Review: I ordered a dress from the company's online store, which was delivered to me in a somewhat timely fashion. After receiving the dress, I immediately decided it was not the right color or style for me, so I promptly began the return process with the company, being sure to follow all their strict return policies and guidelines. I sent the item back on July [redacted] via [redacted] 2 day priority mail, received a tracking number and confirmed the dress was delivered/received on July [redacted]. After not seeing a refund within their 7-10 business day policy, I contacted their Customer Service number and was told they do not have any information on returns, but they could take my phone number and someone could call me back. I received no phone calls or updates. I continued to call and email for the next month, attempted to contact them via [redacted], and I still have received no information, phone calls, or updates on the status of my refund. I paid the company $125.10 for the item, and I have not seen any of my money back after returning the item promptly and following all guidelines. I have not received a status or any information regarding my refund, and I cannot get in touch with anyone at the company to provide this information.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the item I returned, which I sent back promptly and following all of the companies return policies and guidelines.

Review: I first placed an order on June [redacted] for a dress from Fame and Partners. The dress did not fit, so I returned it within the websites return guidelines, and my return was accepted. The website advertised that returns were processed within seven business days, It has been two months and my return has not been processed. I have not been able to get any information from the customer service team at Fame and Partners. It seems as though other customers have reported the same issue.Desired Settlement: I would like for my money to be returned to me immediately.

Review: I purchased two dresses for my daughter both were returned within the time frame as directed by this business. I called and spoke with someone in the NY office to confirm this just prior to send them back. On May *, 2015 I had $498.00 debited from my checking account and also an additional international fee of $3.98.

The quality of the dress was not good and did not fit my daughter so I returned them both and after many attempts to contact the company I have not heard back. I am a single mother who is trying to make end meet and this company stole $501.98 from me plus the cost of $20.62 to return it to them by [redacted].!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want all my money refunded to me $ 522.60

[my complaint has NOT been resolved because I have not received a refund as promised. The business stated that they would refund my money shortly, that they had technical difficulties with an "outside service provider" this in a email addressed to me 8/**/15. Then on 8/** I receive an email from another member of the Fame and Partners Team, and this person states in the email that she has already refunded my money on 8/**, and that it would take a few days. I responded back on 8/** that I had not received a refund yet. Today, 9/*/15, I receive the Revdex.com notice that Fame and Partners has said they have refunded my money, but its been over a week and I have not received anything.

Review: I returned my order and still haven't been processed my refund. It's been over two months. I've reached out to them about 3-4 times and they give me this canned response every time:

Then when I ask what does shortly mean, they always say:

I don't think that these "technical difficulties" have been addressed at all. I'm still $215.20 in the hole.Desired Settlement: I want my total refund of $215.20 from my order (order # [redacted]).

This business is the sketchiest business I have ever ordered from. They have little to none customer service and I can never get information out of them if I do get ahold of them. I ordered a dress from this website and the site made it seem like my dress would be shipped in 2 days and at my house within 5 business days. Wrong. I waited a few days, but finally I contacted fame and partners. And when I say contacted, I mean I called them 3 times and sent 5 emails to them over the course of 2 days. I finally got through to someone in charge of their [redacted] page and they told me that my dress would be SHIPPED in 7-14 business days. My prom is 4 days away and I have no dress. This is the most stressful experience. People need to know how the business is ran and this is a warning to stay away from this website.

Review: I followed their return policy correctly, filled out the form which I had to acquire by requesting it from them and then shipped it with tracking to the given address. Their return policy states that they will contact when the return has been received and that they will process the refund 7-10 days after that. It has been well over 30 days since they have received my refund and they have never once contacted me to say they received it nor have I received my refund. I have had to contact them multiple times to get them to tell me what is going on with my order - the first an email correspondence was dismissive and not specific. The in website chat feature is the only way I've gotten confirmation from them that they have received and are processing my refund. They claim that technical issues are the reason that I have not received my refund but I am skeptical.Desired Settlement: To ensure that I will in fact receive my refund from this company as soon as possible.

Review: Two formal dresses were purchased on this website. They were quite expensive. Their return policy which is listed under "account" heading clearly states that they will issue a full refund. First I left three phone messages without the courtesy of a reply, then I followed the directions for the refund and was emailed as soon as they received the dresses. At this point I was informed via their email that their policy indicates that if two dresses were purchased under the same order, only one would be fully refunded and the second would be only store credit. They sent me a link indicating this policy. However, on their main website, there is no such information listed and no such visible link. This seems completely illegal. All refund policies should be clearly visible under their main return information section. This is what is listed:

"What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you are not happy with your garment, we accept returns under the following circumstances:

If you just want to return, you can do so for free (up to $8.25 - when receipt of postage is attached), as long as you are within our returns guidelines, by emailing our customer service team with your order number and the word RETURN in the subject

They will then confirm the steps to complete the return, including a refund of the cost to return the item to us!

