I had an emergency plumbing issue tonightA pinhole leak was spraying our basementDean's sent out an excellent plumber who immediately found the problem, fixed it, and also helped refer me to a company who can help me tear up the carpet and will bring fans
Dean's was super nice (phone reps and in person), quickly responded, efficient and so nice to work with

I called for service after hours to replace the thermocouple on my hot water heater Quoted for Dean's Professional Plumbing, Maple Grove, Mn to come out plus whatever they find wrong I was correct, the thermocouple was bad They replaced, about another They also said the flame sensor was bad which they don't have, and it will cost about another to fix that too if I wantThe tech fixed a wire on the sensor which if not touched or moved would keep the heater goingAbout days later the heater went out again I called another company to fix it They said the thermocouple which Deans' Plumbing put in was not compatible with the water heater and should never been put in with the flame sensor bad in the first placeThe manufacturer of the water heater said they only sell the burner unit complete, one full unit with all parts on it (about $100.00) The new company ordered the full burner unit part and put it in, $total
I was charged about for less than an hours work by Dean's I called them, spoke to a manager who reimbursed me about saying that's the best they can do I said the emergency after hour trip charge I agree to pay, but since the part was wrong, and burned out right away, I should get the rest reimbursedThey would notInstead of arguing anymore I hung upAlso, I didn't call Dean's back since the price was outrageous, and the tech said they don't have the part Very poor business Unfortunate they would charge that much for work performed which was wrong in the first place

100% Satisfaction Guarantee should mean exactly thatSatisfaction with a job well done or your money backIt is a standard in the service and retail industriesWhere you did "offer" to return to our home it was to return IF we paid you additional $to "possibly" resolve the issueNever once did you stated that you would come back out "free of charge" to satisfy and uphold your guarantee of 100% satisfaction
We insist on a full refund as soon as possible, as the service we paid for should have resolved our back up(As this was EXACTLY what the other company did and cleared with less time and for Less money) We paid for drain cleaning to resolve our back up, but as your company was unable unclog the pipes we paid someone else for drain cleaning
We are not denying you were here, but clearly you did not fix the issue and are skirting around this fact
We are home owners that take good care of our house, even if we do not use your maintenance plans

Trevor is a professional and competent technicianHe is polite, explains issues clearly, and spends the time needed to solve problems and answer questions

I am rejecting this response because: It is not the part itself that I'm claiming fraud, it's the part cost plus labor charge that I am claiming fraud charges, the part itself a 35/capacitor cost only $for the most expensive a Lennox brand same as my air conditioner unit, the average cost is $25.00, The labor in Mnis $per hr, according to Minnesota's own Excel energy company, plus standard heating and air conditioning another company with high standards in MinnesotaHow can they come up with a total charge of $477.12, The technician were not at my house for an hour, so I am willing to give him an hour plus highest part cost, with my math that come to a total of $that's a $difference that's where the fraud comesStanley ***

Hi Mr***, I take your concerns very seriously and I have looked into your situationAfter looking at invoice and notes, I did find that Jeff did install the correct part for your air conditioner that he proposed on your invoiceYour invoice states that he installed a 35/MFD Dual
Motor Starter, which is also known as a capacitorA capacitor sends electrical to your compressor and fan to start them and maintain the electrical currentThe part he used was a turbo which is modified to 35/MFD to run your systemIf this were not the correct part for your air conditioner’s issue, it would not currently be workingI apologize if you feel that this repair is fraudulent, however, I am not finding the evidence to support thisYour invoice also had several other options and the one you chose and signed off on was the 35/MFD repair in which it did solve your issues I apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurredI would be more than happy to answer any other questions you may have Regards, Jeremy *** General Manager

I am a home owner of years, and Dean' Professional plumbing was the worst company that provided a service to my home They installed an AC in July of so poorly that I had to have them come out for two follow up visits to fix the AC they installed wrong Once again I having problems with my AC this summer and have to call them a second time this summer for more problems I have never been more frustrated with a company before and I do make it a point to share my experience with others so they don't have to go through what I have gone through I truly regret getting this service from this company, and has been the only bad decision I have made since purchasing the house

Very poor experienceMade an appointment to have my washer/dryer room moved to another floor of my houseWas given a hour window (am to pm)Waited for hours and finally received a call telling me they wouldn't be able to make itAnother job ran overAfter calling the manager to complain about the process, I was simply told "these types of things happen"

I had a laundry tub faucet that need to be replacedThe plumber quoted me an outrageous price of and also pointed out several items in my home that according to him were not up to codeI made the mistake of telling him (Erik) that I was going to be selling my homeHe had pointed out several items including my gas line shut off valve that he said would not pass inspectionI later learned that since my home was built in 1953, it would pass inspectionHe made the comment that an inspector would have a hay day, which was very unprofessionalI feel he tried to rip me off and try to scare me into spending a lot of money that was not necessaryI would not recommend them at all
