I reached out to the executives and management of DNA Diagnostics via mailSeveral individuals were addressed including, MrPeter V***, Jerry W***, Michael B***, and MsKathy L***, in a letter stating the situation as described in the complaintHowever I never received a single response nor apologyThe only acknowledgment I've received on behalf of DDC has been through Revdex.com, after this complaint was submittedAdditionally, I have received no such refund and the attached bank statements reflect the debits totaling the services in full.I understand and can appreciate that delays happen, and the company's first priority is accuracy of the resultsHowever, I had to continuously call the company to follow up, as they never called me to advise that there were issues with test samplesThe call records are attached as wellThe facility which the DNA samples were collected were subpar and my appointment was changed without my knowledgeI was not provided any kind of agreement outlining the payment plan, plan of action for
testing mailed or emailedPlease understand that I made a significant down payment and continued to make monthly payments to a company which did not communicate any progress of the testing process whatsoeverI would have very much appreciated periodic updates that the DNA was successfully received, the testing was underway, and the testing was completedAt the very least, decent customer service with organization, not being transferred times before speaking to an appropriate representative, and dropping the call twice in one conversation would have been very much appreciated.The company has not taken reprehensibility for any of these mistakes and I find it highly insulting

The company, DNA Diagnostics, stated, "Our records indicate that the report was viewed and that emails were sent automatically at the conclusion of testing." I dispute the accuracy of this statement An email may have been sent automatically at the conclusion of testing, but I never received any such e-mail If I had, why did I e-mail them three months after submitting my DNA samples asking about when I would get the results More importantly, I NEVER viewed any report of the results of the DNA tests I paid for Therefore, I am not satisfied with their offer of a refund of only 50% of the amount I paid I still request that I be refunded the full amount that I paid

We are very sorry that Ms*** is unhappy with her report and ordered in error. We are very direct in our advertising so that clients know that we are who we are. We have searched our database for emails from this time frame and are unable to find the email requesting a
refund, but at this point we were already testing in progress so we would have expended the fees required for both shipping and processing her testing. We are more than happy to extend a partial refund of 50% as a courtesy since testing was completed. We just need to confirm the mailing address for the refund check if this agreement is acceptable. We are more than happy to either provide Mr*** his report or a refund. We are however having difficulty locating a file or test with his name on it. Can you please provide a file number, receipt, or other tested party name in order to assist us in finding this

Unfortunately this company not only is irresponsible with Genetic material but also with their accounting recordsPer our many conversations you will clearly see multiple interactions and questions from both parties involvedI was never offered any discount or resolutionIn fact, I was told by a representative that it would be unethical for YOUR company to conduct another testYour written responses are very inconsistent with what is saidI would like for a manager/supervisor to contact me immediatelyIf this issue cannot be resolved I will be contacting a lawyer so we can come to a resolution.

We are very sorry that *** *** has had problems with her testing. We have searched our email for correspondence but are unable to find it. It appears as if the test was completed on March 23rd. If it is still un-accessible to *** *** we are more than happy to send her

Their response was untruthfulThe half siblingship test was an unnecessary and erroneous test to give in my unique situationPer their records they should be able to see that my many concerns with this particular testGenerally, with a half siblingship test there are known controlsSince I am an adoptee that knows it is improbable that we share the same father due to our races we were trying to determine if we shared a common motherI stated numerous times based on our information the best test was the Mitochondrial DNA testMy half sibling is a female and we were trying to determine if we shared common maternal lineageSince our mother is deceased and she had no other relatives(no sister, brother or parent) a simple yes or no would havee sufficeA half siblingship test in the absense of any constant information would be difficult to substantiate a relationshipAlso the limited number of allelles tested to determine the relationship I knew would not provide the results I was looking forDespite my many concerns I was wrongly sold the wrong testYour company admitted it was the wrong test on seperate phone calls. I was offered the option for the lab to run an additional test at no charge on friday March 17, but when I called to receive those results I was told that your company decided not to do yhe additional testsI was also told during the follcall that a supervisor would call back but instead a rep called and said you would not run another test and you would not offer the Mitochondrial DNA test (which was quoted in our earlier call at but then changed to $200)So your response was a complete misrepresentation of what has transpiredAt this point I am very concerned about the integrity of my genetic information being in the possession of an unethical company and will be seeking legal representation regarding this delicate matter.

We are sorry that Mr*** did not agree with his daughters reporting. However, we have not received an order from Mr***, if he has purchased a test voucher through living social, but not yet redeemed it, he will need to contact living social in regards to a refund. We have no

We are happy to speak to Mr*** via telephone to assist him in understanding why two reports are available to him. However this was addressed in our last response:Due to the fact that two parties were tested both are viewable via this account. If you look at the names at the top of the report, they are different. Again we will offer a 50% refund due to the difficulties experienced by this client. And if a phone number is provided will contact him via telephone
