United Consumer Financial Services did not send any information about my account such as payment coupons or exactly when the month no interest period endsWhen I called to pay off the account they told me I missed the deadline by a monthThe debt was now more than the original amountI feel that this is a very shady way to conduct businessI will never have anything to do with this company again

I purchased a *** Vacuum Cleaner from *** *** on June 14, At the time of purchase we were in the process of moving into our home Therefore, we had no furniture to demonstrate the product Unbeknowance to me I did not know I only had three days to cancel my contract So after moving into our home I realize we were having money issues and could not afford the vacuum Call the number that was given to me by *** and it is no longer in serviceCustomer service hung up on me and I am beginning to think this is a scam

My complaint about this company is very long and frustratingI called to pay off my account using the SAC optionWhen I called I had my contract handy and realized they gave me a ILLINOIS contract, I have never lived in that stateThe company also had no copy of my contract on file!!! I became irrate at this point because the people at this company seem like scam artists in the way that they work to collect a debt they are not founded and legally able to collectThe company of course had that I was to pay the full amount, a difference of about dollarsI called multiple times because when they said they would call me back the company never followed throughI finally got them to take a payment at the beginning of JULYThe payment information was taken and was to be applied the next dayThe money never came out so I had to call them backAfter being transferred around and many notes being read and placed on my accountA lady finally stated that they hadn't finished the paper

I entered a contract financing a product for monthsThe representative at that time told me that should I pay off the loan early, I was due a refund as stated in the contractI called to determine the pay off amount on April 7, which was one month past the halfway term of the contractI sent a check for the pay off amount plus $just to be sureThe check was cashed and the account closed About days later I called to confirm the account paid off and asked if I would receive a paid in full copy or letter to that effect and a refund as stated in the contract and told me by the representative at the time of the contract signing"Cathy" told me I would not receive a refund so I told her to look at my contract to find the stated early pay off-refund language; she did so but tried to explain that I would not receive a refund as far as she knew but she would look into in and send me a letter explaining the Rule

I paid my account in full payment was completed 4/11/
Auto debt was turn off after account was paid in full but my account was still debited on 4/12/
I received the following note:

I have the original letter from United Consumer Financial Services (www.ucfs.net) stating that $would be deducted from my bank account in monthly payments beginning August 17, Therefore, the last payment would have been on July 17, I received a letter that was dated July 29, that there was a past due amount of $that was due on July 17, however they did indeed withdraw the payment of $from my bank account on that date!! I got another letter the same day that was also dated July 29, that they were "unable to contact me in regards to the delinquent account, and that I am not responding to reminders we have sent youand within a few days we intend to assign your account for special collection action" They have received every payment agreed uponand not payment was late!

I asked the gentleman how could I continue to spend money when they had cleaned out my checking account and my savings account??? Said he would transfer me to a supervisor but no one identified them self to me as the supervisorThen told to reverse the charges at my bank
