Great,I can see a different in my skin
Thank you ***! We appreciate your feedback!
I really like these products they work really good.
Thank you
I have experimented with a great many products - as you know, the face cream market has been kind of 'exploding' for a while now. I am an older person; I have dry skin. I do have fine (and not so fine) lines. Some of the products I tried were helpful to an extent. I tend to fall for all the advertisement, covering shipping cost only, etc. But I was never totally satisfied with what I tried. So I thought, why not try Dermaset. I was a bit skeptical, after having tried so many different creams. I am delighted I tried! It is a wonderful cream. At my age, I will never have youthful looking skin again. But Dermaset has made an enormous difference - it eliminated my wrinkles substantially, my complexion is fine. I would be happy to continue using it!
My only question is: that tube is supposed to have 30-days worth of cream? Perhaps I use too much of it, both mornings and evenings? It didn't quite make it, for thirty days. Perhaps I could visit the Dermaset studio (I live in Fort Lauderdale)?
I am not sure if the above information is anything you were looking for. But basically, all I wanted to say that, especially after having tried a number of other products, I am please with Dermaset and it is a product I want to continue using.
Thank you for your feedback!
Its a great product cost more but well worth it.
Help with sun damage skin.
And wrinkles around the eyes and forehead.
Thank You ***!
great product. would recommend for all skin types
Thank you ***! We appreciate your feedback!
This product has made a great difference in my skin, VERY impressed!
Thank you *** Your feedback is important to us!
At first, I was very sceptical, however once I started using the product, a very close friend who was unaware I using Derma commented on how good my eyes were looking & was impressed that my "bags" were gone. Obviously, I was very happy with her comments. Thanks to Derma
Thank you for your review!
Dermaset misleadingly advertises a free trial without clearly stating that if you do not return the product within 30 days they charge $179.00.
I spoke to a representative on the phone after finding a 179.00 charge on my credit card for the product advertised as a "free" trial. My credit card was refunded and I have now been notified through a collection agency that I have been sent to collections to pay the money that was refunded. The collections letter is dated July 17, 2018. The agency is Accounts Recevable (acct.number XXXXXXXX). I contacted this company and their only response was to apply pressure, threatening to charge upwards of $400 if I did not pay them the money.
I would like the fraudulent charges revoked and credit dispute resolved through the collections agency by dismissing the charges.
Dear Revdex.com:
Our company does do the trial for 30 days. We have our Terms on our website, than we email the Terms after the order is placed, then we send the same Terms by mail. We are sorry s.*** did not read them. The trial is the period of 30 days and we do not mislead on the Terms. Our Terms state very clearly what happens. We also have the video and The FAQ on our website. We do not know how it was missed. We send a very expensive product and we only charge $4.95 for shipping, then we wait 30 days to see if product has worked. If they like and decide to keep the product, the card is charged, if not they can return the empty tube back to the company. st of the time the product does work and we are confident to do the trial. I am sorry s. *** did not understand it. Please review our trial explanation:Here is an explanation of the 30 Days Trial. : ***Please keep in mind that a trial is not the same thing as a free sample***
When ordering the 30 day trial of DermaSet, you will be shipped a full sized 60 day supply tube (2oz of the cream) and you will be charged $4.95 for shipping and handling at the time of placing your order. You will have 30 days from the date of order to try the product for free. You must call us within the 30 day trial period and tell us if you enjoyed use of our product and would like to keep it, or if you would like to send back the unused portion of the tube.
If you do like the product and decide to keep the cream past the 30 days trial period, then you will be charged for the price of the product, which is $179.00. If you decide to send back the product, all you will responsible for is the cost of shipping the product back. Bear in mind we have a 60 day money back guarantee on all trial orders, starting from the date of the order.
If you decide to continue using DermaSet, all tubes after the first one (trial tube) will be discounted to our VIP price of $139.00 and the default provision is that you will be placed on an auto-ship schedule of every two months. However this automatic replenishment is not mandatory; you may choose to opt out of the auto-ship or rearrange your delivery schedule however you'd like by simply contacting us.
I am sorry the product cannot be returned at this time. The return period for both products have ended. The account does remain outstanding for both charges.
