Thanks for getting in touch with us. Please find hereafter a copy of the response from Mr. [redacted], Customer Support Manager at DealDash:
"Hello [redacted],
Thank you for contacting us about your DealDash account. I have had a look at the...

recent bidding with the technokel account.
This year there have been 3 x 300 bidpacks purchased ($117) and 2 auctions won with a product value of $364.
In this case, as the purchased bids have already been used in a variety of auctions they are not eligible for refund. DealDash will respond and provide information to any Revdex.com follow-up regarding the bidding and auctions from this account.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm not asking for the won items. Simply for a refund on the bid packs. What if someone other than my daughter would have accessed my account. I have not used Deal Dash in years. My daughter accessed my phone and debit card and did it. Please refund the $137 and close my account. Please stop sending emails about your company. She said that's how she knew about Deal Dash and was able to access my account. I remember asking the company before this occurred to cancel sending emails.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/02/20) */
Hi [redacted],
Thanks for getting in touch. If these purchases had been fraudulent, from a different IP, or someone had had unauthorized access to your card, then we would certainly refund the purchases.
However, the activity in your account is legitimate, and the purchases were made from your device. There is no way to determine whether the purchases were made by you or your daughter, and unfortunately we cannot be responsible for a confidentiality issue on your end.
As previously mentioned,
password confidentiality is important, please note you are able to change your current password from the Dashboard: https://www.dealdash.com/dashboard-account-details
On a separate note, your email has now been removed from our mailing list. In some rare cases, it can take a few days to complete the removal, so please be patient for a few business days.

I am rejecting this response because: The first part of their response is from an automated message.  I received the same response after complaining the first time about this.  Deal Dash is trying to rip me.off as they have done other people who have been charged for bids without their knowing and other things.  I have yet to recieve any kind of message about the item THAT I PAID FOR.  I will not accept this response and if the problem is not rectified I will take further action.  This is not right to ripoff people and be able to get away with it.

Hi [redacted],Thank you for your getting in touch. It seems there is no active DealDash account associated with [redacted]@gmail.com.To help us locate your account, please send us any of the following:1) Alternative email you may have used 2) PayPal email address if used3) Last 4 digits of...

Hi [redacted],Thank you for getting in touch. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this issue. I want to stress that no bidding by employees, bots, or any other kind of shill bidding takes place on the website. We have been audited by Ernst & Young, and the results of the audit certify this. If...

you would like to access a copy of the audit, please find it here: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdfI have had a chance to review the screenshots that you provided. These contained: 1. User [redacted] winning an auction on June 12, 11.13PM; a 2nd one on June 13, 3:25AM; and a 3rd one on June 13, 3.29PM.The reason why the 2nd screenshot shows the same winning limit as the first one, is because with the Cyber Monday Sale on June 13, all winning limits for every single user (including yourself) were reset back to 0. Thus, on June 12 at midnight, the limit went back to zero for every bidder. The reason why the 2nd and the 3rd screenshot show the same number of winning limits is because you took both screenshots at 5.52PM and 5.53PM. Thus, the winner shows the current number of winning limits. In other words, when you took the screenshot, both won auctions were counted into the winning limits, and that is why both auctions show 2/9 wins.2. User [redacted] winning an auction on June 12, 11.43PM, and a 2nd auction on June 13, at 10.12AM.In this case, similarly, the user won the first auction on June 12 at 11.43PM; that is, 17 minutes before the limits were reset for every user. The second auction was won on June 13 at 10.12AM, and since the limits had been reset, the auction again counted as 1/9. I want to stress that these users were not the only ones that had their winning limits reset. Every single user did, as a result of our Cyber Monday Sale. You also had your limits reset. We work hard to maintain an absolutely fair website.I hope this response has been able to clarify. If you are still confused or need any further guidance or clarification, we are more than happy to continue this conversation, so please don’t hesitate to contact me with any other questions you may have.Sincerely, AdrianCommunity Manager

pay to bid system where you must purchase a bid pack at first if you want to participate in the auctions. All purchases are made by users by selecting the item and entering payment details: http://screencast.com/t/N47OT0ea
It seems you purchased 300 bids for $36.00 USD.
With that said, all customers are entitled to a 100% money back guarantee on their first bid pack. I've gone ahead and issued a refund of your initial payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for your bank to process the refund.
Your refund details are below.

Please find hereafter response from our support team:
Hello,
Thank you for your e-mail. I'm sorry to hear that there's been a misunderstanding.
The initial payment was for the bidpack you purchased after signing up for your free...

account. DealDash operates on the "pay to participate/bid model" so it's required to first purchase bids. With that said, all customers are entitled to a 100% money back guarantee on their first bid pack.
I've gone ahead and issued a refund for this transaction. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for your bank to receive the refund.
In the meantime, I'll leave the bids in your account. You can use these to bid on some of our great items, and you can even win these auctions without having it interfere with your refund!
For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work
If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me, and I hope you give yourself another chance to take advantage of our bargains!

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Assuming the refund is processed, I accept. DealDash may wish to modify its interface, so that users do not inadvertently "purchase" without their knowledge or consent.

I am rejecting this response because:
Theres is most definitely an email under [redacted]@gmail.com associated with deal dash. Plus they didn't send me any way to respond by giving the last digits of my card.

Hi [redacted],I am writing with regards to our call on Friday, and the resolution our Customer Support manager has provided. An investigation by our technical team show these payments were made from the same device that previous payments were made from, however, we have gone ahead and have refunded...

