April 24, 2015Revdex.comServing San Diego and Imperial CountiesViewridge Ave., #200San Diego, CA 92123RE: [redacted] ***REF #: [redacted] Complaint ID # [redacted] Dear Revdex.com:Our office recently received your correspondence of April 14, regarding the above mentionedconsumer's complaint. The credit score is a mathematical summary of the credit history using sophisticated statistics andmathematical equations to calculate the summaryNumerical values are assigned to various piecesof information in a credit report, resulting in the risk scoreThe credit score changes over time as aconsumer continues to develop their credit history, and may change from day to day as credit historyis updated. The interpretations of risk scores differ according to the need and requirements set by the variouscredit grantors, and may indeed vary on a daily basisSimilarly, different credit grantors can view thesame risk score differently, depending on their experiences with other consumers scoring in the samerange, their marketing plans, their business niche and many other factorsExperian is not privy to thevalues assigned to the information appearing on a consumer's credit reportThat information wouldbe considered proprietary to the credit grantorAdditionally, not all creditors report credit informationto all three of the credit bureausFor this reason, each bureau's credit report can have differentinformation causing credit scores from bureau to bureau to vary, at times by a substantial amount.Credit scores are generated based solely upon the credit guidelines determined by a potential creditgrantorA credit score may be different from lender to lender depending on the type of credit scoringmodel usedThe interpretations of credit scores differ according to the need and requirements set bythe various credit grantors, and may also vary on a daily basis.Common questions that many consumers have regarding their credit scores are "why didn't my scorego up?" or "what can I do to make my score go up?" For example, you might ask if closing twoinstallment accounts would improve your credit scoreWhile this question may appear to be easy toanswer, there are many factors to considerSimply closing two accounts not only lowers the numberof open installment accounts (which generally will improve your score) but it also lowers the totalnumber of all open accounts (which generally lowers your score).Furthermore, such an action will affect the average age of all accounts that could either raise or loweryour scoreAs you can see, one seemingly simple change actually affects a large number of items onyour credit reportTherefore, it is impossible to provide an accurate assessment of how one specificaction will affect your credit score.A credit score is based entirely on the information found on your personal credit reportAny change toyour credit report could affect your score. For these reasons, the score cannot be "disputed"However, if there is information appearing on acredit report that is believed to be inaccurate or incomplete, we are able to investigate that specificinformationInaccurate information on the credit report could possibly be the cause of an inaccuratescoreWe have mailed a current credit report directly to the consumer for reviewIf the consumerbelieves there are inaccuracies on their credit report, we must have a specific disputePlease specifythe item or account name and number. Please provide the consumer's specific disputes along with their complete identification information(Social Security number, full name, current address, previous addresses in the last two years and dateof birth)Also, please include one copy of a government issued identification card, such as a driver'slicense, state ID card, etc., and one copy of a utility bill, bank or insurance statement, etc.Experian strives to achieve a high level of customer service for all the consumers they assistLet meassure you that Experian takes its commitment to efficient, expeditious service seriouslyThank youfor allowing me to assist youPlease contact me directly if you have any questions.Sincerely, [redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The "canned" response from Experian and the issuance of a credit report that I already have are not fixing the problems I addressedRemoval of disputed inaccurate data regarding my various names, addresses and employment, also the negative accounts that I marked "not mine" would be a startSecondly, to make the interface navigable to the average person so as they could be able to dispute the erroneous data on their reportsAs I said, [redacted] and [redacted] both were quite easy to navigate and file a disputeWhy is my report with Experian so flawed as compared to theirsPlease update my report with accurate information about me and my accounts Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] The information they are reporting is incorrectTheir verification method "ONLY" consists of making phone contact with "anyone" who lists somethingIt is not my job as the consumer to prove the information is not accurate or mine it is the responsibility of the credit reporting agency to report accurate information by making the company provide "detailed" verification to link the accounts to the person in question which can not be done by those listed in my complaint [redacted] - [redacted] we don't even have this chain in my state so why the heck would I have a card from here? FRAUD 8/AND 9/ [redacted] I di not authorize ANY CREDIT PULL from here FRAUD [redacted] office is not the complainant in this complaint [redacted] ***The complainant is [redacted] who is NO LONGER a U.ScitizenYou have to verify the validity of this with the complainant not the courtThe court only enters information when it is first given which has been over years ago because this date was 3/not 9/This has already been removed from both of the other agencies because they could not get in touch with [redacted] to verify it's continued validitySo unless Experian has some magical powers to find people in [redacted] to verify this then the information is reporting WRONG so delete it just as the other agencies have