Sincerely
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not receive the terms in writing and the explanation was attached to the link to a website so the company very unclear and misleading in how they provide this information. I spoke to someone within the 60 day period when I noticed the charge to my account. They refunded my credit card but told me I could not return the product. Again, another fraudulent and misleading response in the explanation provided. After giving me a refund they have initiated collections. This company is irreputable and irresponsible.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I called as soon as I noticed the charges on my credit card for the "free" product. Again, I never received notice by mail that I would be charged and I was not aware of the fine print that is fraudulently linked to the advertisement so that people are not informed of the marketing scam they are engaging in. You are running an unethical marketing campaign that fraudulently scams people out of money.
Dear Revdex.com,
We are neither unethical nor a scam. As a matter of fact, we give our very expensive product to be tried for 30 days for only the shipping cost. We do not advertise or sell samples. If the client does not like the DermaSet, all the client has to do is return the empty tube. There is no company that does that. We have thousands, upon thousands of customers that only bought the product because of the Trial. If we gave samples it will never work. We are not fraud, the client did not read or follow our Terms and Conditions, which are all over our website and the video and the FAQ and we simply do not advertise anything but a trial.
Sincerely,
M.
Offer of trial sample, sample paper work without address on package or contact information in writing. Received package after long wait company called within a day or two requesting order. I asked for price because "free trial information had nothing." They said $179.00 a month. I told them I could not afford and had just received product. Instead on 6/9/2018 $179.00 was charged no other product had been ordered from original sample trial.
Other (requires explanation) Refund
Ms. placed an order for our 30 day trial of Dermaset on 05/10/18, and paid $4.95 for shipping and handling. The package was delivered to her on 05/15/2018 (See tracking information attached). A trial is not a free sample, nor is that language used anywhere in any of our promotional materials or website. Ms. received an order confirmation email (to be attached), which also had a link to our terms. The email explicitly states the trial is not a sample. Ms. also received a letter bundled with her product that included an overview of the term.
Regarding the trial itself, Ms. had 30 days to try out our product for free, during which she could contact us if she wished to cancel or return the product. After the 30 days had passed, as it states in our terms and conditions, we charged her the price of the product, $179, on 06/09/18.
Our Terms also state that we do offer a 60 days money back guarantee. Therefore she still had time to contact our office for return instructions. We have a very professional team who provide excellent customer service and would have happily assisted her.
We had one of our customer service representatives contact Ms. on 07/17/2018, to let her know we would be happy to provide her with the return instructions, and upon our receipt of the product, she will be immediately issued a full refund of $179.00. She agreed and the return instructions were emailed.
It was also noted that Ms. made several other purchases with different companies, and seemed to be confused with each company's terms, her order date etc.
We now await the return of the product, after which Ms. will be refunded the $179.00.
I am filing a complaint against Dermaset, Inc., Hollywood, FL XXXXX-XXXX_ I ordered a skin care product with a shipping cost of $4.95 which was charged to my VISA on 3/25/18.1 never received the product and on April 24, 2018, Dermaset charged my VISA $179.00, I called Dermaset on 5/9/18 when I noticed this huge charge on my VISA bill which I was preparing to pay. I talked with a lady, named Stacy, who said I had to pay that amount because I did not call within 30 days to cancel, nor did I return the product. It is impossible to return something you have never received. After going back and forth with her, I finally said I will take this up with my VISA company. At that point she said she would refund that amount on my VISA bill, which showed as a credit on my VISA on 5/11/18_
On June 26, 2018, I received a 'Pre-collection Request' letter for overdue charges of $179.00. I am being threatened to pay $179.00 within 2 weeks of the date on the letter (June 21, 2018) to avoid collection activity.
On June 27, 2018, I called Dermaset and talked with Ken. He said there was nothing he could do, He said the managers had discussed the matter and decided I must pay. He wouldn't let me talk with anyone &se. He said he was the highest level and only one there.
I don't feel that I owe for something I never received.
No further contact, threats or actions to ruin my credit by Dermaset, Inc_

We email the tracking number, when shipping, to make sure the client tracks its package. When the client contacted us, it was already too late to start an investigation with USPS. However, We would be very happy, in good faith, to replace the product. The client is still responsible to pay $179.00.