Hi [redacted], Thank you for getting in touch. Our ads advertise the sales price of the item, and the cost of bids is disclosed in the advertising claims.  As with any store, if you are to purchase items from us at our price, the price may be higher than what you will find elsewhere. Some...

competitors may be able to discount prices or offer items cheaper. We will, however, give back all the bids used in the auction if you decide to pay our price to get an item. The DealDash store prices may fluctuate both up and down from time to time and the price is always shown in advance before entering the auction so you can always see what our price will be. I hope that clarifies the situation. It also seems like you are requesting a refund. All of our customers are entitled to a 90 day full money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase. It seems there is no DealDash account associated with [redacted]@gmail.com To help us locate your account, please send us any of the following: 1) Alternative email you may have used 2) PayPal email address if used3) Last 4 digits of credit/debit card if used4) Order receipt numbers Please reply and we'll be glad to help resolve this.

Hi [redacted],Thank you for getting in touch. We have reviewed our records, and can see that you initially contacted our support team regarding the first auction. Our records show that your BidBuddy was manually cancelled. However, we made an exception and returned the bids to your account, just in...

case it had been a mis-tap. We also let you know that we would not be able to make this exception again. Furthermore, we activated a feature on your account, which enabled a pop-up that warns you before BidBuddy is manually cancelled, so in order to cancel you would have to confirm by clicking that pop-up.Taking a look at the records on the second auction, we can see that the BidBuddy was manually cancelled from your Samsung Galaxy. Furthermore, the pop-up was shown to you, meaning that this cancellation had to be further confirmed. The BidBuddy was manually cancelled at 2017-10-19 10:30:59. Three seconds after the popup was shown.Unfortunately, we cannot return the bids a second time, as this was a manual cancellation and you were already advised. If you have any questions, please let us know and we'll be glad to clarify.Best,DealDash Support

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/20) */
As stated in our Terms of Use, the No Jumper policy means that the auction is only available for bidders that have placed a bid in the auction before the $5.00 price. Placing a bid in the beginning of the auction and then remaining silent until...

the auction is closer to end is a legitimate strategy and is not in breach of our Terms of Use. Please note that users who follow this strategy take the risk of the auction coming to an end before they come back to bid. This is a strategy that you could have chosen to follow if you thought it would benefit you. Please note that users are responsible for the amount of bids they place in an auction.
According to our Terms of Use which all users accept when signing up, our 100% Money Back Guarantee applies to the first bid pack purchase only. We have refunded your first bid pack purchase in accordance with this guarantee. The rest of purchases are not eligible for a refund, since you don't have any refundable bids left. Hereafter you'll find the refund conditions for unused bids that are stated in our Terms of Use:
Unused bids are eligible for a full refund only if the bids have been purchased at their full price of 60c per bid.
Example (normal priced bids): [redacted] purchases 100 bids for $60 and bids 10 times. All the remaining 90 bids are eligible for a total refund of $54 ( 90 * $0.60 ).
If the bids have been purchased at a promotional rate of less than 60c per bid, only the portion of the purchased bids that the customer would have received at 60c each is eligible for a refund. The refundable portion of the bids is always used first.
Example (discount priced bids): [redacted] purchases 100 bids for $30 and bids 10 times. Only the first 50 bids of those 100 bids were refundable ( $30 / $0.60 = 50 ). [redacted] has 40 refundable bids and 50 free bids left on his account. He is eligible for a refund of 40 * $0.60 = $24.
According to these terms, you are not eligible for the full refund requested.
Mind that you can always recover the bids you've lost by making the Buy It Now purchase of the item. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids.
I hope this helps clarify your concerns. We'll be happy to help with any questions you may have.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
At no point during my short time on the website were the bids available for the full price of .60. The company continuously list the bids at discounted rates to protect them from having to provide refunds to unsatisfied users. The legitimate strategy of staying silent is nowhere listed on the site under the tips and tactics, so how would a new user of 10 days know this? Since the company is going hiding behind the smoke and mirrors of a the terms of use policy I will be sure to evoke my right to freedom of speech a share with other on social media of the shady terms of use and hopefully prevent others from wasting money- and take my business back to eBay where I have never had an issue.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/08/22) */
Please note that according to our terms of use, which all users agree to when signing up, DealDash reserves the right to sell bids at any discounted price to specific user groups for promotional purposes. All DealDash users understand that they may from time to time receive unique offers to buy discounted bids and that other users may do so as well. Similarly, users may see different product pricing, based partly on the activity characteristics of that user.
DealDash reserves the right to, at its discretion, remove any sign up or other promotional bids that have been added to a users account for free at any given time without further notice.
The sales and promotions we offer are made with the sole purpose of making the site more affordable to our users.
I hope this helps clarify. Please let us know if there's anything else you need. We'll be happy to help.

I am rejecting this response because: the account logins and Paypal transactions were unauthorized.  What you have stated may be all the records you have but they do not prove that I - the account holder - authorized them.  I did not and cannot be more clear about that.  I would have expected you to work with me, in good faith, as a business who wishes to maintain positive customer relations so I am very disappointed in you.  I'm not arguing that Dealdash initiated these charges, I'm sure you did not.  I'm trying to explain that I - the account holder - did not authorize the disputed transactions.  I can't speak to whatever records or "pings" you track but they are incorrect, modified, I have no idea what the technology does these days.  Maybe someone can mimic them, I have no idea.  Beyond that, there is nothing further I can do beyond continue this process and file reviews wherever possible so maybe this doesn't happen again.  If you don't want to work with me, that's fine.  I have been very fair and forthcoming. Thanks.
