While their response seems positive, it still does not provide any details about when or how much of our missing payment will be returned. Also, the procedures they provided for us to release return of the money from the bank, who wired the payment to eRentPayment, did not work. The bank has refused to return the money. Please keep us posted on their results

I am rejecting this response because: the company failed to properly notify it's customers of this issue.  Only after I reached out did I receive an update as to why my funds were being held. Furthermore they've been only sending updates via their [redacted] page. Erentpayment failed to notify me that they were using other parties involved in their transactions (outside of a bank). Their suggestion to have our tenants dispute the charges is disgusting in service, my tenant already tried and bank could not help them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that the direction is still on going and not resolved..  Only a temporary acceptance of the reply.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I do not like the way this was handled but I was able to get the funds back using the method suggested by the business.

I am rejecting this response because I have not received my $600.  The only way for this issue to be resolved is by giving me what is owed to me.

Our company leadership and legal counsel are in direct contact with the Bankruptcy Trustee handling the [redacted] bankruptcy proceedings in order to determine next steps in recovering and distributing the held funds.  We have also filed a claim with our insurance company. That claim is currently under review and we continue to provide information to assist them in that process.  We will continue to  work towards a resolution to recover the funds.

We are working with our legal group to recover funds as we will continue to update our customers with information during the process.

I am rejecting this response because:Asking my tenant to file forms with their bank is not a satisfactory resolution for several reasons:1) The tenant already paid their rent, hence their obligation to me is satisfied.  The money went missing after the tenant paid.2)  Asking the tenants to pursue the matter is like asking a stranger to repair my car free of charge. WHY would they do it?  They paid their rent, their obligation is finished. 3) Since the tenant is not "late" and has paid the rent for that month, they are very unlikely to file the forms with their bank.3) If the tenant were to file the forms, how would I know? How would I get the funds?  It seems like any "refund/funds reversal" would be made to the tenant by their bank, which is unlikely, but still would not put the rental funds into my account.4) Should the tenant receive a refund/reversal of the payment they made; they would have their money back, but I still don't have the rent and no way to "enforce" that the tenant turns said refund over to me, the rightful owner of the money.4) My relationship was with ERent, not the other entities they are blaming for the problem. I do not "know" the other parties and banks involved and therefore, I have no recourse in the matter except to pursue ERent, who was entrusted with getting the funds into my bank account.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: we still have NOT been paid the $750 erentpayment.com took out of my tenant's bank account for October rent.  Erentpayment.com had the transaction processed by a third party.  They are responsible for the funds.  They are trying to put this problem on the landlords and tenants.   Also the company continues to ignore emails and phone calls.  Refer to news articles (google "erentpayment.com" and click "news" refer to the several news articles that outlines this issue).  We will not be satisfied until erentpayment completes the transaction and deposits the $750 I am owed.  IF their third party filed for bankruptcy that's on erentpayment, NOT the tenant, to figure this out.   Our expected outcome is for erentpayment.com to deposit the $750 of funds they took from the tenant that have NOT been paid to the landlord.

I am rejecting this response because:
It does not replace the money that I am owed.

A separate company which was handling payment processing for eRentPayment, [redacted], has filed for bankruptcy protection. We have been told this occurred because [redacted]’s processor [redacted] placed a hold on its funds as a result of deficits incurred by other clients of [redacted], not...

eRentPayment.com. This created a cascade effect that caused some eRentPayment users’ funds to get held in a pending status with [redacted]. Unfortunately, designated recipients of the funds have not received payment. The transactions potentially affected were only those submitted after approximately 7:31:00 PM (PST) 10/03/2017 through approximately 7:01:33 PM (PST) 10/12/2017.We are coordinating with multiple entities, including attorneys general in several states, to try and rectify the situation for landlords and tenants whose transactions between 10/4 –10/12/17 were impacted.  Because we don't know how the held funds will be handled through [redacted]’s bankruptcy proceedings, the best course of action right now is for tenants to dispute the debit against his or her bank account with the bank. We’ve set up an online resource center with updates and support in filing that claim: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:this is a copy and pasted message of the information that was provided on their website after I had to contact eRentPayment inquiring about the status of my rent payment. I was not notified that my payment would be delayed. I was sent several messages after contacting eRentPayment indicating that my payment was only delayed, until they shut off their phones and didn't return emails. Several days later they posted on their website that their bank had declared bankruptcy and it was up to their customers to work it out with the tenants and their bank to get our money returned. ERentPayment was not transparent about the situation and did nothing to help their customers get the funds returned.

Problem: eRentPayment received $900 as rent payment from my tenant on 10 Oct 2017. They have not deposited this amount in my account as of 6 Dec 2017. I am the landlord and had been using their rent collection service for about six months for this property. They have failed to respond to my phone calls or email. Please help me collect this amount. Thanks! Desired Outcome: Pay me the $900 for rent collected with late fees

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:the response does not alleviate the issue that I have in receiving money that I trusted the company to collect and submit to me.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is same response I received from them as they are taking no responsibility for their vendor.  They received payment for their service but the customer is left with nothings return.
