? I made my purchase at island recreationalI did not go through any other partiesPurchased a pool package with deck and installAll deliveries or correspondence regarding products delivery and install where handled by island recWhen it came down to it? is when the runaround started and I was told and made to call all interested parties and sort it out my self with zero help or assistance from island recMy contract states that my install was do be done no later than april *** yet they made the? arraingements for delivery of pool on may *** which I was able to change to the *** because the install date the gave me was may *** and I did not want parts sitting for so long.? Again no choice on my part just rude and zero service from island recIt? was like their motto was to bad deal with itThe parts finally came on ? june *** and install completed on june ***!!!I myself work in the customer service field and would of least made my customer feel/be resolved in any way other than the treatment I receivedBeen shopping with them for the better part of years for supplies and chemicals but never againThe lost a good customer

there is a service call to change the return on 8/**

We instructed the customer to patch the holes in the liner for now to use the pool and we would come out to change the liner at the end of the seasonA liner would have to be orderedSince the pool is semi inground, it would have to be dug out in order to change the linerWe will reimburse for
any water usage provided we are sent a bill for the water

The business is misrepresenting the facts:They did not come back the next dayThey entered our property without notifying us on 06/** and installed the skimmerThere was no more waterin the pool than on the *** of MayThey were supposed to install the pump and salt generator they did neitherWe were informed after the fact that a different crew does that install? We were given a date of 06/** for the salt generator we were not advised at the time of purchase and payment of thatWe went to the store on Saturday 06/** after waiting about an hour to speak to a manager we were advised that the lump install would now be $paid in advance instead of the $quoted by the crew.We paid for the pool and salt generator install in full more than a month and a half ago but still do not have a usable pool.We? ? ? The? ? ? ?

Again, how does Island Recreation know what the problem is if they have never come to inspect the unit or the installation job by their installer? ? Second, neither the installer nor myself ever indicated that my old pump, or plumbing was leaking, if as Island Recreation claims, the o-ring was missing, how would the old unit not be leaking? ? Finally, as part of the purchase of this pump, I filed for a mail in rebate from the local utility as part of the *** *** rebate program, again, rather than take the time to come to my house to address my complaint, I was just notified by *** that my rebate is no longer valid because I "returned the pump" according to the vendor? Again, instead of coming to my house checking their poor workmanship and fixing the problem, Island Recreation would rather spend hours making sure to continue to ruin my pool experience? I can provide that document should you wish? I have now contracted with a reputable pool company to close my pool for the season and will no longer allow Island Recreation access to my property? They have had since I believe June ** or thereabouts to remedy this and have chosen not to? Kind of funny, I was telling my friend recently the story and before I even could tell him the problem, he stopped me after saying Island Recreation and I quote "let me guess, you are on the long list of people they screwed"!?

The liner has been changed, the same liner that was purchased.? The ladder assembly is not included and it is stated in the paperwork.? I understand that the salesperson did not say we do not install, but it was not said that we do.? The paperwork that is signed in the store that we do not include the filter hookup or the ladder assembly.? once again, WE DO NOT INSTALL LADDERS due to safety issues.? Every pool that is sold, the consumer must put the ladder togetherI sympathize with the situation but we are unable to install a ladderThis is company policy and can not be changed