USPS states "delivered".
Thank you very much,

I do not feel that I owe $179.00 for merchandise I did not receive. I don't doubt that it was delivered, however no one at this residence received the package. Either, it was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address or removed it from the front door/porch. We live on the corner of a very busy street.
If the person to whom I first spoke with had answered respectfully, I may have considered having them reship the merchandise. As I said before, I do not owe for merchandise which I did not receive. It is weird that when I have called this company, they refuse to let me speak with anyone else. I was very ill at that time and had been since February 25. I was sleeping almost 18 hours a day. Not at one time, but in 3 or 4 hour stretches where I got up, went to the bathroom or let the dogs out, etc. I was hardly even eating. I wasn't strong enough to talk on the phone, use my computer, watch TV, etc.
Sincerely
As stated in our previous response, the USPS tracking shows the product was delivered to the address provided by Ms.. We immediately offered to send her a replacement tube for free, or Mrs. pays half the cost and we stand the loss for half the cost of the product. Both options she refused. The cost of our product is $179.00.
Sincerely,
M.
Do not buy ! I ordered the trial offer , never received it . I emailed them explaining I never received the package they said I did . I told them some that expensive should be signed for ! They offered to let me pay half and if I refused they would bill me the entire amount and turn me into collections if not paid ! My response was , why would I pay for something I never received ?
The product was shipped to the P.O. Box address you provided.
Based on USPS tracking information, the product was delivered to that P.O. Box.
The cost of the product is $179.00
We were willing to either bill you $179.00 and send another product for free, or we stand half the cost of the loss, and you pay 50 percent of the cost of the product. You refused both options.
You are therefore outstanding for the full cost of the delivered product, which is $179.00.
Ordered DermaSet for $4.95. Company charged my account $179. Attempted to resolve. Two months later received a pre-collection request threat.
Ordered DermaSet, Order No. XXXXXX, on 02/25/2018. The billing page indicated a total cost of $4.95. The DermaSet website is misleading to the customer/consumer allowing them to believe they are ordering a trial sample for $4.95. I never received any letter with the product indicating any future costs or any terms and conditions as the company seems to suggest they send with their product. When I received my credit card bill, I saw the company charged my credit card $179 for the "free trial sample" they advertised on their site. They then indicated they were charging my account an additional cost of $143.95 for a new order I never authorized to be shipped. I immediately called DermaSet Customer Support on 04/27/2018 to remove these charges from my credit card. Customer Support acknowledged they would remove both charges. Both charges were removed from my credit card. To my surprise, approximately two months later on 06/25/2018, I received a pre-collection letter stating if I did not remit $179 within two weeks they would forward to a collection agency. I called the DermaSet Collection Department, XXX-XXX-XXXX, which is the same number as their Customer Support, on 06/26/2018 and again on 06/27/2018 in order to resolve this issue. I offered a resolve of charging my account for $25 and returning their product. The DermaSet Collection Department refused to resolve my complaint and instead used the threat of forwarding to a collection agency as a means to receive the $179 fee. If DermaSet was a reputable company they would expose their terms on their billing page under the total billing of $4.95 so the customer/consumer was fully aware of a forthcoming fee of $179.
I would like the DermaSet Collection Department to stop their pre-collection request that my account is past due in the amount of $179.00 and the acknowledgement that if this fee is not paid within (2) two weeks, they will forward to a collection agency.
Ms. placed an order for our 30 day trial of DermaSet on 2/25/18. A trial is not a free sample, nor is that language used anywhere in any of our promotional materials or website. We make it abundantly clear that the $4.95 covers only shipping the product to the customer, and that the trial period lasts 30 days. Ms. received an order confirmation email the moment her order was placed which stated the above, that it was NOT a sample, and had a link to our terms (letter attached). Ms. also received a letter bundled with her product that included an overview of the terms.
DermaSet has excellent customer service, and we have a 60 day return policy for people who miss the end date of their trial. On 3/27/15, Ms. was charged $179. As per our Terms, the accounts are set up for automatic shipments every 60 days, unless the customer calls to cancel. Another order was therefore placed on 04/26/18. Ms. called to cancel this order on 04/27/2018. This was immediately done and she was refunded $143.95.
