Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My tenant has requested a reversal of the transactionI would like to know if that reversal has occurred from erentpayment/ [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Asking my tenant to file forms with their bank is not a satisfactory resolution for several reasons:1) The tenant already paid their rent, hence their obligation to me is satisfied The money went missing after the tenant paid.2) Asking the tenants to pursue the matter is like asking a stranger to repair my car free of chargeWHY would they do it? They paid their rent, their obligation is finished3) Since the tenant is not "late" and has paid the rent for that month, they are very unlikely to file the forms with their bank.3) If the tenant were to file the forms, how would I know? How would I get the funds? It seems like any "refund/funds reversal" would be made to the tenant by their bank, which is unlikely, but still would not put the rental funds into my account.4) Should the tenant receive a refund/reversal of the payment they made; they would have their money back, but I still don't have the rent and no way to "enforce" that the tenant turns said refund over to me, the rightful owner of the money.4) My relationship was with ERent, not the other entities they are blaming for the problemI do not "know" the other parties and banks involved and therefore, I have no recourse in the matter except to pursue ERent, who was entrusted with getting the funds into my bank account.Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It does not replace the money that I am owed

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did not do business with any of the companies mentioned in the responseI did business with eRentPayment who have an obligation to foresee such events if true and take precautions to protect their customersNot only they did not but their initial response/excuse to inquiries was totally diffetentThey are responsible and liable for all damages o their customers [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This company has failed to follow through on all there previous promises I wish to have the insurance information related to this claim to verify their response Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: we still have NOT been paid the $erentpayment.com took out of my tenant's bank account for October rent Erentpayment.com had the transaction processed by a third party They are responsible for the funds They are trying to put this problem on the landlords and tenants Also the company continues to ignore emails and phone calls Refer to news articles (google "erentpayment.com" and click "news" refer to the several news articles that outlines this issue) We will not be satisfied until erentpayment completes the transaction and deposits the $I am owed IF their third party filed for bankruptcy that's on erentpayment, NOT the tenant, to figure this out Our expected outcome is for erentpayment.com to deposit the $of funds they took from the tenant that have NOT been paid to the landlord Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: erentpayment or businesses that erentpayment used did not process money in a timely fashionThey did not respond to emails, phone calls and letters in a timely fashionThey continue to solicit new business as if nothing happened.Because of negligence on their part I am was not paid the money owed to meI closed my bank account and had to open a new one because erentpayment did not fulfill their obligation to me and my tenantI could not sleep at night knowing erentpayment had access to my bank infoWould they sell it? Would they continue to deduct fees from my account even though money due to me was not paid? My tenant had to take time out of their day to request that THEIR OWN MONEY be returned to them because erentpayment did not act in a professional and legal manner.Erentpayment continues to solicit new business.Even now, I cannot delete my account from erentpayment Regards, [redacted]

Problem: eRentPayment received $as rent payment from my tenant on Oct They have not deposited this amount in my account as of Dec I am the landlord and had been using their rent collection service for about six months for this propertyThey have failed to respond to my phone calls or emailPlease help me collect this amountThanks! Desired Outcome: Pay me the $for rent collected with late fees

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I remain unpaid as of today's date and now it is quite apparent that the October Erentpayment debacle has not been addressed with integrity or required compensation Erentpayment has not paid the rental funds deposited by my resident in October, 2017, and that is what is required Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the company handled this issue extremely poorly and has done nothing to help its customers get their money backThey were secretive and not at all forthcoming throughout the whole process Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:eRentPayment knew that there was a problem before my tenant's rent payment was submitted They should have alerted me of this known problem and then I would have had my tenant pay their rent using another method eRentPayment never sent correspondence to me about this problem for WEEKS I only found out about it by chance on Facebook Once I did, they would not answer the phone or respond to email They are not taking any responsibility for the problem Yes, they have apologized, that isn't enoughMy financial loss could have been avoided if they had been truthful and up front about this problem As of yet, my tenant has not been able to have their rent payment returned to they by their bank Regards, [redacted]

Our legal team is working with the [redacted] bankruptcy trustee to recover funds We will provide an update to our customers as we receive updates from the case

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because it does not resolve the issue Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never entered into a business relationship with erentpayment's processors, banks, or any other third party entities I did business with erentpayment and that business relationship consisted of processing payments for my tenants My tenants paid their rent, and erentpayment has not passed it on to me yet -- I frankly could care less what their reason is, they have $1,of my money that they owe me Moreover, my tenant did exactly what they suggested and went to the bank and requested that it be reversed, but the bank told her "payment went thru, we can't reverse it" eRentPayment claims they are insured, they should file a claim with their insurance company and pay me the money they owe me This is fraud Regards, [redacted] ***

A separate company which was handling payment processing for eRentPayment, [redacted] , has filed for bankruptcy protectionWe have been told this occurred because [redacted] ’s processor [redacted] placed a hold on its funds as a result of deficits incurred by other clients of [redacted] , not eRentPayment.comThis created a cascade effect that caused some eRentPayment users’ funds to get held in a pending status with [redacted] Unfortunately, designated recipients of the funds have not received paymentThe transactions potentially affected were only those submitted after approximately 7:31:PM (PST) 10/03/through approximately 7:01:PM (PST) 10/12/2017.We are coordinating with multiple entities, including attorneys general in several states, to try and rectify the situation for landlords and tenants whose transactions between 10/–10/12/were impacted Because we don't know how the held funds will be handled through [redacted] ’s bankruptcy proceedings, the best course of action right now is for tenants to dispute the debit against his or her bank account with the bankWe’ve set up an online resource center with updates and support in filing that claim: https://support.erentpayment.com/kb/c16/october-deposit-issue.aspx

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I shouldn't be expected to depend on tenants be willing to voluntarily work with their banks to get the money returned and then faithfully pay the money to me What about tenants who are being evicted? This would not be possible for them The money should be made to landlords an easier way Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:No where in the Terms of Use does it mention another party ( [redacted] / [redacted] ) handling the money Landlords/Tenants signed on with Erentpayment and no other companies The business was not upfront with how it was structured and has now put the onus on Landlords/Tenants to fight with their banks in order to recoup the money The company should have reserves or insurance in order to remedy the situation but have instead deflected the responsibility Finally, the shut down of communication and lack of transparency throughout this issue by Erentpayment is concerning Regards, [redacted]
