Dermiva Skin Care Solutions Reviews (%countItem)

After agreeing to a "free trial, just pay shipping" I was charged $89.95 without my approval or warning.
After receiving the free trial product and only having it for roughly 15 days, the company charged my bank account (checking) an additional $89.95 without my consent which almost caused my account to overwithdrawl. I no longer can find the emails from the company and I only was able to contact customer service by getting lucky and a)finding a number on the product and b) finding a number within the bank charge. There are also multiple complaints from others via the Revdex.com about this company and their practices. Customer service states that I had to respond within 14 days, but that "the product is amazing and you really need to try it for a full 30 days to see the benefits". Initially the CS rep stated she could only put my account on hold for 60 days to allow me "the appropriate time to trial the product". She continued to talk over me, dismiss my concerns financially by trying to sell me on the quality of the product and initially stated there was no need to speak to a supervisor/manager because they would do nothing else different. I persisted/demanding to speak to a manager/supervisor and once she finally said she would connect me to someone, I was disconnected after being on hold for upwards of 3-4 minutes. Customer Service (Emeril was the lady's name) called me back, still no supervisor contact/conversation, and stated they will only refund 35% of the retail price of the product, or $31.48 of the $89.95 I was charged and tells me it could take upwards of 35 business days for a refund. This time frame seems absolutely ridiculous with today's technology. At this point the customer service rep continued to say there was nothing else she could do and still no supervisor was involved.

Desired Outcome

Complete refund of the $89.95 within a reasonable timeframe without getting the run around from customer service.

Thank you so much for issuing a refund. I love your product but can't afford it.

CONSUMER NIGHTMARE!!! Do NOT order this product...complete scam!! I ordered the 30 day "free" product, and was charged $4.95 shipping for one product and $5.95 for another. There was two different dates indicated on my credit card for these charges 2/07/18 and on 2/08/18. On 2/23/18 I was charged $89.95 and another charge on 2/27/18 for 85.95 charges by BDW*PRODERMAMAX for automatic deliveries (that were never requested) on credit card. I immediately called to address these charges and was told various reasons why a full refund was not an option. I contacted their customer service within the 14 days they state on their disclosure. I spoke with customer service representative who wanted more personal information than I was willing to disclose; at this time I completed felt I was going to be VIRTUAL robbed blind. I called my bank to dispute these charges and I then called back because by 3/23/18 and 1/26/18 additional charges had been added. This time, the customer service rep Rose, stated they could only "cancel or close my account." Then placed me on hold for 30 minutes to discuss the charges with another rep. I hung up called back and spoke to a 3rd rep, Sandra, who FINALLY after declining to take the offering of 35% discount, 75% discount, and or her EMPLOYEES' discount, would I settle for less. I was then given a COMPLETE REFUND of these charges, I have numbers to reference the credit ONLY for the most recent charges. This didn't take care of the initial charges and then transferred to the Floor Manager - Xavier, who was NO HELP at all. The company have their employees brainwashed and give them such a scripted answer regarding the initial charges. I am contacting both Revdex.com and blasting them on my social media. This business should be ashamed of themselves - this is why most people are skeptical of ordering online, and make other companies look bad.

I am seeking a full refund due to false advertisement and a money fraud scam.
An advertisement popped up on my phone March 7, 2018 to receive a trial offer of dermiva eye and skin serum. The products were free to try. You only paid for shipping. Upon filling out the customer information, there was no terms and agreement indicated. I noticed two separate charges on my bank debit card on 3/23/18 for the amounts of $85.95 and $89.95. I obtained the phone number listed on my statement and called the company. I was informed that if the product wasn't sent back or membership cancelled, you would be billed the entire amount. They agreed to refund 35% of the charges as a courtesy. I immediately checked their reviews with the Revdex.com and discovered that others had the same experience. I called them back and said I would report the fraudulent charges to my bank and they agreed to refund 75% of the charges. I indicated that I would like a full refund because the product was a trial size, which had been paid for. I asked for an address for the company and was denied that information. I was told to get it the best way I can.