Our terms sates that if the customer initiates a dispute, they will be responsible for the cost of the product in addition to the dispute fee. Ms. threatened to dispute the $179.00 charge, and that amount was therefore refunded to avoid having to bill her for the dispute fee as well.
Ms. was therefore sent a pre-collections letter in regards to the amount of $179.00, which still remains outstanding and needs to be paid.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The statement from DermaSet is as expected. However, the proof of the company's lack of credibility is as stated in so many complaints to the Revdex.com regarding the misrepresentation of the DermaSet site (written to allow the consumer to believe they will receive a free trial product for only the shipping cost of $4.95) and its billing practices. I offered to send the product back but DermaSet stated they would not accept the return of their product. I was not able to print out or access all pages of their site which I explained to DermaSet. I could print an order confirmation page which clearly states an Order Confirmation Number, a brief description of the product with a total price of $4.95 and the shipping and billing address. Further, I never received any letter or any correspondence bundled with the product that included an overview of the terms as DermaSet claimed they sent with the product. If DermaSet was a reputable company with a good product they would have so many satisfied, repeat customers that they would gladly be more than willing to satisfy the negative complaints. Instead, they choose to spend their time trying to handle all the numerous Revdex.com complaints and forwarding collection agency threats to those customers for payment of a product the customer thought they already paid for with the $4.95 shipping charge.
Dear ***,
Aas we have stated in our previous response we never advertised a free trial - please review our website at www.dermasetskincare.com. We have thousands of satisfied customer so there is no need for misrepresentation. We do not advertise or sell samples. As a matter fact we give you a very expensive product for you to try for 30 days, and all you pay is $4.95 for shipping upfront. We have a sixty days return policy, and unfortunately you contacted us too late to return. We provide excellent customer service and had you contacted us in time we would have happily accepted your return. We are very accomdating and would have been ready to assist you had you called us within the 60 days. We allow you to return the unused portion of our very expensive cream. Again, we apologize that you overlooked our Terms and Conditions which are on our website, on the order page, the order confirmation letter and the letter that was included in your package.
I dispute charge as I never received product. supervisor waived charge, however they sent me collection notice now.
I signed for there offer, however I never saw the terms and conditions. I never received product. I saw my card was charged twice for the product. I called the company and there customer service started verbally fighting with me as they sent products to wrong unit#. I spoke with a supervisor name Ana, who agree to cancel the membership and also offered and charge the 2nd charge back to card. Few days later, I received pre-collection letter for $219.00 including a $80.00 dispute fees. When I called the company, customer service rep, a femal employee kept yelling at me and hang up on me when I asked to speak with supervisor. I called back and spoke Without supervisor Ken, who asked me to fax copy of card statement showing the address and he will look in to it. He called me and stated that I need to speak with Ana who agree to reverse the charge. I spoke with Ana who told me that she agree to reverse that charge to take me off th phone and then collection department started sending letter. I asked her to provide me the proof that we received and signed for the product, however she was unable to. I am requesting that your department can help me with resolving this issue with the company.
I am requesting that since a company supervisor offered and agreed to reverse the charge, they should stop any collection threats.
To whom it may concern,
The client ordered the products from our website and put the wrong apartment number. USPS shows that both products were delivered. We were not aware of customer's mistake. The company, in good faith, wanted to replace both products. The client said that she did not want the replacements. At this time the outstanding balance remains $143.95 without the fees for the 2nd tube.
Sincerely,
M. Sharp
I ORDERED DERMASET TRIAL SIZE PRODUCT ON MARCH 15, 2018 FOR $4.95. ON APRIL 14, 2018, THERE WAS AN UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY AMERICAN EXPRESS.
WHEN I ORDERED THE TRIAL SIZE FOR $4.95, THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT I WOULD BE BILLED FOR AN ADDITIONAL PRODUCT IN THE AMOUNT OF $179.00 WITHOUT BEING NOTIFIED ABOUT THE CHARGE.
I HAVE PLACED A DISPUTE WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS.
