RE [redacted] Complaint # [redacted] Ref # [redacted] Dear Revdex.com:Our office recently received your correspondence dated October 6, 2015, regarding the above mentioned consumer's Experian credit report.We are currently investigating the disputed informationUpon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer.Regarding our investigation process, Experian contacts the source of the disputed information directly by letter, telephone, or through an automated verification systemWe ask the source to check their records to verify all of the information regarding the item questioned, and report back to us within days of the date that we received the consumer's requestOnce we receive their response, we send the consumer the results of the investigationIf we do not receive a response within days we update the item as requested or delete the information, and send the consumer these results.According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a consumer reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to investigate the information to determine the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item by contacting the source of the disputed information and informing them of all relevant information regarding the consumer's disputeIf the issue is not resolved, then the consumer reporting agency must offer to include a consumer statement on the personal credit reportThe FCRA does not require that the consumer reporting agency obtain documentation such as the actual signed sales slips, signature cards, contracts, etc., nor does it require that consumer reporting agencies act as mediators or negotiators in account disputesPlease forward any documentation directly to the Creditor for review.Please refer to the original Experian personal credit report for the business name, address, and phone number (if available) of the source that verified the information.If I may be of further assistance, please contact me directly.Sincerely, [redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate Consumer Affairs Special Services [redacted] ***
There is a child support account on my credit report that is reported as open and is not openI have contacted the [redacted] ement office in [redacted] and they told me they do not verify information to the credit bureaushow can this account be on my credit report then? It says that "This item remained unchanged from our processing of your dispute in Mar 2016" but then shows the date of status as may which shows me that no real investigation was really done.Desired Outcome: please delete child support account number [redacted] from my credit report

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below On September 7th, I hand written my first letter to Experian along with an copy of my ID and social which should already be on file Ireceived an response on Sept 28th stating all accounts was verified but there was no proof provided of the accurancyAccording to SecREPORT TO CONSUMERNot later than the 45th day after the date of the request, a credit bureau shall provide to a person in its registry a copy of all information contained in its files concerning that personI was not provided any information of what Experian used or received in my files for verificationI sent an 2ND letter in October and was advised they will not reinvestigate the information that was already previous verified which is invalidSo upon the request from Experian I ask you all to pull the previous dispute I had already processed and provide me with the verification of the accounts according to the FCRA I disputed and if unable to provide please remove and update my credit information as it is causing harm to my credit worthiness.To positively prove an account is mines, the creditor must provide the Credit Bureau a copy of the original creditor documentation(whatever I filled out and signed upon opening the account with the reporting creditor Regards, [redacted]
