It took 8 months to gather and go thru all my information but in the end everything was addressed.It saved me a lot of headache with family and friends cause they were getting creditors calls from my doings.It was well worth the effort.

I found the cdpc very helpful once I followed their steps in did take a while, but once I finished things resolved very easily, ofcourse im not completely done but I am sure things will workout and I'm very thankful that I took these steps and I'm looking forward to finishing and getting myself on the right track

This does fall under the bankruptcy act don't be fooled..Sure it sounds good Ibwas told when I first called I was told In two years you're debt free right and it's not a bankruptcy well it is and its eight years paying it back. I paid this company over 1500 dollars and got nothing from them sure I received emails saying they contacted my creditors but I still got calls like crazy they just kept telling me not to worry about it. Then one day I spoke with one of them and read them one of the emails I was told was sent to them they said they never received such letters so I contacted consumer debt protection to which it wasn't long and I had a meeting with a company they contacted me out to that deals with bankruptcy I started the process in August 2015 and in January 2016 had a meeting with a company in my own home town that deals with bankruptcy and found out it will be 8 years not 2 which I was told by consumer debt protection making monthly payments. And that it does fall under the bankruptcy act. When asked about the 1500 I already paid they could not answer that for me. I do not feel consumer debt protection did anything for me other then send me a few false emails and a few phone calls and false hope. They also have not got back to the company dealing with me now as they have contacted them as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I was struggling paying my bills but not behind and was looking for some help but they put me further behind in my payments then I ever was the 1500 I gave them I could have paid on my bills. I was wasn't looking to go further in debt but was looking for help in dealing with what I had don't feel they helped at all

I was a bit skeptical at first but after a couple conversations with Rajvinder K. I was convinced that it was legitimate and I am certainly glad that it was. I would recommend CDPCL to anyone, through no fault of their own, who is so in debt that they can't see any other way out. My creditors accepted a proposal of approximately 25 cents on the dollar which is a lot better than walking away from my debts.

I chose this company to help me with my proposal. They did everything they said they would, they were punctual and even let me make my own payment arrangements to them and allowed me to be late without penalty. They understand people's problems and conduct business with sympathy.

The woman assigned to my file was Rajvinder K. She was above and beyond professional. She worked with me with extreme effort and did everything she said she would. She make my uncertainties certain and gave me trust and safety as I ventured into the world of consumer proposals. I would suggest you request this woman if you want to do business here.

My experience with CDPCL has been positive. Everyone there is helpful and available, though it is all a little slow, but some of that had to do with own availability and issues getting information on my end. Rajvinder was always kind and professional - she's great...really great at putting people at ease. The only thing I would say that is a bit more negative is that you really have to be aware what you are getting into, because it is not fully disclosed from the beginning. For example, your creditors can decline your proposal leaving you potentially with the only other option of bankruptcy.

My wife and I found ourselves in the position of needing help to keep our heads above water, " financially " (so to speak) and decided to use a company that we thought was the best way to go, and chose , "Consumer Debtor Protection of Canada" to guide us through the process step by step, which was very very unfamiliar to us. We have now gained a small insight into just how much they have to do to give the consumer (us) the final outcome to help us in our time of "need".

I used this company for a consumer proposal recently. They are very professional and constantly kept in touch with me. If I had a question I would call, and if my rep wasnt available he would get right back to me. They went through the process with me step by step, and it all went very smoothly.
