Everdry Waterproofing Reviews (101)

We noticed some condensation in the corner of our foundation wall, and some hairline cracks. We wanted to prevent water issues and sought quotations from a number of vendors. We chose Everdry and and are happy we did. They did a thorough review and presented us with our options. We agreed on a procedure and are extremely happy with the work they provided. Their work was completed a year ago and we remain pleased with the results. They prevented any water issues, and back up their work with a lifetime guarantee if you chose that option.

My experience with Everdry was very positive. The project followed their plan as presented. The crew did a great job and completely cleaned up when they finished. We have had no basement water problems since the job was finished.

We have had everdry do work for us on two separate occasions, and were completely satisfied with job. There has not been any water in our basement since. It has been somewhere between 15 to 20 years.

We had a great experience with Everdry Waterproofing. Eight years ago, they repaired our basement foundation including straightening a bowed wall, reinforcing the foundation with steel beams, and waterproofing the entire foundation. They had to return one time to address a small leak and they did so promptly. I have not had one problem since then.

Everdry did a wonderful job of solving an annoying water issue with my home. My house is 90% crawl space, 10% basement and was 100% water! I battled water on a continuous basis due to being built into the bottom of a hill. Everdry was able to seal up an outside cellar door entrance and build on to my cinder block foundation to solve most of the water getting into the lower level. Adding two sump pumps (one in the crawl space and one in the basement) took care of the remaining problem! The only issue I've had since was when one of the sump pumps died! Everdry came out the same day I called to replace that sump pump and keep my basement dry (all under warranty)! Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Everdry. The entire team was helpful and efficient in working with us to end water issues in our basement. The Customer Service Representative who came to our house provided us with detailed estimates and all of our options. The crew who completed the repairs was professional, courteous and hard working. The foreman was friendly and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. After seeing the amount of concrete they hauled from our basement were expecting to have to do a lot more cleanup than we did but, as promised, they did a great job covering everything in plastic and cleaning up, too. We are very satisfied with the results and no longer have water issues in our basement. We are very pleased with their service and would recommend them highly in the future.

I contacted with Everdry to repair my basement water problems because the explanation
of the Everdry system seemed the most reasonable way of assuring a permanent fix.
Here in Germantown WI we have very heavy clay soil that impedes water saturation
during a heavy rainfail and directs the water pressure towards the basement walls.
Installing a new drain tile system on the exterior just below this temporary water table
and tying it in with the inside drain tile system made a lot of sense. My big fear was
the destruction to outside landscaping and my interior partially finished basement
(carpeting, panelling, shelving). I was delighted that damage done was minimal
and mostly cosmetic. The two foremen kept me informed frequently, the crew
worked very hard, they cleaned up nicely, and finished in two days. Now, I am
waiting for a really heavy rain to see the system work as promised!

Everdry did repairs and preventative measures on our home several years before we purchased it. We kept up the service agreement (a nominal yearly charge) and when we had some shifting and seepage this summer, they came to take a look. They quickly determined what was going on and what they could do to prevent serious damage. They added a support beam in one corner and drilled additional weep holes at the base of another wall we were concerned about.
The work was completed quickly and the workers were very polite - they even swept out our garage where some mud had been tracked in.
We are VERY glad to have a continuing service agreement with Everdry.

My basement flooded after the 2008 summer storms. I chose Everdry after investigating the company's reputation, specifically their work and commitment to their customers. The members of the team working on site were professional, talented, and courteous. The foreman explained everything and answered all of my questions. I used to inspect my basement for leaks every time it rained. I don't have to do that any longer. I am very pleased with the work and have recommended Everdry to others.

We had Everdry do our basement 20+ years ago because of water leaking in on the South wall. After the work was done we noticed that wall was bowing in a bit. Everdry came out to inspect and sent a crew to add steel beams for bracing at no cost to us under their warranty. We have had no other problems since.

Review: The sales guy was trying to sell me on a very extensive plan of re-doing the inside and outside drain tiles that would cost around $30,000. He told me that he could knock it down to around $27,000 if I signed today (red flag!) I didnt know if I really needed such an extensive overhaul of my tile system. My problem area only stretched about 5 feet. I had another waterproofing company scheduled a day later, so I paid the $2,000 deposit, and I signed the contact knowing that I could get a second opinion and also have plenty of time to cancel within 3 business days per WI State law. After the second opinion, my gut feeling was confirmed to cancel with Everdry and I hand-delivered my notice of cancellation on the third business day. The company called back and left a voicemail message. They acknowledge receipt of the cancellation form and that it was on-time, but said that they were quote...having a little difficulty with this..., and then asked that I call back. When I called back, the woman from Everdry said that we quote...have a situation now because money has already been spent on materials... If a customer has 3 business days to cancel, then no company should be spending money on material. Regardless, anyone reading this knows that no money was actually spent on material. They just wanted to guilt me into thinking I had to go ahead with the contract. Besides, I never scheduled a time to begin the work anyways. I told the woman that my cancellation notice trumps anything she had to tell me on the phone. She responded by telling me that she was going to have to send the sales guy back out to figure out a plan because her hands were tied. What?!? I told her that I would just send away any sales guy they send out. Sure enough, a couple days later, the same sales guy comes outthis time with a side kickprobably thinking they just needed to put pressure on me to close a deal or knock down the price even more. I told them to go away and refund our credit card. It's been over a month and still no refundDesired Settlement: This company is soooooo shaddy. Im doing lots of projects in my house at the moment and Im taking bids from all sorts of contractors with various skills. Ive mentioned Everdry to many of the contractors and all of them say the same thing-Stay away from them! All we want is our deposit back, and then Im happy to stay away and never call this company again!