NO ONE SHOULD BE CHARGED FOR AN UNAUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF A PRODUCT.
Dear Revdex.com,
We never charged any unauthorized charges. As it states in our Terms and Conditions, we charge only for something that was received. The client received the trial tube and was correctly billed for it, $179.00. We sell an expensive product and let the client see if it works for 30 days. If the product does not work the client sends the empty tube back.
Mrs., called with the tracking number, and in good faith, was issued the refund BEFORE we received the product back.
Sincerely,
M. Sharp

They have credited my account for the full amount of $179. Thank you for helping me.
The billing practices of this company are VERY sketchy! I too ordered the 30 day free trial and was charged $4.95 to my credit card. The same day the company placed a charge on my credit card for $179 as a "pending Charge." When I contacted Dermaset Inc. to cancel the charge and the trial period I was informed that the charge would stay on my card until the trial tube is returned and the 30 day trial period is up... I have not even received it yet as it has only been 3 days since I placed the order. BUT, my credit card will keep the $179 as pending until Dermaset cancels it. UNTIL THAT TIME it shows up against my credit balance on the card until said time Dermaset cancels the charge!! I requested the charge be taken off NOW and advised I contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge. I was told they did not have to take it off if it is disputed. These disputes take time to process up to 2 weeks and unfortunately for me it remains as a charge pending and is deducted from my amount available to use on this card. SADLY, Dermaset does not seem to care about their possible customer's and they certainly are NOT EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH as it APPEARS that they CANNOT RELY ON THEIR PRODUCT BEING GOOD ENOUGH TO BE SOLD ON MERIT... THEY SIMPLY RELY ON SCAMMING PEOPLE BY TAKING MONEY THAT IS NOT RIGHTLY THEIRS... This results in 100's of complaints and lawsuits.
Even if the product is good at best - the fact remains they do not fully divulge how they take your money until you are in it to deep! Good luck if you purchase anything from Dermaset.
Hello ***!
We are sorry for your experience! However, there are some things we would like to point out. First it is important to point out that you were never charged. What you saw on your bank statement is called "pre-authorization". The charge disappears within 48 hours. Any fees caused by the pre-authorization will disappear as well. In addition to that, we sent a proof that we never charged you $179. It's very common for people to shop online without reading the terms and conditions and that is why we created a special letter explaining them. The letter can be found here:
https://dermasetskincare.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/IMG_5599.jpg
On the "Thank you page" everyone can find a video explanation of the trial as well. Here is a link to the video: https://vimeo.com/XXXXXXXXX
We apologize for the negative experience, but we are taking all the necessary steps to inform and educate people about the conditions of our trial offer. In addition to that, you can always purchase the product for the full price on our company website:
https://dermasetskincare.com/en/
You simply scroll all the way down on the page and choose one of the options.
The program is designed for people to try the product and return the empty tube. No company out there is going to offer anything like this to new customers. At this point, all you had to do is use our RMA form on our website https://dermasetskincare.com/en/return/ so your account can be closed.
Thank you for leaving your feedback! We are constantly working on improving the customer service. We are available via chat, phone or email 24/7!
Once again, Dermaset is not presenting the facts regarding their company's billing practices! IT APPEARS FROM THEIR RESPONSE THAT AS A CUSTOMER I AM NOT ABLE TO READ OR COMPREHEND THEIR "TERMS AND CONDITIONS."
Furthermore, I did read the terms and conditions - but I did not receive them UNTIL the order was confirmed by email one day later from the date of the order!
Also, the "pre-authorization" was on a credit card and NOT a bank statement as Dermaset keeps repeating! The confirmation of a void is showing below - as ANYONE can see it does NOT show that it was "Voided" it shows "SUCCESS" for charging my card. Someone at the company DID NOT READ it very well because the amount shown is a success for pre-authorization that they are trying to pass off as a void of the $179.00 to my credit card! NOTICE THE DATE OF THE AUTHORIZATION IS 4/23 AND THE CANCEL DATE IS 4/25/18.
