I am not satisfied with their resolve but don't expect them to provide anything else, so I give up on pursuing what I feel is... right. They are just too big obviously to truly look into the complaint to see how ridiculous their request to move my water heater really was. They are sending me an energy credit of $50 which honestly doesn't cover the additional electric cost while the unit wasn't operating properly. I ended up with a relocated water heater that causes my clothes dryer to now stick out in the room and I have to reach over it to get to the cloths washer. This is due to poor communication and training between GE and ***s installers and not providing the correct information to the consumer regarding the installation needs on the water heater when purchased as well as not installing correctly to begin with, according to GE. Short of the pick up return credit I asked for, a good compromise from GE would have been agreeing to service the unit as installed. GE was extremely inflexible in coming up with an installation solution to match the available space for the water heater and insisted it be re-installed 3" from the wall when there was clearly an 270 degree access from all other sides. Even after the unit was moved, the GE technician still complained about the available access even though there is and was more access to the unit than shown in the companies installation video on their website. Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer’s situation. GE has advised Ms. [redacted] that her unit is nearly three years old and out of warranty. As a gesture of goodwill GE has agreed to a no charge repair however, she has been advised that any future repairs would be her... responsibility. Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] There isn't anything really to accept but in addition to GE's response I would like to add that when they left the messages we were at work and are in a different time zoneWhen I called back I had to leave a message as wellAlso I would like to add that yes a different part was replaced but I feel GE should have address the issue when it happened the second time, not the fourth, maybe that was the part that should have been replaced not all the othersI made several complaints to the GE consumer relations department regarding the repetative issuesWe have also lost time off work and several hundred dollars in food, because every time we've had this issue we have had to throw away "ALL" the items in our refrigeratorGE has a food loss department but never told us about it until this last repairWhen I called the food loss department they said that they would only cover years and our refrigerator is now years old, but the first incident was well within the yearsI did eventually speak to GE and I voiced my complaints (again) and she said she would note them downHopefully this repair will be the end of the issuesRegards, [redacted]  %

To date, the conusmer has not responded to my voice mail

The only way to resolve this is by having a conversation I left the consumer a vm on 2/asking for her to supply the model and serial numbers for the units so at least I will have something to work with I have not received a return call I left her another one today with the same request