Desired Outcome

Full refund

This is a SCAM. They advertise on Facebook a trial for only the charge of shipping, then after 2 weeks are up they charged my CR Card $89.95
they are scammers and others have the same complaint. They advertise on Facebook a free trial product for the cost of shpg only - after 2 weeks they charged my credit card $89.95 for that sample. Nothing on Facebook said anything about cancelling in 16 days, but when you call them they refer you to their website and say you had to cancel within 16 days. Cancel what, exactly? It is a sample & they will not accept a return. No additional product was received to justify the charge which, by the way, AGAIN included the shpg charges. After much argument they offer a 35% discount - I'm still out $60 for a free trial product. Product does not even work-it is no different than purchasing a cream from local drug store at a fraction of the cost. Seems they offer a small discount to ensure the banks cannot refuse the charges! Disgusting unprofessional morals.

Desired Outcome

Want my full refund of the charges.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Please see other very similar complaints from their clients. First, on facebook there was no clear indication that the "trial" was to be cancancelled. One cancels future orders not a trial.
A trial is a trial is a trial...was is yo be cancelled? A trial product was sent to be tried, no return accepted, so what us to be cancelled. There has never been anything if the sirt..it's a scam to get you to pay full price for a trial pot, and the price us ridiculously high!!! This us not acceptable or legal practice. I had very little choice but accept a discount ; then I ch3vked the reviews and find that there are many similar comainrs, that they offered someone else a 50% discount. If they don't resdolve the issue I will advise Facebook to remove them and post a warning to all future consumers.

Yes, a full refund is appropriate and acceptable. Thank you.

False advertising. The website says you receive a free trial. In fact, you receive a 30 day supply and owe over $80 for the product.
There was no indication that the product was on monthly billing; no indication that the trial period was 14 days. Packaging did not include return information or return address.

Desired Outcome

Amend their advertising to show that you are not receiving a free trial!

Dermiva Skin Care Solutions advertises a trial product for shipping and handling and then after 14 days charges you an enormous amount for the product
I was charged on March 6, 2018 for $5.95 and on March 7, 2018 for $4.95 which I was lead to believe was for shipping on these two trial products. On March 20, 2018, not even 14 days later, I was charged $89.95. This is a scam. I under no circumstances agreed to this. And when I called, they have a 100% no return policy.

Signed up for trial offer but trial not clear about autoship and monthly charges. Would like refund and cancel autoship
I purchased Dermiva Eye Serum and Antiaging Skin Cream as a trial offer on 1/16/2018 for $5.95 and $4.95. There was no fine print I can see about enrolling in an automatic subscription. On 3/5/2018 I was charged $91.90 and on 3/9/2018 I was charged $94.90. I did not see an email that confirmed this payment nor did I get a confirmation that these items were to be shipped. I called my creditor to block my card. I tried contacting the company but there was no answer. Seems this company has scammed many others! Horrible business ethics!

Desired Outcome

I would like my money refunded and will gladly ship back unopened and sealed products. I would also like my subscription canceled.

Ordered 1 product; they sent 2.Called to return subpar product;s they refused. Charged me for two more months on credit card. Awful people.
Ordered free trial of one product: Dermiva Anti-Aging Skin Care. Received that and Eye Cream (didn't order); charged close to $90 apiece. Product made my skin peel. Called to return and was told they don't do that and that "I signed up for this to receive monthly". I said that that is NOT what I signed up for; I signed up for a free trial of one product. Told her to remove me from the list and refund my money. She said they don't refund at all. Then they sent it again and charged up to $91 each for 2 products. I called again and they said that's what I signed up for. Horrible customer service; mean voice, and that they'll keep charging my credit card. I cried.

Desired Outcome

I have been working with my credit card company in a complaint to get refunded and that's in work. It's important for Revdex.com to know of my issue associated with this awful company that lied to public on free trial. Exhorbitant cost of each product. Ridiculous.

