I have attached my receipt from Living Social where I purchased two test, one for myself and one for my daughter. The upgrade was purchased directly with AncestrybyDNA. This letter is in reply to ID [redacted] Customerpurchased a coupon from [redacted] for a DNA test [redacted] coupons to be redeemedon our company's website to allow the DNA sample collection kit to be mailed tothe customer.The customerfirst contacted us via email on October 20,asking for assistance inredeeming her couponWe responded by email on October requesting additionalinformation to allow us to further assist.The customerreplied by email on October stating she had attempted to redeem her couponwith no success, requested a refund, and advised she would be contacting theRevdex.com if she did not hear back from our company the same day.We responded byemail the same day with advice on how to redeem the couponWe also advised, ifshe did not have success redeeming the coupon, she would need to contact [redacted] regarding any refund, as the coupon had not been redeemed and thecoupon was purchased through [redacted] .We did notreceive any reply to our last emailSubsequently, the coupon was successfullyredeemed on October 27, and a DNA sample collection kit was mailed on October28.SincerelyYours, [redacted] Client Service Coordinator

We are very sorry that Ms [redacted] is unhappy with her report We are however a highly accredited laboratory that is required to post results exactly as they are completed, and in this instance our testing produced an inclusion We are more than happy to provide Ms [redacted] a copy of the chain of custody which will show identification collected at her and the alleged father's appointment if she suspects some type of problem in that regards.Best Regards,DDC Client Services

Hello, We are very sorry this client is unhappy with our services However we do charge a fee to store and redistribute reports for our patients In this instance an online copy of the patients report was made available to them, as well as a hard copy mailed This lives up to every expectation set by our website, or anything our representatives would ever state We keep these reports as a courtesy and they do have to be housed, accessed, prepared, and shipped to our patients and their is an expense involved with this We are happy to provide additional copies of this report at our standard rate We are also an Revdex.com accredited business which can be confirmed with the Revdex.com fairly easily.Best Regards,DDC Client Services

We understand the concern regarding the fact that we are not always able to discover viable (testable) dna on all unusual (non-standard) samples we test Unfortunately if we are unable to produce differing profiles from samples received, we are unable to produce a relationship study result We make this very clear with all testing of this type, which we refer to as "viability" testing In this case this patient was advised if a second "unusual (meaning not a standard swab or blood)" sample was required, we would process it for a separate fee This in no way is milking for a fee, as it is much more cost efficient to move to a standard relationship study and receive payment for that service, as opposed to performing a two step process of isolating viable dna from an unusual sample, then proceeding to a paternity test

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The company did not address how the mislead a customer into thinking that the booklet is personal nor do they resolve the matter that the information I received was false I was told they could not test for native American heritage So again I do have that Heritage in my DNA so there is no possibility that I could be 32% Asian and 68$ European because some % makes up for being Native American I did not get what I paid for and should expect a full refund not 50% because my husband too is upset and does not see how he can be 4% African not on person in his family can explain that.After getting these results I looked up a lot of reviews and cannot find a single positive review Others post they did a test somewhere else and got very different results I do not feel this company is practicing ethical habits and are falsifying results I know mine are most definitely false They also need to clearly state the booklet is not about "your" DNA but just a random booklet and again they DO NOT SAY THAT I basically paid for nothing and want all my money back as I still need to use another company so I can actually get my true DNA and the countries that make up my DNA which is what I was lead to believe the booklet would tell me Regards, [redacted]

Hello, These samples were on 11/and report released 11/which is a working turn around This is signifigantly quicker than our advertised 5-business days We have adjusted our website to reflect the 5-working days, we did extend a $refund as a thank you for bringing this to our attention that our site did not say 5-business days a opposed to business daysThank you, [redacted] *

I purchased a AncestrybyDna test kitI know what my ancestry is on both sides, but was curious about any outliersWe are Indian, and IrishSo I pay roughly dollars and get back a DNA analysis that says I am percent EuropeanIs there any group or individual who is anything? it is ludicrousI would not encourage anyone to use this service.We are very sorry that this client is unhappy with our reporting We are at the mercy of the genetic data that is tested and are unable to adjust reporting based on the fact that a clients genetic profile falls into a specific category As we have discussed with this client in the past, the report does include confidence intervals which are established by searching the likelihood calculation and finding the highest and lowest values for each group that fall within the 2-fold likelihood range This client had a confidence intervals for indigenous American, East Asian, and Sub-Saharan African Again while we are sorry that this client is not happy with their reporting, we have to observe the integrity of the testing we do and report the data that is obtained from the samples collected Best Regards,ABD Client Services

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I do not feel this company has resolved this matter by not refunding me my full amount paid. Might I add, I have never used two that were purchased. Those should certainly be refunded. The one I did use was so inaccurate I feel ripped off and should certainly be refunded. To be quite honest I would like to prevent anyone else from being scammed by this company. Their claims are as follows: We compare your DNA profile to every country within your selected region to provide your top country matches. I am someone of Irish , Scottish , Norwegian decent. their lab testing send me back results Asian, Puerto Rican ,South American. If you could see my appearance blond Caucasian, freckled,and pale. It's almost laughable. I have also read countless other people with almost identical results. I highly doubt they use a secure lab to do their testing, rather just computer generated random results .
