the coverage's on their previous contracts at this...

location.  The person
that is disputing the coverage's for this contract was not present when this
car was rented nor were they listed on the contract.  It is our
decision to honor the contract that our customer signed for and not waive the
fee's as requested by this 3rd party.

I am rejecting this response because:I have been receiving multiple harassing phone calls from Enterprise. Today I answered one of the calls and spoke with a condescending and rude person who said my rental was "between [redacted] and Enterprise and not my concern". It is my concern as an [redacted] policy holder and all we went through. No apology, nothing. I am a [redacted] led and without words amazed at our horrible experience and waste of valuable time with Enterprise. Please reimburse me for lost wages and emotional distress this has caused us.[redacted] [redacted]

On behalf of Enterprise Car Sales, we are sorry to hear that you have encountered problems with the [redacted] cargo van you purchased July 19, 2016. Prior to your purchase, the van did go thru a certification process which a mechanic inspected the vehicle and regular maintenance was performed....

No problems with the steering or body were noted during the inspection. Depending on the current mileage of your vehicle, it appears the 12 month / 12,000 mile limited powertrain warranty may be still in effect. If so, you can file a claim to determine if there is coverage. If you need assistance in submitting a claim or obtaining a service covered by this powertrain limited warranty please call [redacted].Additionally, we do accept trade-ins and will gladly appraise your [redacted] cargo van to offer you the current value based on the current mileage and condition.We had no knowledge of any prior accident or damage to your vehicle and deny any claim of wrongdoing by Enterprise. As mentioned in your statement, [redacted] began reporting an accident in December of 2016 which was 5 months after your purchase date. The accident, as reported by [redacted], is to have occurred in 2013 and Enterprise was not in control or possession of the vehicle at that time.[redacted] [redacted]

The complaint that the customer has filed against us has been addressed with the customer and resolved. We have refunded the customer in full and customer is grateful for this. Thank you for your help with this matter.

I would like to Thank You for the feedback so that we can take this back to the team for training purposes. A refund of $375 will be processed as the agreed upon request.

I feel they owe  me a couple days of a free rental after what they put me through. I've worked with them for over 20 years and they never treated me like that before. Enterprise has made lots of money from me over the years!

After further review with the customer, the claim has been closed.

Spoke
with customer.  She did not realize that she didn't park at Enterprise and
said that was obviously a huge error on her part. ...

She said she does not
deserve anything to be taken off the bill and apologized.  However, she
did ask me to do whatever I could do for her.  I was driving, so I let her
know I would text her tomorrow when I had her bill in my hand.  She works
nights and said when she's not working she is sleeping.  She asked that I
text her and she will text back with what time she can talk, but doesn't want
me to call or I'll wake her up during the day.  She said worst case
scenario we may have to talk on Saturday or Sunday if she's not able to
tomorrow or Friday.
 
Once
I look at her bill and what we had to pay out to get her car out of the parking
structure, I'll see what I can do for her for customer satisfaction.  She
said anything helps.

This
situation was mostly handled yesterday when they called in to the branch. The
additional charges were from citations because they kept...

parking in a handicap
spot for the month they had it, which racked up the bill to $620.00. [redacted]
Morse at EM was able to get an invoice of that for them, and they understand
now why that was charged. Today we are getting the invoice for the Tow Yard
(once they open) for her so she can submit that to her insurance
company. Yesterday, [redacted] provided her the number to the DRU and the DX
number so she can send that to her insurance company as well. She is glad
we are assisting her with all of this.
I will
also do a follow up call after we send the invoice to make sure she
got it and see if there was anything else she needed from us.

I attempted to call this
customer twice today with no luck.  They also do not have a voicemail for
the phone # below.
So I sent him an email with my
number so he may contact me .  I’ll let you know when/if I hear anything
on this.

As long as you have the same account number and just a new credit card number the amount is still refunded to the account. You can call your bank with the reference number to verify the funds have been deposited.

The response given enabled me to get the $50 owed to me. No other phone calls were received other than by the accounting department.
I don't believe it good business practice to ignore voice mails and phone calls, but I will forgo that.

I disagree with the business because no one apologized for the conditions of that rental that was given to me! As I stated in my complaint my son birthday celebration was ruined because there was a hold on my card for the rental that I took back within a hour or two of picking it up! I choose not to rent from Enterprise anymore due to the fact that they do not care about customers that spend a lot of money with their company!!!

I
just got off of the phone with the customer.  She back charged the entire
amount and I explained to her that she did that.  She said...

that she is OK
paying the actual rental portion of the vehicle and I agreed that she can pay
$349.88.  She agreed to have the protection waived which leaves her with
the balance stated of $349.88.
Customer
will be in tomorrow to pay off the balance.

They have been giving me the run around about my 200 dollar deposit and I have not heard anything back. Not even the manager will call me back. They keep telling me it's sent or its sent to wrong address and will not resolve this.
