Rumpke claims that the items that I use to block traffic from my driveway were not stretched across the driveway and that these items were located near the trash cans. I disagree with Rumpke's claim. The purpose of the traffic block is to narrow the space available for vehicles in order to keep other drivers, especially truck drivers, from using my wide driveway to turn around. There is enough space for me to drive my car in and out of the driveway without having to move the traffic block. The traffic block belongs at the bottom of my driveway. On the day of trash pickup, the traffic block items were stretched out across the driveway as they have been every day since September of 2013. I expect to be reimbursed for the cost to replace my traffic block. That cost is $

forward. We could not service your location this week due to weather and road related conditions. To ensure the safety of our drivers and others on the road, we will make those decisions if they feel that they cannot safely maneuver or service your location. This is what happened this week and I am sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you. We hate to lose a long time and loyal customer like yourself, but I recognize and understand your desire to utilize a different provider for your trash collection needs. Rumpke partners with the City of Elsmere for waste and recycling collectionYou may use your own cans/bags or
residents may request Rumpke containers for trash and recyclingYour complaint states we did not collect your recycling contents for multiple weeks and trash was left at the curb
The garbage not collected that included a toilet and box must be scheduled in advanceWe did not collect the contents from the recycling cart because it contains non-recyclable material, which was noted on the sticker left on February 10th by the driver
The driver reported the contents of the Best Way Recycling cart include drywall, scrap metal, pieces of concrete and trashThe contents must be transferred to a Trash cart or bags with maximum weight limit of lbs for curbside collection
Currently, Rumpke can only accept the following items, as part of its Recycling program:
• Plastic bottles, flattened with lids reattached
• Glass bottles and jars (any color)
• Aluminum cans
• Metal cans
• Cardboard
• Paperboard like cereal boxes
• Paper including office paper, newspaper, catalogs and junk mail
We will not service Recycling carts that contain non-recyclable materialsPlease place those items that can’t be recycled in your trash cart or bagsAdditional containers can be obtained from Rumpke, by contacting us at ###-###-#### for details

Rumpke apologizes to the resident for the incident. Mr*** was contacted to further discuss the issue. Mr*** was placing his yard waste material in the recycling container which resulted in non-service. An apology was issued to Mr*** for the lack of
communication to him regarding the proper procedures for pick-up. He was assured his Rumpke waste containers would be removed as soon as possible