PROOF OF PRE-AUTHORIZATION RELEASE - Sent to me from dermaset copied from their email to me:

Customer Service - DermaSet Hollywood Skin Care (***@dermasetcream.com)
To:you Details
As we have explained, we do have in our Terms and Conditions, that we do pre-authorization. We also released it back on 4/23/2018.
Please see attached proof. Please contact your bank so they can return your money, we are not holding anything.
Your bank should not do a dispute on pre-authorization, the transaction does not exist. They can call me anytime.

The above information was actually sent to me by Dermaset showing that they voided the charge (excuse me - "pre-authorization) of my card...) IT WAS DATED 4/23/18 and I DID NOT CALL TO CANCEL IT UNTIL 4/25/18.
As stated previously my credit card had a HOLD on my funds available from 4/23/18 until 5/2/18 which correct me if I am wrong... but that is more than the 24-48 hour pre authorization that Dermaset advised the $179.00 would be taken off of my credit card!
AND, Dermaset needs to know the meaning of pre-authorization as ANY credit card, bank or other lending institution the practice is that the funds are being held UNTIL the funds are RELEASED or authorized to be paid and are no longer pending. Either way funds are NOT AVAILABLE in the amount of $179.00. This is STILL not being told in the terms and conditions which makes me believe that they think us consumers don't watch our money or credit card charges.
JUST BE TRUTHFUL DERMASET.... as I advised previously, I MAY HAVE purchased your product AND approved the pre-authorization of funds had I been told they were being held from the moment I purchased the $4.95 non-sample, not a free trial or that it was just for postage... LOL! ANYWAY I have sent back your "free tube" without opening the package AND PAID for the return with the RMA No. that you provided! The product that was supposed to cost $4.95 tripled in cost with the return postage!
It would have been money better sent to a charity than to further your bad business practices.
Hello,
Any delay in the release of funds is caused by the bank. We, ourselves do not have your funds during the pre-authorization process. Also keep in mind that the "pre-authorization" measure was forced by the banks. We never wanted to do it on a first place, so we are just trying to stay compliant. Also, if the return cost concerns you, feel free to contact us and we will be taking care of that. The whole issue is really a matter of misunderstanding and we apologize for that.
Please let us know if we can assist you further!
Thank you!
Once again... big yawn as this is just getting old and Dermaset is still misrepresenting their position.
The company keeps referring to funds caused by the bank. I NEVER went thru a bank it was my credit card company. Obviously Dermaset did not have the funds directly - the pre-authorization just put the funds on hold pending the charges to be disbursed at the end of the 30 day trial... as stated in the terms and conditions the funds are to be sent to Dermaset exactly 31 days after receiving the $4.95 for the "tube" of product. BUT THE HOLD IS PUT ON FUNDS THE DAY YOU PURCHASE THE "PACKAGE". THUS the $179.00 is tied up until that 31 day period of time.
COME ON NOW... the bank does not "force you" to put a pre-authorization on people's funds! YOU DO SO to make sure that you have the $179.00 ready and waiting so you can take the funds on day 31. If as you say in your latest Business Comment as stated herein you were forced to do the pre-authorization but you did not want to so you could stay compliant WHY DIDN'T you simply PUT THE AUTHORIZATION IN AFTER THE 30 DAYS?? This would avoid any issues of holding funds by the bank, credit card or other forms of payment. It once again appears that you are just greedy and afraid that more people will turn down the product and ask for a refund earlier. A CHARGE SHOULD ONLY BE DONE AFTER THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN TRIED and NOT BEFORE.
At this point, I really don't want to waste my time making you consider how you in effect take customer's money without advising them first! I have my funds released by my credit card company and you will soon have your RMA number and package back in your possession. My only point is that the Revdex.com should be looking into your practices and not just reviewing your communications because you keep blaming issues on customers, banks and credit card companies and not yourself as a company. Either way you still have a hold on customer's funds for approximately 30 days... unless ladies and gentlemen you fight for your rights Dermaset will continue with business as usual. MY ADVICE to future customer's read the complaints and reviews with the Revdex.com prior to making a purchase with this company!
I am done corresponding with this company as I have much better things to do! Good luck.
