Do not book an appointment with Dean's if your time is important to you I had a sump pump out with a very wet basement and I was scheduled for the following morningI received a call that morning and was told that they couldn't make my appointmentThe only options they gave me were to either reschedule for the following day or pay an emergency fee to be seen in the eveningEven after a manager was notified, these were the only remediesI would think that they would either wave the emergency fee or offer something else to keep their customer happy

Dean's plumbing replaced a garbage disposal for a ridiculous price of $The only reason I agreed was I needed to use the kitchen that weekendThree months later, the new garbage disposal broke This company is not trust worthy; take your business elsewhere

Dean's Professional Plumbing, Heating and Air came to our duplex regarding a problem we were having with the boilerThe technician told me that there were two items needed replacing at a cost of approximately $1, I called a competitor for a second opinionThe actual problem was able to be FIXED for $(this included the $fee for someone just to go to the house and assess the problem)There have been no problems since Dean's was DISHONEST! We had a similar experience with Dean's in when we called them to look at our garage heaterAgain, the technician told me the heater needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,I went to another company for a second opinion where the real problem was found to be that the burners needed to be cleanedThis was done and the heater has been working every since!

Found my yr old water heater leaking/ Dean's Professional was able to send out a plumber in an hour or so Brad was his name Brad was very polite and explained what had happened and said he could fix the part that was causing the problem Because this water heater is years old I decided to have them install a new one They are probably more expensive to deal with than [redacted] etc, but my new water heater was installed within the next couple hours Cost included permit and taking away of old water heater

I am rejecting this response because: It is not the part itself that I'm claiming fraud, it's the part cost plus labor charge that I am claiming fraud charges, the part itself a 35/capacitor cost only $for the most expensive a Lennox brand same as my air conditioner unit, the average cost is $25.00, The labor in Mnis $per hr, according to Minnesota's own Excel energy company, plus standard heating and air conditioning another company with high standards in MinnesotaHow can they come up with a total charge of $477.12, The technician were not at my house for an hour, so I am willing to give him an hour plus highest part cost, with my math that come to a total of $that's a $difference that's where the fraud comes.Stanley [redacted] ***>Maple Grove Mn[redacted] @yahoo.com

[redacted] was awesome and very patient waiting for us to make a decision on our broken furnanceHe was quick to arrive since it was after hoursHe was able to fix it no problem and we had heat againWould recommend for sure

Deans came out to fix a sump pump they installed last yearThe tech guy said it burned out because of the water venting system outside the houseIt was the cause of the pump damage and the warranty was voidI asked him why they didn't notice the venting system upon the initial install and didn't get a sane answerHe then said they would honor the warranty if he could drill a new hole in the foundation for $I called in another company that uses the same pumpsHe looked at the Deans install and found a vacuum tube was not originally installedHe cleared out the pump, installed the vacuum return hose and the pump is working perfectlySo much for business ethics

Joe was extremely knowledgeable about what was wrong with my furnace. Right off the bat before he even took off his shoes he told me exactly what was wrong. He provided multiple options on how to fix the problem. He was also super helpful in explaining what he was doing and just general upkeep of the furnace. Also suggested a few things that we not furnace related that were very helpful. He even vacuumed out our furnace once he was done replacing the parts. He was extremely nice.

I would recommend Dean's They have a great membership program They had a technician out within hours of my call of my furnace not working (not good in MN!) The technician, [redacted] was informative and knowledable I had to replace my furnace and Glenn was very aware of my household situation He offered space heaters to keep us warm until the new furnace was in, which couldn't be until the next Day Because of his concern for my child with Down syndrome touching the heaters, he called in and was able to get my new furnace in that day I would highly recommend Dean's, not only for the work they did, but in [redacted] awareness and the company's ability to work around it our needs Great job!

I had Dean'scome out for a second opinion on furnace repairs suggested by another company that would have cost $ They did a thorough inspection and found that there were actually no problemsThey saved me a lot of money!
