UNITED CONSUMER IA SERVICES COMPANY 2/3/2016 Ms. [redacted] Re: Revdex.com complaint No. [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: United Consumer Financial Services (UCFS) has received your Revdex.com complaint. Thank you for bringing...

this issue to United Consumer Financial Services Company's (UCFS) attention so that we may properly assist you. The following is a summary of the activity on your account with UCFS. On November 17, 2015, you signed a Retail Installment Sales Contract (the "Agreement") for the purchase of a consumer product. UCFS financed that purchase, and on November 19, 2015, we verified the terms of the agreement with you. On December 2, 2015, UCFS sent you a letter informing you that the bank account information given at the time of sale to set up EFT (monthly recurring payments) was invalid. You called into UCFS on December 23, 2015, stating you were going to make a payment. On December 31, 2015, we sent you a letter stating your account was past due; we also spoke to you on the same day, and you informed UCFS that you did not have the payment information with you. You stated you would call us back. We did not hear from you again until January 14, 2016, when you informed UCFS that you wanted to cancel and that you had been telling UCFS and the merchant who sold you your consumer product that you wanted to cancel. January 14, 2016 was the first time you told UCFS that you wanted to cancel. We spoke with the merchant who stated they never heard from you for a request to cancel, nor did they receive the written cancellation notice from you. Under the terms of your Agreement, you had until November 20, 2015 to cancel the agreement. At this time, we cannot honor your request to cancel as you had until November 20, 2015 to do so. Your account is currently past due $133.09 (which includes a late fee of $3.25) for your December payment. Please contact our office to setup payment arrangements. If you have any further questions or concerns or need assistance, you can contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-338-6507 or visit our website at ucfs.net. Sincerely, Cheryl B[redacted] Compliance Department

If you spoke with the guy who sold the [redacted] then I know he told you that I did not get all the items. He was suppose to bring the rest of the items the next day but didn't. I have texts messages between us where it says it too.  I will take this higher then Revdex.com now since I really tried proving to you that I got ripped off and yet this company still continues to lie about calls and things that were said. If you have record of all the calls and conversations then you have the call where I called in stating my items were never delivered like they were suppose to and that I no longer wanted it?

[redacted] Re: Revdex.com Complaint No. [redacted] Dear [redacted]: This letter is in response to the Complaint you filed with the Revdex.com. Thank you for bringing this issue to United...

Consumer Financial Services Company's (UCFS) attention so we may properly assist you. As you know, you signed a closed-end, precomputed interest contract on August 14, 2013. The price you agreed to finance was $959.68, inclusive of tax. According to the terms of your contract, you were obligated to pay interest at a rate of 20.77 percent per annum; the total finance charge on your contract, assuming all payments paid as agreed, amounted to $381.62. The total amount you would pay over the course of your contract was $1,341.36. You made your first five scheduled payments in the amount of $37.26 on the 14th of each month beginning 12/14/13 through 3/14/14. On 3/22/14, you made a payment in the amount of $518.55. The effect of this payment on 3/22/14 was to prepay your account until 6/14/15. While interest would continue to accrue during this time because of the outstanding balance on your account, no payments were due during this time because of the prepayment. You were advised on 9/8/14 that EFT payments would not continue until 6/14/15, but that you could make additional ACH payments to pay down your account, partially or in full. You declined. From 3/18/15 until 10/8/15, you made 15 payments of differing amounts at different times of the month. During this time, your account was never past due. As of 10/8/15, your account is prepaid until 7/14/16. You currently have an account balance of $131.51. Please understand that prepaying your account does not eliminate an interest assessment if the balance on the account is not paid in full. Under the terms of your agreement with UCFS, UCFS is entitled to the stated APR so long as a balance exists on your account. I hope this clears up any confusion or frustration. Should you need anything from or have questions for me, please contact me directly at 440-[redacted] or by email at [redacted] Sincerely, Timothy ** S[redacted] Director of Compliance

We sent a refund check to Ms. [redacted] on October 21, 2016.  She should receive the refund check soon, if she has not already received it.  Thank you.

[redacted]to yourRevdex.com Do to the holiday I have not being able to contact the company to finalize the settlement. I agree with the settlement price but I really want them to take back what it was reported in my credit report.  I will be calling the company tomorrow morning and see if we could come up with a final agreement. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I disagree with their response. I feel that I have been over charged. I purchased a vacuum cleaner at $1500 and have since paid $1,463.32. The remaining balance should be $36.68 plus interest of $539.76. I am paying the payment earlier so I believe the interest should be $209.86 for a total balance of $246.54. So I am being over charged $106.22 more.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. All future correspondence will be sent to you via mail. Our communications to you were for the purpose of discussing your account with us. On October 31, 2015, you signed a retail installment sales contract for the purchase of a consumer good (the "Agreement"). You had until November 4, 2015 to cancel this Agreement. Complaint. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention so we may properly assist you. We do apologize that you are having difficulty reaching us. We are experiencing an unusually high volume of calls in light of a busy season for us. Our office is open until midnight, Eastern Standard Time. Typically, if you call our office after 8:00 p.m. (EST), the wait time to speak with a customer service representative is shorter. UCFS sent you an acknowledgment letter in January that provided you with all the necessary information pertaining to UCFS contact information along with your account number. According to our records, you called into UCFS on February 29, 2016 and spoke with a UCFS representative, asking that your account information be emailed to you. On March 1, 2016, you filed a Revdex.com complaint. When we spoke with you on March 4, 2016, you went to our website and paid off your account. A payment book was requested for you in February 2016 please disregard the payment book as your account is now closed with a zero balance. You owe no further obligation with UCFS. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Should you need further assistance, please contact us at 1-800-344-5000. Sincerely, Cheryl B[redacted] Compliance Department