AND, thank you Revdex.com for reviewing my complaint to allow other customer's to make a choice before purchasing this product and reviewing their billing practices so their funds are not tied up for such a long period of time - before they make the choice to keep the product or purchase more after the sample, trial or whatever Dermaset is calling it! LOL
I have been continuously harassed by Dermaset's alleged collection people.
In 2016 I filed a complaint against this company for using a rather devious method to lure people into getting a "so called" trial sample for the cost of shipping. I was then charged a lot more than $4.95 on my credit card. Chase Bank even told me they had many people that were calling to have the charges removed. They sent me a second shipment which I tried to send back and they refused the box. I still have the box with the refused mark on it. They just appear to want money from people whether you like their product or not. If they do not stop harassing me, I will contact my attorney and this will be more costly than the money they are trying to rob from me.
I do not want to be contacted anymore by these alleged collection people or the company. I owe them nothing. They can have their product back and try scamming someone else with it.
HOW OUR TRIAL WORKS:
We let people try our products for up to 30 days just by paying shipping and handling. If you don't see any results within the 30 days, you can send the product back and you will not be charged for it.
WHEN WILL I PAY FOR THE PRODUCT?
If you decide to keep the product or whatever is left from it, you will be charged in the amount of $179.
The trial is designed for people to try the product. We realize a lot of companies in the past couple years made a negative impact on people when it came to a trial offer, but we stay behind the quality of our products. That is the only reason we offer our product before the actual payment.
THIS IS NOT A FREE SAMPLE AS STATED IN THE WELCOME LETTER THAT COMES IN WITH EVERY INITIAL PACKAGE.
If you decide to cancel, you can do that at any time within the 30-Day Trial by simply calling us at XXX XXX XXXX or emailing us on ***@dermasetcream.com.
We do not lure anybody, we have our Terms and conditions on our website and the order page and the first email that we sent after your order was placed. We also have our Terms included in the trial package. If you contacted our facility we would have been happy to take care of your account. We were never contacted, but you did two disputes with Chase.
Your account remains outstanding for the amount of $402.95.
Thank you,
M.Sharp
In reference to the manufacturers comment, The box I sent back, that they refused, has brand new product I still have the unopened box with the "hand-written" words REFUSED on it. They are trying to get money from me but I immediately sent them the product and I am certainly not paying them for it. Because of the initial words used in their sales advertising, it appeared that one only needed to pay for the postage on the sample. It truly was unclear. I discarded the remainder of the rotting first item after months (possibly a year) of never hearing from them.
Dear Revdex.com:
We received 2 disputes/charge-backs from the client's bank and were never contacted prior to those disputes. We provide excellent customer service and we would have been happy to assist in anyway had she contacted us. We never got that opportunity. The client called the bank and disputed two charges for products that she received. As it states in our Terms and Conditions, if there are charge-backs initiated by the client, the products are neither returnable nor refundable.
Please see paragraph 7.5 from the Terms and Conditions below:
7.5 If you initiate a dispute or charge-back against Company for a charge, or if an alert of the same is detected, your account will be closed, any refund/return authorization privileges are hereby revoked and your product deemed unacceptable. Upon receipt, your product will be refused and sent back to you. You will be held responsible for any fees that Company incurs from said dispute or charge-back. If you will refuse to pay those charges and fees to DermaSet, you will be refereed to a collection company and at that instance you will be responsible for additional 35% collection company fees.
We did try to collect ourselves but with no luck and on 12/1/2017 the account was refereed to the outside collection agency: Accounts Receivable Collection Agency in Orlando, FL, Tel# XXX-XXX-XXXX
Two years later, the account remains unsettled with an outstanding amount of $402.95.
Sincerely,
M. Sharp
Still deceptive advertising for their products with only the very fine print disclosing that trial requires physical return of product
Only in the fine print does the true nature of the trial take shape with a sting of 179 usd for a basic cosmetic product if it is not physically returned within 30 days. the hassle and exercise of returning the product would be considerably more expensive than the sample itself and it is a approach at odds with subsequent cancellations which merely require a phone call which again increases the likelihood that customer believes a simple phone call would suffice.
Stop the sham marketing and put the conditions of return of product for the trial in far more clear terms of bigger font size.
