Timely, professional, accurate repair work

I would highly recommend this company to those wishing to install new equipment whether it be furnace, air conditioner, water softener, or water heater They arrived at the scheduled time, installed our new equipment in a timely manner, and removed the old completely and efficiently They were cordial and professional What move could you ask for The only thing would have been to have given us the new equipment for free Enough said

This company really listened to my needs and found a solution that worked with my budget*** R was able to create more efficiency and more heat in my house*** was able to install new water heaters that can accommodate my needs*** helped finish the jobThey were on time, able to accomplish my significant job and cleaned up pretty wellI suggest they use more floor protection, even on basement floors

Brad from Dean's recently installed a new Water Heater After he left I had a question after reviewing the user manual I called Dean's and Brad came back out to explain the issue I was concerned about and explained that I didn't need to expense what I thought should be done and why He did not charge me for the one-visit

Was very impressed with the professional service I received from ***'s Plumbing, Heating, & A/C! It was easy to setup an appointment with the friendly office staff...the staff notified me when my A/C tech Dan was due to arrive and he arrived promptly...I explained to Dan the problem I was having and he said he would first do some cleaning and then run some tests and let me know what he found...he was very efficient and knowledgeable and explained clearly to me the defects he had found He also explained my options and his recommendations Dan was great to work with ...very professional and friendly! Would highly recommend!

Our experience with Dean's Pro Plumbing, Heating & Air was exceptionalAfter a late Friday nite breakdown of our hot water heater and a floor full of water we thought we'd be stuck with the mess until MondayWe called Deans around 9am Saturday and serviceman was out in an hour - surveyed the job and quoted us what sounded like a fair priceWe gave the go ahead, and with the time needed to go and get the Water Heater, the technician was back in an hour and completed the job by mid afternoonBesides doing a great job on the repair, he kept us up on every detail of the job and asked our opinion when he thought if necessaryOur technician (Tim *** was a pleasure to work with - and an exceptionally nice guy...and he got us out of a very messy situationthanks

I needed a toilet repair and Tim L was dispatched to my house, he reviewed the situation and gave me my options and then proceeded with the option I selected He was very informed and explained exactly what he did

My original complaint standsThis complaint specifically details the unprofessional conduct, bait and switch tactics employed by Dean's Plumbing
The service tech left my home without any warning, and without saying goodbye or trying to rectify the situation
It speaks volumes that Dean's management did return my call as requested immediately after the technician abandoned the job siteThere was no acceptance of responsibility for a poorly done job, my fence being damaged by their tech, or the reprehensible and unprofessional conduct of the service tech
Regarding Dean's self-serving offer of a gift coupon (and my presumption is the coupon is for Dean's services), their offer only highlights their deceptive business practices and delusional response
No sane person would allow this contractor into their home after such a horrendous experience
But, again, focus on the fact that Dean's management failed to return my requested call, thereby proving their claims of great customer service is merely a guiseTheir refusal to return my call, which could have placated me and resolved the problem, is further indication that "high volume, low quality" represents their corporate mission
And, MN Revdex.com, with all of the dissatisfied Dean's customers and high frequency of complaints, it seems un fathomable that your group rewards them with an A+ ratingMembership money solves many ills, does it not?

We appreciate your responseWe do pride ourselves with customer service and number one goal is to take care of our customersAs any company may receive complaints, we work to resolve them timely and reasonablyFrom the initial call for your drain and before the tech was dispatched, different people in our staff worked very hard to work with your aggressive natureWhen the tech arrived he immediately became uncomfortable with this aggression and insulted by your wordsHe felt great disrespect with the way you spoke about his wife, talked down to him, and your overall aggression towards himHe provided you solutions you did not like as they were solutions that were the right way to do the workHe was so uncomfortable with the interactions, he left and did not chargeOur offer still stands