Customer Response • Mar 21, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
This company said it was a "free trial" and all we pay is shipping. I ordered only one product, they sent me two, and charged me shipping for two products. 2 weeks later they charge me full price for two products, close to $200 for both. This company advertised to get at least one trial in order to gain charges for full price at least once. I recommend this company be investigated on their procedures of marketing to public. This causes such disdain and ill will. They can easily change their name after getting enough protests and they'll do it again. This product is face lotion and eye cream. My face peeled terribly, which proves that their products are subpar and NOT what they say it is. And to expect people to pay full price after 2 weeks after their free trial is NOT a free trial. Period. I'll never order online again.

ordered the 30 day free product, paid shipping 4.95 for 1 product and 5.95 for another on 2/21/18. on 3/9/18 discovered 85.95 and 89.95 charges for automatic deliveries (that were never requested) on credit card. called to request cancellation on 3/11/18, spoke with Martazia who at first declined any refund. with persistence on my part she then offered 35% discount. we then mentioned contacting Revdex.com at which time she offered 75% discount. after telling her we were reporting to credit card company as fraudulent charges, she placed me on hold. when she returned, she offered full refund, cancellation of future shipments

I signed up for a free trial size of the face cream and the eye cream. I thought I read carefully the terms and conditions, however I was shocked to find a charge over $85.00 on my credit card for a monthly subscription to these products. I never intended that. When I called to complain, their answer politely was tough luck. So I stopped all future payments and plan to tell everyone to stay away from this marketing scam.

Fraudulent advertising
They advertise a "Free Trial" of their product and all you have to pay is shipping. They don't tell you that you are also subscribing for regular shipments and that if you don't cancel your subscription within 14 days, you'll be billed for the product sent.
Ordered the "free trial" on 12/12/17 and was billed for $89.95 on 12/26/17. Disputed it with my credit card company and was told that since I didn't cancel my subscription the charge is justified.

Desired Outcome

I want $89.95 refunded to my credit card as I was deceived into thinking I was actually getting a free trial. I had no intention of ordering any more product...it stinks!

Final Consumer Response /(2000, 7, 2018/03/15) */

Signed up for a trial online and ended up throwing out the product. Just got another shipment so I called to find out why, was charged $372
Fine print apparently read that I would be set up for auto shipment. I would never have agreed to this or paid $186 a month for a product that dries your skin. Told them I didn't even open second shipment or the first eye cream shipment and would be happy to send all back for a refund. Submitting this while on hold for 22 minutes.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund and will send back the products I have received- I want them to stop the March shipment. This was on my husbands card for the trial under $10, we had no idea anything else was being charged. I have read this is happening to several people and needs to be stopped.

Thank you for fixing this, hopefully Dermiva will start to notify customers via email before continuing auto shipments to avoid this confusion for other customers since their trial terms and conditions are not clear. Appreciate your help.

Trial was NOT clear that automatic shipments were authorized!
I ordered a free trial offer of Dermiva Anti Aging Skin Cream and Eye Cream and paid for the shipping only, $4.95 and $5.95 respectively. When accepting this trial, I did NOT see anywhere that I was enrolling in a monthly automatic shipment of both of these items at $90 each per month. I received my trial order and used the products for the first month. I was not impressed and would not order it again. I saw none of the results advertised. Then I received another shipment in the mail of each product. I looked at my credit card statement and at the time I saw no further charges and figured it was a mistake and forgot all about it. Then I went on vacation, and on returning, there was another shipment in my mailbox. Now I was worried. I googled the company and immediately saw that others were having this same issueit was a scam. I immediately called the company and was told that in the fine print, when I accepted the free trial, that I had authorized the recurring monthly shipments. I most definitely did not do that to my knowledge...it must have been very obscure, fine print, or non existent! She offered no proof of this "agreement" and when I tried to find it myself, again it was nonexistent. The woman informed me that they do not accept returns, even though I have 4 brand new unopened sealed bottles of this product that I do not want nor did I order!! My order #XXXXXX was placed 12-12-17 made with my Wells Fargo Visa. This company is definitely a scam and has the worst customer service ever! I cancelled the automatic shipments so hopefully I get no further charges, but I am out $540!!!!! I am so angry!!

Desired Outcome

I want my money back!! I will gladly return the unopened, sealed products.

