I disagree with the response as the household next store is running a day care and they put out a ungodly amount a trash each week with no problems , I also have a neighbor 3 doors down that runs a roofing business out of there home and the same with tons of trash each week with no problems. I'm single and live alone all I expect is my garbage picked up in a timely manner as I pay on time. Rumke said they didn't pick up my recycle because there was things in it, they didn't even stop and look they drove right by I was outside watching in dis·be·lief.
Thank you,

Ref: Revdex.com Complaint [redacted]
Dear Mr. [redacted],
Thank you for communicating your concerns with us regarding issues related to your Rumpke Trash Service.
Until your voicemail message...

of 1/22/16, we were unaware you were having difficulty with the on-line payment system. You enrolled in the on-line payment system on 5/28/14 and on-line payments were consistent through 8/28/2015. Your voicemail message also alerted us that the leased trash cart was damaged; however, the account status was inactive at the time of the voicemail.
When the service was started on 12/18/13 a cart was requested and delivered on 12/28/13. The contracted monthly rental rate for a 95gallon trash cart is $3.75. Service remained active until it was interrupted for non-payment of the Oct-Dec invoice on 01/01/16 and trash cart removed on 1/29/16.
We have a record of Alisha Hesler, church secretary, calling on your behalf on 1/22/16, instructing us to close the account in your name and set up another in her name. She mentioned a church was in process of purchasing the residence. During the call, she mentioned you were having difficulty with the payment and although she was not prepared to pay the outstanding balance, your Mother would contact us to take care of the $46.50, for service you received in Oct-Dec 2015. This payment was received on 03/02/16 by check # 757.
Your account balance is $0 (zero) after the payment for Oct-Dec 2015 and a credit will not be issued for payment of services rendered.
Should you have any other questions, please contact us at ###-###-####.
Regards,

It is unfortunate that this "business" has become known for it's distasteful practices in the area. It is a shame that they would overcharge, not do their job, refuse to pick up their can 2 years prior, and even allow themselves to be destructive to our can. Not only have they shown their lack of interest but they have also made it very apparent that the customers (and our concerns) are of zero importance to them. A partial refund for their mishap, an attempt to make the mishandling of trash AND equipment right, and a SINCERE apology was certainly in order and definitely NOT too much to ask. Then again, when a business refuses to care about their customers, asking for anything to be made right, in their eyes, would be far too much.

[redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],   We are in receipt of your complaint to the Revdex.com regarding your Rumpke recycling service and appreciate you notifying us of the issue and allowing us the opportunity to make necessary adjustments.    The manager of the Rumpke recycling division spoke with the driver and has taken steps to ensure your recycling materials will be collected on a consistent schedule going forward.    Earlier this month a Rumpke recycling cart was delivered to your residence.  The Rumpke Recycling Manager has issued credit in the amount of $31.72 to your account that includes three months of service at no charge in addition to your original payment. Your next invoice will be for service from September through August of 2017 at the contracted rate of $5.93 per month.   I am sorry that we disappointed you in the past, but look forward to the opportunity to serve you moving forward.   Should you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.     Sincerely,   [redacted] Manager, Customer Services Rumpke – Southeast Market ###-###-#### [redacted]

Rumpke appreciates the opportunity to respond and reach a resolution.   As of today, October 28th, a settlement has been reached with the claimant. Although Rumpke attempts to settle claims as promptly as possible, there was a delay in determining the fair market value of the vehicle....

Rumpke apologizes for any inconvenience the delay may have caused.

October 4, 2016     Revdex.com Attn.:  Ms. [redacted] 1 E Fourth Street, Suite 600 Cincinnati, Ohio 45202   RE:  Ms. [redacted] Complaint Number:  [redacted]     To Whom it May Concern, This letter is in reference to Complaint Number...

[redacted] from Ms. [redacted] regarding her dumpster in a bag – also known as the “Bagster.” The Bagster is a Waste Management product that is sold at local home improvement stores with the intention of being a single use product to use in place of an open top dumpster. The bag - and its contents - is typically removed from a site with a hook truck. Unfortunately, Waste Management doesn’t offer the collection service everywhere the bag is sold.  Ms. [redacted] contacted Rumpke regarding our Haul-it-Away program on Sept. 8 to assist with yard waste removal for items she placed in the Bagster. Ms. [redacted] was advised that the items would be removed by hand by our team, as the bag would be too heavy to lift. The bag, which is marketed as disposable, per the Waste Management and Home Depot websites, was also removed by our team. The team noted that the bag was ripped because of the branches. We apologize for any confusion this has caused. Please contact me directly should you need additional information. Sincerely,   [redacted] Customer Service Manager [redacted]

We understand that Ms. [redacted] does not feel her trash was serviced in July, so we have decided to issue credit per her request for service that was billed for July. The credit that was issued was -$22.02 and the remaining balance for June's invoice will be due to Rumpke in the amount of $22.11. This remaining balance is due to Rumpke immediately. The balance due is $22.11 for service that was provided to Ms. [redacted]'s residential home in June in the amount of $22.11.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First and foremost the customers in Xenia are paying for a SERVICE that may at times not be used, but when there is more use than normal we are expected to PAY extra? I pay for my phone service but don't use it every minute of every day. When I do make more calls than normal I am not charged EXTRA for the same service. So out of 52 weeks in a year several weeks are missed, DO I GET A REFUND? Do I get charged based on the ACTUAL VOLUME OF TRASH? No, is the answer to both questions, which is why a customer should NOT be penalized if occasionally there is extra trash for pickup!!!And since MY trash can has been used for at least 10 years for trash pickup I see NO reason why it could NOT be used IF there is extra trash on the bulk pickup week, especially since they do not appear to be using the trucks that the drivers do not have to get out of to pick up the trash. Otherwise they should provide ANOTHER TRASH CAN WITHOUT additional charges.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Mr. [redacted],
At this time a refund will not be issued. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss further.
Sincerely,

It is both outlandish and disappointing to read the manipulative response made by the business. The accusation that only one voicemail was left and that there were no problems until the beginning of this year is a complete lie. I have proof and I offered the proof but it is obvious that, since they have a monopoly on the trash service here in [redacted], they are not concerned about customers or about proper business practices. Also, the conversation that she had with the other person was stretched as well. Thing is, RUMPKE needs to take CAUTION in further accusations because we DO have proof involving our problems and THEIR horrible actions. A family member may have paid them but I absolutely refuse to pay for service that WAS NOT RENDERED. Also, the service was not asked to be "restarted for me" by the person who called either, rather she was explaining that we had problems with their system and that they did not make things right therefore I refused to pay for service that was not rendered. It has been made very apparent that Rumpke has dishonest practices and the people need to know!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  This date is July 8th, which is the date that the business stated I should receive my refund, however, I did not receive it as of today, and my mail has already been delivered. As requested in the company's response to the complaint, I contacted the Customer Service Manager, Jennifer S[redacted] at 2:02 PM and left her a voice mail. Waiting on her return call for resolution.

Concern,

I am writing in response

Supervisor has indicated that the driver did not remove the cans.  Typically, Rumpke does not dispose of trash
cans unless requested to.  However, I
have reached out to Mr. [redacted] to find out what kind of cans he has been
utilizing to determine the reason the cans may have gone missing.

I hope to resolve this
matter with Mr. [redacted] once this information has been received.
