mellissa B. I was immediately put at ease by her enpecable communication skills. I found Mellissa to be very empathic , professional , curious and an ability to make a person feel comfortable at perhaps their lowest. In today's climate of impersonal internet world I found that Mellissa supercedes the "norm". Mellissa made me feel comfortable took her time to explain and answer my questions, when she said she would call me back she did. I appreciated the time she took and her patience, follow up skills and professional attitude . It was a pleasure to deal with her. I must reiterate that my past experiences with individuals in a telephone environment have for the most part unacceptable, this was not the case dealing with Mellissa. I hope that she will be rewarded for her outstanding job performance. Thank you Mellissa you are a rare gem . I wish you all the success you deserve .

They were helpful and informative and pleasant, guiding us through a rough time in our lives. They were always able to answer our questions or find out answers if they didn't have them immediately. They were patient and kind and understanding.

Our original contact, Olga D.walked us through the initial process and was there for us even after we were assigned a counsellor.

Elana D., our counsellor, was a joy to work with. If I could meet her in person, I would give her a huge hug.

I am very thankful that I applied in this company. Thad staff are very helpful and professional and informative about everything . Elena is very nice and also she follows up on what's going on about my case and all the staff that I talked to. I highly recommend this company (CDPC) to anybody.

My experience with this company was good up to the point of dealing with the trustee who informed me that I could have saved 1500$ if I had gone to him first. I did ask questions about the money . I assumed it cost 1500$ to file a consumer proposal but it costs nothing if you go straight to a trustee. They knew how I struggled to pay the "fee" and nobody said a word . I assumed it was what was needed as that figure was on all other web sites as well . I doubt I would get any money back if I asked

CDPCL has been very helpful to me. They are always prompt in returning my calls and emails especially Bernadett K., my account manager. They provided outstanding service. They always keep me informed on what is happening with my application. They made me feel that my welfare is their top priority.

It took me a year of struggling to pay off my debt but between the fees and interest, etc. it was impossible to even make any headway. I finally admitted defeat and called CDPCL for help. From the onset I received information on the process of Consumer Proposal and what it meant. Different people within that organization answered my question but it was most of my dealings were with Nadia S. in the beginning and then Grant N.. They enabled me to feel better about myself and my decision to go through this process and at this point I'm feeling a lot less stressed. I was struggling to keep up to the necessary minimum payments due to my creditors when a friend of mine recommended to me to contact Consumer Debtor Protection of Canada for their help. I contacted them and they were very helpful and gave me Elena D. to work on my case. She was quite considerate and understanding when I was struggling to meet their deadlines on filling out necessary paper work on details of my problems and my case.