This company is "scamming" people with their claim of a "free trial". I read the information carefully before ordering. There was nothing indicating a call in 14 days needed to be placed to cancel and automatic shipment of the product at an astonishingly expensive price!!

WARNING!! Do not fall for the scam this company is apparently pulling off on the public!!!

This company is focused on scamming people. I have NEVER had a worse experience with a company.
I ordered the "FREE TRIAL" of a skin care product and agreed to pay the shipping cost of "only $5.00". I didn't receive a confirmation email, so I checked my bank account to confirm it went through and noticed an additional charge of $5.00. I blew it off since it was a small amount, but grew suspicious of the company, so I looked them up and saw that Dermiva is a scam. I quickly emailed them to cancel anything that they may have signed me up for without my knowledge (I have proof of the email and that it was within 14 days!). Two weeks later I saw that the company had charged me close to $200.00 more. I work for a nonprofit, so I don't make a lot of money. Those charges caused me to overdraft my bank account, thus charging me even more. I called the company phone number on the Revdex.com website (because it's not listed anywhere else) and they told me they would only refund me $35. I didn't even knowing agree to these charges- why would I be okay with this?! Also, when I did receive the sample, it was cracked and falling apart. I have never experienced such poor practices in advertising and customer service. Dermiva literally stole my money.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the additional charges of $87.15 and $89.95. I will pay for what I knowingly agreed to, $5.00 for trial shipping, every though the product was broken and falling apart.

Hello,

Thank you for mediating this consumer complaint from our customer, Case Number: XXXXXXXX, ***. Our company strives to make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied, so we take consumer complaints very seriously. Before customers commit to our 14-day trial, our customers have to affirm and acknowledge the terms & conditions of our auto-ship program by marking the T&C check-boxes.

According to our records, customer ordered our Dermiva Skin & Eye products a 14-day trial basis back on 02/06/2018 and paid the shipping and handling fees of $4.95 and $5.95. The trial expired on 02/20/2018 and due to the fact that our customer did not contact us to cancel their trial they were subsequently charged $89.95 just for the Dermiva Skin as the card had declined for the Dermiva Eye ($85.95). This automatically cancelled her recurring monthly subscription.

On 02/22/2018, our fulfillment center received a call from the customer requesting a refund. Our Representative offered a 35% refund but then the customer exclaimed that she would file a complaint with the Revdex.com and hung up before they could provide any sort of refund. Several attempts were made to call the customer back but the customer did not answer her phone. Due to this, no resolution was reached and a refund was not issued.

Below is a refund confirmation for $89.95 for the Dermiva Skin as she was not charged for the Dermiva Eye. Here is the refund confirmation.

02/24/2018 Refunded - $89.95 Trans-ID: XXXXXXXXX

Refunds should reflect on the customer's account within 3 to 7 business days. Please relay this information to our customer and feel free to let us know should you have further questions.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did send in a cancellation email on February 13, 2018. The additional $85.00 I was charged, was not refunded. The company did not contact me several times, as they mentioned in their response. I appreciate that the company refunded me for the $89.95 charge, but that was not the full amount.

Dermiva Skin Care Solutions Response • Mar 08, 2018

According to our records, we do not have record of her being charged for the monthly subscription of the Dermiva Eye, only the trial bottle at $5.95.

Since she was never charged the $85.95, we are unable to refund a transaction never happened.

Thank you.

Cancelled day I received burns my skin. Gal I talked to said many complaints for same reason. They still tried to take money out of my account bank denied it so then they tried to do it again under diff named n said recurring. So I now have a dispute my bank is handling. This company needs to be exposed n shut down

Thank you, Revdex.com, for tracking this shady company. I ordered the free trial, paying only shipping and just received an auto shipment and was charged $94.90. I looked them up online and their website doesn't even have a contact option which is very telling. I then looked them up on your site and was grateful to see contact information. When I spoke with the representative she told me in the 'terms of agreement' it stated that unless they heard back from you within 15 days the product would auto ship. I don't recall checking any terms of agreement box but will be aware of such scams in the future. In terms of the product, I noticed no 'results' and would not have reordered it. Thank you!
