Everdry Waterproofing Reviews (102)

We had two very small leaks in our basement at the ground level. Everydry came out and talked us into doing an extensive project for over $22,000. Their sales guy, Walter, looked like a respectable informed representative of the company and assured us we would have a dry basement and that the crew would leave our basement the way they found it.

in the middle of March, Everydry crew came and dug up our basement and the perimiter of our house, installed two sump pumps (major overkill), and a humidifier system. The crew did a horrible job - the creating in the basement was dismal. It was a shoddy job, high in some places, low in others, with dry splatters everywhere, and every single wall in my basement was covered with dirty handprints. On top of that, they did a horrible job covering up my belongings so everything was covered in an inch of dust. Needless to say, the first rain and our basement leaked big time - and it leaked from a place that never leaked before. They send another crew out and agreed the job was shoddy and proceeded to rip out everything to start over. After 2 days of enduring drilling in our basement again, they left. Next rain, water started to literally spew into our basement, I have film and pictures if anyone wants to see it. Once more, they send out a crew who digs some more around the house. they leave telling me they gurantee the problem is fixed. 2 hours later, my basement is spewing water again. Not only that, the crew cut my cable line so we were all without TV for the weekend AND they left my gate open so my dogs escaped and I had to go looking for them in my neighborhood. They placed cigarette butts behind their tar job - they smeared tar on my windows that were recently painted - they killed over 1000 bulbs I planted last fall - they left my front yard a muddy pig sty - and they plugged up all my downspouts.

Bottom line, do not fall for these guys. I am now hearing all sorts of stories about how badly trained their crews are. Their production manager, Brandon, felt offering me a 10% refund on the job as sufficient. And, all my attempts to get the franchise owner to call me back have so far failed. Clearly he does not care that they are robbing people blind and literally destroying people's biggest investment, their homes.

Review: I have a signed contract for a guarantee of a dry basement upon completion and installation of the Ever Dry Water proof system. The system was installed in Oct 2011. Since that time, Ever Dry has returned to my home 4 times to correct leakage issues. The first three times Ever Dry made an attempt to eliminate the water problem. The first time they extended the dura shield to eliminate the water that was on the wall near the floor. The second time we had the wet spot on the floor they came and fixed a broken screw that holds the dura shield in place. On Feb 11 2013 they returned to correct a large wet spot on the floor. My husband has a picture on his cell phone. They busted up the cement drilled additional weep holes, grooved the footers and wrapped the pipe in dura shield. Within the last two weeks with all the heavy rain we had another wet spot on the cement floor over the French drain. Every dry came out and put their water hose behind the dura shield. The water did not come through the floor with the hose. Every dry is unable to respond when the floor is actually damp from the rain. I was told today that there was nothing they could do and to have a nice day. I paid 16,815.00 cash for this system. I need some sort of resolution for the condensation of water on the floor. This game room area has been unfinished since OCt 2012. I am afraid to put walls and flooring in this area. One other complaint to this company. They moved all the Chesapeake Bay stone around my house for the outside French Drain. The workers mixed all my stone with mud and threw it back around my house. It took me and my husband months to remove the rock from the mud, clean the stone and put it back where it was. Needless to say I would never recommend this company Thanks for your time and inquiryDesired Settlement: They need to find a resolution to ensure a dry floor and basement area so the space can be a finished room as it was before they started. Otherwise, if they cannot fulfill the guarantee I would expect a full refund.
