I got a notice in the mail about help with consolidating my student loans and whatnot It had a suspicious "FINAL NOTICE" at the top, which seemed weird since I have never received a previous notice and didn't owe money to them… but I didn't listen to my gut I called and started the application I found it odd the way they handled the call I got transferred from one specialist to the next going through the application process, gave away too much information, and then when I got to the final step; something didn't feel right I questioned it, and cancelled my application I proceeded to receive at least calls in a row from the company I finally answered the last one, asked the guy questions like why they were wanting to charge me $(legitimately) to fill out a form that I could do myself and whatnot He was very smooth, I'll admit, and was pushy I got suckered in to finishing the application They send an email for you to physically sign documents to send back to them I looked up their company in more detail, and found out that similar scams were in existence I don't know why I didn't listen to my gut the first time I called their helpline, and immediately cancelled everything Requested a cancellation notice for proof, and asked to be not called ever again Of course, I received another call from them an hour later I didn't answer it, but I did answer the second one hours later The guy who was walking me through the application was on the line, and seemed pissed (beyond his customer-service voice and rhetoric) He was wondering why I cancelled a second time even though I actually processed the application the last time around I told him it didn't feel right, I was sorry for wasting their time, and to never call me again Unfortunately, I've given them a lot of personal information Hopefully, this is a good teaching lesson for other people and none of this comes back to haunt me

I was trying to find a way to get rid of my student loans or at the very least make things more manageableI was told by a friend of mine to call document preparation center to assist me getting into one of these government programs that allows for forgivenessMy "adviser" [redacted] *I believe that was his name) was extremely nice and very patient with meHe walked me through all the programs that I qualified for and we ended up enrolling into the Income Based Repayment program that is going to allow for forgiveness at the end of the programMy balance is over $60,and my lender wanted over $from me so to get into this program and have a payment that is now $is absolutely amazingI can not thank [redacted] or Document Preparation Center enough for helping me through the whole thing THANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOUTHANK YOU

This is a scam company They send letters that make it look like they are affiliated with the Department of Education They suggest that you are eligible for student loan consolidation/forgiveness, even if you are not They simply want you to pay them $to enroll in a program that will not actually do you any good

I called them to help me with my student loans and they were able to help me consolidate my loans into the Graduated programIt is definitely appreciated and the adviser was pretty informative but the one complaint I have is they sometimes do not get back to you They saved me probably $50,though so epic thank you!!!

This is the most frustrating company to deal with I decided to use them for loan consolidation as they are a convenient and efficient way to get the consolidation taken care of However, after providing them with a credit card they claimed they "ran" the card and it returned a NSF code They contacted me and I provided a second credit card Again, they claimed they"ran" the card and received the same NSF code However, on the day they told me they received the code, I used my credit card with no issues Now I need to provide bank information They need to figure out how to "run" credit cards and stop delaying the consolidation process It is extremely frustrating when I look on my credit card account online and see no such NSF issues yet they claim to have received those codes It feels to me like they NEVER ran the cards, because, if they did, it would have gone through And if a NSF code was created, I would have been notified

First and foremost, when I received my final notice in the mail I was questioning why I haven't been notified prior I spoke with a loan adviser from Docuprep and he informed me it said final notice because legislation can change at any given time and these subsidy programs do not last forever I hung up the phone and called back to the same agent after I fact checked him I've worked with other consolidation companies and they have all given me information That is the only reason I'm leaving a review, because Docuprep has never falsified information during my consolidation and didn't make me feel rushed

The process took longer than I initially expected but they brought payment down to $a month which is obviously amazingThe communication was top notch through the whole consolidation and I never had to worryThe reason it took a bit longer was mainly due to everything they needed for proof of the information that was gathered in the first callI really appreciated their help and wish I could do more than just write a lazy comment I give them an A+ Lol

I initially got a notice in the mail regarding my student loans and I was curious what it was all about so I called themThey told me that I may be eligible for ways to reduce my payments and help alleviate my current financial situation.The adviser took me through the process and he was able to get my into the Income Based Repayment Program with a $payment which is amazing and I am eternally gratefulMy loans were in default and on the verge of wage garnishment so they saved my buttWithout the notice I received I would've never even been aware of ANY of these federal programs so I appreciate the patience and efficiency of docuprep center