Scam artistsUnethical businessI never write reviews but they should be AVOIDED! When they come to your home they will put their stickers on every appliance you own, then when it breaks, you call them and not the original installerThey then charge you twice the going rate for new equipmentDetails:
Some time ago my wife had a gas line run to a new gas dryer while I was out of townShe called Dean's out of the blueExpensive plus they told us our dryer vent needed replacing (it didn't), she was quoted $extraShe called me and I said no after being charged $for the lineWork quality was not the issue
A few years later on a weekend our year old gas water heater boiled over from a bad thermostatI called the number on the sticker on the water heaterIt was Dean'sI asked if they had a record of our heater and they said noI thought that was odd but went ahead and scheduled them to come outThey quoted a service fee but were unwilling to give out any prices for repair/replaceI had a good experience with the previous installer, assuming it was Dean's, and had them come out
The tech, *** reminded me of *** *** slimy character in Sideways, said it would be $to replace the thermostat (or whatever was needed) and that he couldn't guarantee they had the part and might not be able to do it until MondayHowever, he conveniently opened a slick catalog showing a new identical heater that he could have installed in 4-hours$was the quoteConfused, and assuming it was the same contractor as before, I said "gee, seems expensive, is that a competitive price?" He said it might be a little high and could knock $offI didn't remember paying that much years ago but felt stuck, had a full house with guests in town and no hot waterThe install went fine, again quality not the issue
Out of curiosity a few days later I called several contractors for bids on an identical or equivalent heater and got quotes for $to $1800, some of them would have done it on a weekendI called Dean's and pointed out that I likely overpaid $or more for their workBy then I had also figured out that they were not the original installerAfter several phone calls and finally threats of calls to the Revdex.com and negative reviews I got them to refund $I never got around to doing the reviews until now, a few years later when our furnace broke and there, covering the original installer's sticker, was a Dean's sticker and thus this review

We came home to no hot water after a weekend camping tripTim came out on an emergency call on a Sunday night and provided excellent serviceHe got our heater working again, but after talking through our options we decided to schedule a replacement due to the age of our unit and the likelihood it would happen againTim was very professional and friendly and knowledgeable, and we never felt pressuredHe was straight forward in going over our options and we felt very comfortable and reassuredWe plan to use Dean's for our future plumbing and hvac needs

Deans came out to fix a sump pump they installed last yearThe tech guy said it burned out because of the water venting system outside the houseIt was the cause of the pump damage and the warranty was voidI asked him why they didn't notice the venting system upon the initial install and didn't get a sane answerHe then said they would honor the warranty if he could drill a new hole in the foundation for $I called in another company that uses the same pumpsHe looked at the Deans install and found a vacuum tube was not originally installedHe cleared out the pump, installed the vacuum return hose and the pump is working perfectlySo much for business ethics

Dean's Plumbing has completed a number of jobs for us including water heater, water softener, adding a gas shut-off valve for our clothes dryer, and replacing numerous gate valves with lever style valves throughout the houseAll work was completed to our satisfaction and the technicians were great to work with

First Deans cancelled my appointment at 2: when I had a 12-window, which caused me to waste a perfectly good afternoon I explained I could not do a morning appointment, but I would be willing to take another 12-window for the next day Deans then proceeded to leave several message the next morning to see if they could come out When I retrieved the messages at noon I called and they said someone would be there at 1:00pm, I said I'll be there at 1:10, and they said that would be ok So I arrived on time and waited until 1:40, and then I called asking what was going on Once again I was told the tech had been held up at the previous job and it would be another minutes I had told everyone at Deans that I was coming from minutes away and would need to bring my grandmother and one year old with, so I didn't want them stuck in the car too long, as I currently am renting my house At last I met the tech and he was very nice He said it would cost around $to cap my hot water radiator, and that was what appeared on the estimate But also on the estimate was a $charge for draining and purging the system I explained to the tech, that I knew how to drain and purge the system, so I didn't require that service We agreed that I would call him the next day at noon to verify the boiler system was drained I then retuned to the house later that night to drain the system The next morning I received voicemail from Deans saying they were no longer willing to perform the service because they did not think that service would fix the problem Deans wasted Wednesday and Thursday of waiting for a service they were unwilling to perform after providing me with both a written and verbal agreement I now have to wait until Monday to get decent people in to fix the problem Deans does not want to fix things for a fair price, but try and make an extra buck Dishonest and very unreliable, beware!

We contacted Dean's on Sunday around 11:a.mwith an emergency that our water heater died They were out by 3:p.mand were able to replace the same day Both the customer service rep on the phone and the plumber were very helpful, professional and walked us through everything

We are going to refund the amount that we have on file which is $That amount will be processed when we get approval from the customerBest of luck with your new system
