I am rejecting this response because: This is simply a cut and pated message this company had posted on its website.Since this eRentpayment has continued to make threats and attempted to take money from my bank account without authorization. I have since filed a fraud report and blocked the transitions. There is a small balance that is due to eRentpayment and I have tried to contact them to arrange to send them a check AFTER they close and delete all of my renters and my accounts from their systems.  At this time they have disabled that function from their system and are still not answering their customer service phone numbers.I will not proceed until I am assured in writing that they will do this.

I am rejecting this response because:I had a business relationship with your company only, and Not with your other business associates,  your company should be responsible for your clients losses, but instead you act like it has nothing to do with you?? This feels like Scam!!! Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The erentpayment.com website says they are fully insured and portected and they obviously are not. The company that erentpayment.com hired and used was unknown to the users of their service. The fact they went bankrupt and we are told it is someone else's problem should be criminal. I hired erentpayment.com to do ONE thing and they took my money, charged me for the service, and I never received payment. They now claim it is the customer's responsibility to recover the money erentpayment.com took from the clients. More than a month after my renters paid I still do not have my money. Erentpayment.com should be responsible for this money.I want to know who their insurance company is that I was told as a customer they had. Their should be plans in place and insurance for this type of event. Erentpayment.com should be the one responsible for recoverying the money THEY lost. I paid them to steal my money.

I am rejecting this response because: the $750 that was removed from my tenant's checking account was never deposited into my account (landlord).  The funds remained held by erentpayment.com.  The desired resolution is for erentpayment.com to deposit the funds in my account.   The funds have been held for going on two months now.

I am rejecting this response because:My business arrangement is with eRentpayment.com, not any 3rd party they choose to use. While it's unfortunate that they have had some issues with the processor they chose to use for their business, that is not my problem. They need to work that out with them which has nothing to do with me. eRentpayment is the one that owes me $1,550 because I use them to process my monthly rent payments. They are placing the blame on the 3rd party processor and not taking any responsibility themselves. That would be the equivalent of me telling my tenants that even though they made the payment through the payment system I gave them, they still owe me the rent because I never got it from the 3rd party I use. That doesn't make sense and it's not right. I have worked in corporate finance for over 10 years and I'm very familiar with the operations of a business. I have outsourced services for various activities in my career and the risk of doing that is on the organization, not the customer. eRentpayment needs to pay me the money that they owe me and they can figure out how they are going to remedy the situation with their payment processor on their own time.Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:No where in the Terms of Use does it mention another party ([redacted]) handling the money.  Landlords/Tenants signed on with Erentpayment and no other companies.   The business was not upfront with how it was structured and has now put the onus on Landlords/Tenants to fight with their banks in order to recoup the money.  The company should have reserves or insurance in order to remedy the situation but have instead deflected the responsibility.  Finally, the shut down of communication and lack of transparency throughout this issue by Erentpayment is concerning.

A separate company which was handling payment processing for eRentPayment, [redacted], has filed for bankruptcy protection. We have been told this occurred because [redacted]’s processor [redacted] placed a hold on its funds as a result of deficits incurred by other clients of [redacted], not...

eRentPayment.com. This created a cascade effect that caused some eRentPayment users’ funds to get held in a pending status with [redacted]. Unfortunately, designated recipients of the funds have not received payment. The transactions potentially affected were only those submitted after approximately 7:31:00 PM (PST) 10/03/2017 through approximately 7:01:33 PM (PST) 10/12/2017.We are coordinating with multiple entities, including attorneys general in several states, to try and rectify the situation for landlords and tenants whose transactions between 10/4 –10/12/17 were impacted.  Because we don't know how the held funds will be handled through [redacted]’s bankruptcy proceedings, the best course of action right now is for tenants to dispute the debit against his or her bank account with the bank. We’ve set up an online resource center with updates and support in filing that claim: https://support.erentpayment.com/kb/c16/october-deposit-issue.aspx

I am rejecting this response because: telling me you're working with legal counsel and insurance is not helpful.  Who is the insurance provider and when do you expect to provide the money you took from me?  If you think this response is sufficient, you deserve to go out of business.

I am rejecting this response because: Erentpayment.com is alleging that: 1) a third party is holding the funds, 2) erent beleives it has no reponsibility outside of the third party to pay me.  This is incorrect.  1. Erentpayment is lying.  There is no proof that erentpayment did not actually receive the funds in this transaction on or about 10/4/17. Erent is alleging that a third party kept the funds, but have shown no proof of this allegation. 2. My agreement with erentpayment.com has nothing to do with any agreement that erentpayment.com has with a third party to process transactions. Erent must pay me the funds, and then attempt to collect the funds from whatever third party they are alleging has absconded the funds.3.  Erent collected a transaction fee from myself and the tenant.  By agreement, this fee is only collected after a transaction is completed. Erent collected this payment on 10/11/17. This means that eithe no third party is holding the funds, or that the company illegally takes funds from clients regardiless of whether or not the transaction is complete.  4.  Is the Revdex.com sure that erent payment.com  isn't a Ponzi scheme?  It appears that erent was simply using its ow money to pay these transactions, but has run out of funds to pay off some clients.  In response to running out of money or reserves to process transactions, erentpayment is attempting to blame a third party.  The goal in making this allegation is to stall and delay until erentpayment collects enough money from other clients to pay off clients like me. Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:  I remain unpaid as of today's date and now it...

is quite apparent that the October Erentpayment debacle has not been addressed with integrity or required compensation.   Erentpayment has not paid the rental funds deposited by my resident in October, 2017, and that is what is required.

I am rejecting this response because:This is a pre-typed email that eRentpayment has already sent.I have sent a request that all my accounts be cancelled no later than Friday November 17, 2017 and that all of my personal information along with the information of my renters be deleted from their system. They are to respond in writing that this is complete.FYI - They have removed the option for customers to delete bank account information from their systems online and have locked out other functions of the website. This is unacceptable.

I am rejecting this response because:I have received multiple emails with this exact same information  my bank does not recognize the “R10” dispute they refer to and cannot process it. They have sent me email addresses to contact for help concerning my dispute and those people have not given the help as promised. I’m not the one who caused this issue yet I’m the one who has to take time off from work to coordinate my bank with the NACHA people referred to me by erentpayment.
The only response I will accept is that they are paying either my landlord or me.

Our company leadership and legal counsel are in direct contact with the Bankruptcy Trustee handling the [redacted] bankruptcy proceedings in order to determine next steps in recovering and distributing the held funds.  We have also filed a claim with our insurance company. That claim is currently under review and we continue to provide information to assist them in that process.  We will continue to  work towards a resolution to recover the funds.

We have emailed the customer directly with additional information.