Response:

Pertaining to the complaint listed above.Mr. [redacted] contracted with our inspector for $27,359 for interior and exterior waterproofing on his 194' basement on June 11, 2015. OnJune 16, Mr. [redacted] cancelled his contract as he has every right to do. We asked to meet with him to finish the cancellation process. When he became agitated, I decided to stop out myself. He answered the door on June 19, 2015, saw our inspector and myself and told us to leave the property. On June 30, 2015, within 10 business days of the cancellation of Mr. [redacted]' contract, a return deposit check for $2,000.00 was sent via U.S. Postal mail.On July 20, 2015 we received a mailing from the State of Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions stating that Mr. [redacted] had not received his check. I reached out via phone to Mr. [redacted] as we had already sent the check. I left a voicemail with Mr. [redacted] that dated the check and asked that he confirm that he did not get the check by the current date and I would stop the check we sent to send out a new one. I did not receive a call back that date.On July 21, 2015 we received the original check in the unopened envelope from the U.S. Postal Service with a label "Return to sender, not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward". I immediately called Mr. [redacted] and stated we got the check back and asked, via his voicemail, how he would like to proceed. Again, I did not receive a return phone call.Later in the day on July 21, Mr. [redacted] visited our office. He demanded his check. I handed it to him and asked that he sign for it, stating the check was received. He swore several times in the company of the child he brought into the office. I tried showing him not only the envelope with the Post Office's label, but the file we kept showing our intents. He continued to berate me.Mr. [redacted] has his $2,000.00 deposit back and I would like this complaint to be closed.

Response:

Wow, I thought I was the only one who had a terrible experience with Everdry. They seem to get such great reviews on other sites. But, when I read a few of the complaints on this site, I realized I am not the exception! Why does this company have such a good rating with the Revdex.com if they are clearly not honoring the Wisconsin 3 day right to cancel?!?
Bottom line, to reiterate what was said in the complaints, this company pressured me into thinking I was stuck in my contract and had to go through with it despite cancelling the contract within 3 days. They told me the exact same thing as one of the complaints that was filed in the complaint log. Namely, that my deposit was already spent and that I would have to go through with the contract. Just like the complaints on this site,
Everdry also told me that they would have to send out my sales rep to discuss this so called problem. My neighbor is a lawyer and I had him call Everdry back. I'm not sure what was said, but my neighbor said they would be refunding me in 10 business days. Sure enough, I got a refund check in the mail 9 days later.
I realize now, after reading other reviews, that Everdry really just wants to re-send out the sales rep in order to pressure you into moving forward. As it was explained to me by my neighbor, Everdry legally has to refund your money if you cancel within 3 business days, which I did.
This company is very sketchy! I would never recommend them to anyone. Oh, also, my sales rep who initially came out did NOT seem very knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend that customers seek out other accredited businesses through MilwaukeeNari.org

We had our basement done with everyday in 2007 not once since then have we ever had a problem. They were very professional during the process and the job was completed in the time frame given.

We moved into our house in 98, soon after we started having water problems in our basement. Floors were getting wet, water was coming in from the walls, and we had mold on the walls. In 2005 we sat down with the sales rep. from Everdry, he explained the work that would be done: the drain tile around the inside of the basement and the the J channel on the outside and the sump pump and the EZ breath. Although we thought it was expense we needed to do something and this sounded like a great plan. We liked the thought of a transferable warranty and that we wouldn’t have water and mold in our basement. Everdry’s employees were nice, polite, and very professional. The work was done and soon after we washed all the walls with bleach and water and painted over the walls with drylock. Now ten years later although we haven’t had any water in the basement we do have mold and still have to run a dehumidifier or we get a musty smell, even though we are running the EZ-Breeze. I have called Everdry to have them fix the vent cover on the EZ-Breeze and to check on the mold situation. The vent was fixed without any problems, but I was told the mold on the walls was do to moisture coming up from behind the corrugated vents and that we just needed to wash the walls again to get rid of the mold. I was told that Everdry would come out and caulk the corrugated vents after we washed the walls and got rid of the mold. The mold returning in the first place would be my biggest complaint. We were told that mold would not be a problem after the work was done and that we could even finish the basement. A second would be the fact that my basement stairs were never the same after the work was completed, because of moving the stairs during the project they haven’t been the same since. All in all, i’m unsure if I would recommend Everdry. We’re happy that the water isn’t coming in anymore but we’re not happy about the mold returning.

After debating on basement issues, Everdry Waterproofing visited our home twice offering their free inspection. We came to the conclusion of purchasing waterproofing to add piece of mind to our home investment. We remain satisfied customers at this time. [redacted]

They did a fast and efficient job with my basement and walked me through every step of the way. They even came back to replace a window that had been damaged in the process.

12 years ago my husband and I were first time home buyers. Our first spring in our home, we discovered leakage that made our basement completely unusable and caused us constant stress. EverDry Waterproofing took the time to educate us about how all the systems in our house worked and offered different options for fixing our issues. The workers who completed the repairs were polite and efficient. While the price for our repairs was high, we feel it was worth every penny. For over ten years our basement has been completely dry, and we even have a finished family room down there now.

We have had Everdry Waterproofing at our home since 1992 and have been very happy with the results. Our home is located in a valley and has two sump pumps that occasionally run non-stop but the basement floor remains dry. We signed on to their annual service contract and and their response to any issues is always on time, they will replace a pump with no questions asked.

Everdry Waterproofing came out to my home and completely fixed my basement. Their staff was very helpful and explained what was going to happen and was open to answering all of my questions. Their work was great!
