Tell us why here...The check is issued by *** NOT Island recreational.Since you have mailed your rebate application in to *** it is in their hands

No supervisor received any message to contact in reference to an issue with the pump. The credit card company did not contact, they have my direct line as they have called me on prior casesThe notes on our installation paperwork and yours states that the union from your old pump is missing
an o ring. That is the cause of the leakThere is no crack in ANY pipe. This was written on the installation completion paperwork on June ***. If the pump is a direct swap, which it was, the old unions are used to installNo one was home at the time of the installation so the paperwork was marked "Leak at discharge union swapped from old pumpneed o ring."

Tell us why here...Please note we entered a warranty order for the customer which is order ***The customer can pick up the cover when they can.The store manager in question will be spoken to

I appreciate a response from the business considering we were never able to get oneWe were never told the pump was not instock(I would have completely understood had this been brought to my attention)But In fact we were told it would be shipped out and received by May ***No attempt to contact us has been made to keep us notified However, I'm glad to hear the pump will be shipped out this week and hopefully recieved soon. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI would say when we recieve a working pump, the matter will be resolved.

We have processed a refund in the amount of $and have cancelled the warranty entered prior

We have spoken to the customer and have agreed to refund the cost of the filter hookup in the amount of $152.06. We have also set up a service call on Wednesday *** to adjust a vertical on the pool. The customer has agreed to all of this

The salt generator was installed last year, at no time were we informed of a leak on the salt systemThe liner was changed due to a defect, the installers do not put the salt system back on the returnHowever, we will have a tech out to the home on 7/** to look at the leak and fix it

On July ***, we setup an installation for a new pumpWe advised the consumer that the pump comes off easily. The installer would install the new pump at no charge, but he would have to pick up the new pumpThe installer went there on July *** and there was no pump at the home. The
installer instructed how to remove the defective pumpWe are awaiting a response from the consumer

I reviewed all of MY PAPERWORK I can not find an exclusion of the ladder in the install description It is true that it is not included in writing either The truth of the matter is the company's agent Gwen (sales woman who also represents herself as a manager) implied that it was When she said the steps, they are not a ladder, needed to be removed in the winter we explained that we could not do that with our physical limations She NEVER said they we would need to build them and install them She omitted that because she knew we would NOT buy the pool and she wanted the saleSeveral times the company's agents have verbally stated they would make an exception but never follow through They cite liability but expect a customer with no construction experience to build and install something they are AFRAID TOO, risking injury to the people who use the steps That is just simply absurd!In addition the installer never set up the equipment or explained how to use it I was told by the company that they don't do that I was shocked as again they just wash their hands of the products they sold the customer Their position is go to the store with questions Prior to the liner splitting I signed up for and paid for a pool orientation at a cost of $100.00+tax paid in advance The liner split so the orientation was CANCELLED and not performed My credit card was not credited and the charge was $more than the agreed upon amount I have in my possession Schedule H signed by the company's installer, represented as an employee, that states the technician will explain the equipment Since this is the orientation I should have been given that as part of the install The company's position is that I never should have been given that form it was a mistake by the company Either way I am due a credit of $to my credit cardEveryone I know who owns a pool has stated that the equipment and an explanation of how to work it was part of their install.Since it is now July and we have been unable to use a pool which was paid for in full in April we made other arrangements to get the steps assembled and installed, explain how to work the equipment, and maintain the pool It is obvious that Island Recreational is not the company we thought it was and is in fact the company LET THE BUYER BEWARE was written about! Once the credit is issued to my card I will withdraw this compliant We will also never purchase another item from them

The pool was not ready for use until the salt water generator was set up and water was to correct level after 8/*I was told 5-for leveling and charged for The guys came hours late after the business was closed for me to even speak to someoneI want know why this company took my money in June in full and failed to produce a pool when promised while the weather was not a factorThey should have known their stock prior to promising it for July ***I also want to know why a manager never called meI spoke with a friend at work who also used Island Recreational and said the sand issue about having to pay to move it happens to him too, but he was able to call because it was working hours and was given a store credit for thatYes we were upgraded to a larger generator becuae ours was backordered, but on the day they were supposed to install that one on July *** they called to reschedule because ours was backordered when my husband went to pick up the new one prior to that so i'm not sure what the issue wasMy husband called and nobody knew why it was reschedule so it looks to be retaliatory for my complaintWe also had to go and purchase an additional cable to hook up the new generator and had to send additional moneySince my pool was not operational until after 8/* I want to have the sale price offered on all items I did not get to use I purchased in JuneAny other retailer would do a price adjustment if the item a consumer purchased

This is exactly what I was told the first times I was lied to...I just don't understand why you guys can't simply keep up with the promise that was made at the time of purchase. Your sales person is who messed up the order from the beginning which supposedly caused all of the problems in issuing me my rebate. Why am I being penalized because your employees don't have knowledge of your products and services. I have been lied to over and over since the purchase. I don't care if *** is cutting the check. I will only declare this complaint resolved once I receive the check and it is cleared and deposited in my bank account. How do I even know that this isn't a lie again claiming that *** is cutting the check? Your company promised me the check not ***!

The pump can be brought to the *** store and they will swap it out

We delivered the free heater that was part of the pool package on 8/**/17. We are unable to refund the customer for a heater that he did not pay for and especially since he has the heaterIf another heater was purchased, a refund would have to be requested from the whoever the customer
purchased the heater fromWe are not responsible

The MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS states:Tell us why here...The customer purchased a 12xpool coverThe pool is 18x I purchased a 12xpool cover on that day for another pool I have an existing 18xpool cover that I have used for two years and is in excellent condition No where on their ad does it say I have to purchase a pool cover that I intend to use on the pool that I'm closing Island Recreation was apprised of this and agreed to use the existing cover but never didthe cover is too small to close the pool with - THERE IS AN 18XCOVER FOR USE TO CLOSE THE POOL>has NO skimmer plate - ALL NECESSARY PARTS ARE LOCATED BY THE POOL ALTHOUGH I WAS NEVER TOLD WHAT WAS NEEDED I WAS JUST TOLD TO PURCHASE A BALL, A COVER, AND THEY WOULD DO THE REST THIS NEVER HAPPENEDno cable - CABLE FOR WHAT?no plug for light - ELECTRICITY TO AND FOR THE POOL ARE ALL VISIBLY LOCATED IN THE POOL AREA.customer was given full refund for what she paid for close.I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN A REFUND I WOULD LIKE PROOF OF THIS AND THE DATE IT WAS GIVEN MORE LIES FROM ISLAND RECREATIONAL

We have not been made aware of the pool collapsing 3x. The last time we were made aware of an issue with the pool was in when we FIXED the skimmerSince then there has been no contactIf the pool is rusting, the manufacturer handles that, this is not a brush offThe manufacturer handles all warranty claimsSkimmers leak through the winter, expansion causes the screws to loosen and the skimmer to leakThat is the issue, not an installation issue
