The process took longer than I initially expected but they brought payment down to $0 a month which is obviously amazing. The communication was top notch through the whole consolidation and I never had to worry. The reason it took a bit longer was mainly due to everything they needed for proof of the information that was gathered in the first call. I really appreciated their help and wish I could do more than just write a lazy comment.

This is a scam company. They send letters that make it look like they are affiliated with the Department of Education. They suggest that you are eligible for student loan consolidation/forgiveness, even if you are not. They simply want you to pay them $800 to enroll in a program that will not actually do you any good.

"BE AWARE" I received a very official looking letter from what it appeared to be the US Department of education stating "FINAL NOTICE". I immediately called and the person stated that he will help me consolidate my school loan. I never heard any disclaimer stating they were not affiliated with the Dept of Education. They had all my loan information so I never thought to ask if they were any affiliation. Needless to say they calculated my loan payment based on my income and stated that my monthly loan payment was going to be approximately $148.00. At this point they asked me to pay $1000.00 for closing cost which I paid in two installment. After they received my money, I never heard back from them. I did however receive a notice of payment delinquency from a company called Navient which was stating I was pass due with my school loan payment in the amount a lot more then the loan payment I was quoted from "Certified Document Center". I immediately called Certified Document Center to advice them of the correspondence received from Navient and I was told to disregard the notice that I will be receiving another notice from them with the loan payment amount quoted. Which I never received. Today I called Certified Document Center, spoke to a young lady because I have not received and documentations from Certified document Center, I told her about the last conversation I had with the customer service representative and she basically told me that their was no documentation of the previous call and that the loan was bought by Navient and according to the automated system (I guess she called Navient) I was late paying and I owe for two months. It was out of their hands. I believe this company is preying on people like myself who have incurred an enormous school debt and thought they found relief when actually they are paying for a service they could have done themselves.

I initially got a notice in the mail regarding my student loans and I was curious what it was all about so I called them. They told me that I may be eligible for ways to reduce my payments and help alleviate my current financial situation.The adviser took me through the process and he was able to get my into the Income Based Repayment Program with a $0 payment which is amazing and I am eternally grateful. My loans were in default and on the verge of wage garnishment so they saved my butt. Without the notice I received I would've never even been aware of ANY of these federal programs so I appreciate the patience and efficiency of docuprep center
