The customer received the requested refund prior to the complaint and the *** *** spoke with the customer as well

The customer rented a vehicle from us for a total of daysShe signed to accept all of the additional coverage that we offerThe employee also wrote on the contract how much it would cost her out of pocket per day so there was no confusionDuring the rental the customer came in to trade into a
different vehicleAt that point we printed out another copy of the contract and had her resign itAgain her cost was reviewed with her and again she signed for itAt the end she said she didn't want to pay for anythingThe location spoke with her directly but couldn't come to a resolution and the customer claimed she didn't understand. I spoke with her on the phone after that to find a resolution and she told me that she knew she signed for everything but couldn't afford itHer total bill was just over $We ended up charging her $which she agreed was more than fair

I have spoke to the customer and apparently there was a misunderstanding of what she was anitialing, so I have refunded the customer her full charge

I left the customer a message with my cell phoneWhenever I do speak with hare just going to take care of the charges for her

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Everything regarding the response is a complete lie. I did not return the car with the bumper torn off. I declear under the penalty of purgery that the car was returned in the same condition towhich I received it. I also declear under the penalty of purgery that I watched two employees pop the bumper in and out of place. I couldn't see what the female employee was doing exactly but when I went outside with the Two employees, the bumper was popped out of place. I would never return a rental car back with damages, especially damages that is noticeable and say I didn't cause it. I have full coverage insurance why bother. The female employee admitted that she pulled on the bumper because "it looked unleveled".  I'm not stupid, I know what I saw them do.  Make the employees take a lie detector test and I promise you they will fail. I'm willing to take one and pay for all of us to have one to prove my case. Once again, I was not in any kind of accident nor was I driving in any conditions where the bumper would be poped out. There where no scratches on the bumper (unless they made the car appeared to be hit to try to prove this bogus claim, after the fact). The picture I have look like the car was held together with some type of weak adhesive, which is why is was so easy for the female employee and the [redacted] to pull on it so it would pop out of place. Their behavior leads me to believe that they knew the car was damage prior to renting it to me, which is why I beleive the damages are preexisting. I've been renting cars from Enterprise since 2001, and I have never witness enterprise employees act the way they did. Did this so call [redacted] from the cooperate office look into the last few customers who rented the car before I did to see if they may have been in a accident they could have caused the damage? I'm sure the answer is no. Did the last few customers rent the car using Enterprise insurance where the could have put any damage on the car and not have to worry about it and if so, did they fix whatever damage they may have cause? I'm sure the answer to this question is no because they don't want to loose money from renting the car.

We understand that the renter has denied our response, but our records do not show this damage to be previous and the renter signed a contract agreeing that the car was rented to him with no damage. Furthermore, the damage is very large, appears fresh, and is not something that would be considered normal wear and tear. Unless the renter can provide some proof to show this damage was previous, we will need to adhere to our original response, that our investigation of the matter shows the renter is responsible.  [redacted]

I spoke to [redacted] and made her aware that she would need to make a payment for her last rental that was a force charge in order for us to remove her off the DNR list. [redacted] still was not happy that she was on the DNR list and I asked her if she would like to make a payment for her last...

rental today and I would then get her removed. She feels that she should not have to pay because this was from a year ago. I made her aware again that without payment unfortunately I would not be able to remove her from do not rent list.

This claim has been closed and a letter had been mailed to the renter advising that this claim has been closed.

Okay I signed for the car because I had a trip coming up.that was arranged and set up. I had no choice and it's not like I could just get off. But if you play back my phone conversation you will hear on multiple occasions [redacted] employees say on my account the fee was waived do to [redacted]s mess up, on booking my reservation. I also signed because an employee stated once the car is returned I would get that fee back. Just play back the recording you'll hear the employee and there's the evidence. I wouldn't be wasting my time fighting this for nothing. I have witnesses to the phone conversation.

My name is Matthew M[redacted], Area Rental Manager with Enterprise Holdings.  This concern was handled a few weeks ago.  I spoke with the renter and refunded the time in question as our location told them they could drop off anywhere and anytime that day.  Furthermore, I spoke with the...

management at the location and addressed the attitude issue and handled it in-house.

I spoke with [redacted] and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. He told me the money was already refunded. I also gave him my information so on his next rental I will give him a discount. He appreciated my call and will save my info for a future rental

Good afternoon [redacted],Please note that two refunds were issued to the customer’s MasterCard on 5/**/17 and 6/**/17 (invoice attached).Thank you,Wendy

I spoke with the customer and went through her bill and her charges with her. I explained that we did do a refund on her credit card on 11/** for 344.05 and she confirmed she did receive that. I did not see another charge on her credit card from enterprise for $84.00. I asked her to please call her...

bank and send me the information to show the extra charge that I do not see on my end and I would be more than happy to refund her asap for any excess charges. She appreciated that I called and is contacting her bank to send me the proof of the charge.

The $61.00 has been refunded today and you will see it within 24-48 hours. sorry for  the confusion?

in This complaint has nothing do about a bill. so therefore lets get the facts correct. they say they been trying to contact me several times,(which is a lie) if they tried several times then how was they getting money orders from me, secondly how did they know I called about the car not being legal due to expired registration hint the fact when I called them to let them know about it, they say they have no cars on the lot and they will call to let me know. yes I have called about the satalite service and once again they said it activated which bever worked at all.I even called thier [redacted] number to see why and they even said must be something wrong with the equipment. they say I didnt want to come in to switch a car another lie due to I only called them several times about it and all they kept saying there no cars on the lot due to a recall on several cars they had to bring in. they say I wa sin office on the [redacted] yes to make a payment but hince the car was not expired at the time. the car had expired on the ** which is the day I called and on the 2 and on the 5 and several times. the pint is on friday the [redacted] thier sales rep calls me asking if I was coming in to make a payment I said yes im bringing in 350 and whatever is left can they take it out on monday and the rep name dan said yes that be no problem cuz I was a long term renter and not even 5 minutes down the road I get there I gave him 350.00 in a money order and then he says (oh u cant have the car now due to you now owe 180.00,) another lie which was told by this company.now if a deposit is already there no reason for more depoists to be taken from any customer. if you re read thier response they dont even make any kind of sense, I know they going to try to beat this complaint and thats ok. its called bad business and all they want is peoples money. hince also why when you make a formal complaint to the company, they dont contact thier customers until a week later which they still havent tried to contact me to resolve this matter. another point is hince they say first week I was behind mmmm so I gave a deposit and a payment of 184.00 and im already behind lol umm ok.

[Your Answer Here]
My credit card company told me I am no longer reaponsible. They stated to me that enterprise is at fault for not reaching out to me when the dispute was filed. The credit card company stated they have notes in their system that the billing department reached out to them and told them I am not responsible. It angers me that I have to put up with this and it angers me even more that the person who responded to this complaint is the same person I was trying reach out to since September [redacted]. It took this complaint being written for them to reach out. Not only that, but the people I've spoken to have been unprofessional and that is very frustrating. I also feel as though I have been lied to because of the fact I was given a rental in November due to an accident but then in August I was given an issue. If my credit card company needs to reach out then I will put to them and have them do so. This is very frustrating and I don't appreciate it.

optional insurances that you chose to go with according to your contract.  if you need another copy of the itemized receipt you can retrieve one at enterprise.com. Thank you so much.