We only accept returns or exchanges up to 30 days from the original date of shipment.

Any item to be returned or exchanged must be in new, unused and resalable condition, with the DO NOT REMOVE tag still attached in the same place as originally sent. We photograph every product as part of our QA process so we know where the DO NOT REMOVE tag was attached.

Any exchange or return should be sent back in the original, undamaged packaging, plus any accessories or extras that may have been included with the shipment.

For full priced garments, we do not charge a restocking fee.

For any custom garments (customizations or custom colors), we charge a 50% restocking fee.

If a customized dress is exchanged for a non-customized dress, which is then returned, a 50% restocking fee will apply to the final return.

For any discounted items, we charge a $14.95 restocking fee when returned for a refund.

We cannot refund sale items that have been discounted 50% or more.

For any items discounted to under $149.00, you will be responsible for covering the cost of the return.

Items exchanged for another item or returned for a credit are not charged a restocking fee.

Exchanges will only be allowed for size changes within 1 dress size, for example a dress ordered in size 10 can be exchanged for a size 8 or 12

We are not responsible for any goods that are returned to us by mistake or are lost.

Maximum of one exchange allowed for each dress purchased.

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 Business days after we receive your return

Original Shipping charges are non refundable 18 Store Credit can not be transferred to another person or account

Store Credit may not be purchased and is only provided when purchased items have been returned and you have selected “ Store Credit “ as the refund method"Desired Settlement: It seems completely illegal, unethical and unprofessional to not offer a full refund unless it is clearly spelled out. I have purchased items at stores, where only store credit is explicitly indicated in case of a return. There is no such information on this website.

Review: I have contacted this company 2 times over the phone and 3 via email for a return and have gotten no feedback. I have 20 days to get my 500 dollars back and have gotten no response for a return slip. This company is clearly unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I want my money back in full.

I should be refunded the priced of the dress ($189) + $8.25 for shipping.

I have contacted Fame & Partners (via live chat) twice, they always promise a later later for refund. 21 days the first time, 10 days the second time. They have never acknowledged or contacted me concerning the return and refund. They have given different excuses why they have not refunded my money. Almost 3 months and still waiting.Desired Settlement: A full refund plus the shipping costs. ($189 + $8.25)

Review: This company basically stole $200 of my money through their stringent and unfair return policies which are not clearly disclosed on their website or at the point of purchase. I believe they intentionally keep these hidden because not only are they unreasonable, but I've never seen such a long, complicated return policy that prevent you from walking away without leaving some of your money on the table. I purchased 3 items from them for a total of $526.90. I was charged an additional $15.80 foreign transaction fee that was not disclosed to me until I saw the charge on my credit card. I returned all 3 items right away because the quality was terrible, they appeared homemade and did not fit at all properly. After I had shipped all of the items back did they tell me that they would not accept all of my returns, nor were any of the items returnable for $100. They had all kinds of exceptions based on sales price and restocking fees that made no sense. I finally received a return of $328.50, a difference of 198.40!!! And I have nothing to show for it except for my frustration and time. When I demanded credit, they eventually offered me a credit of $75. I ultimately decided not to use the credit because I absolutely refuse to give them any more of my money, nor do I want to receive another made in a Chinese child labor factory piece of garbage. Oh, yes the items shipped directly from China, not NY or Australia as claimed on the website. I want a full refund of my monies, minus the shipping charge which I think is fair. AND I want this company to properly disclose its policies at the TIME OF PURCHASE (not after they have you money and it's too late) so that no other customer has to experience what I have had to experience. Read their reviews on [redacted], my experience is not unique. People should be warned, this company is a SCAM!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money, $198.40.

Our founder and CEO started this business to alleviate the frustrations often felt when shopping for a dress for a special event and so it is very disappointing to hear that we have not delivered on this vision, in this situation. In regards to the aforementioned issues. We are currently in the process of reviewing our terms and conditions as well as our frequently asked questions in order to make our policies clearer and more flexible. We have never intentionally hidden our policies they are available in the footer on every page of our website as is standard e commerce practice. The foreign transaction fee would have been charged to you by your financial institution unfortunately we have no control over this. I am sincerely sorry that the quality of our products was not up to standard - to address this we have hired more quality control agents to insure that all future products meet that standards of our customers. Further to this, we have implemented some new quality control standards. Since we make bespoke made to order dresses they are shipped directly from our factories in China to get them to our customers as fast as possible. We make no claims as to where our garments are manufactured on our website. Fame & partners audits these factories regularly to ensure the highest possible standards. Most importantly, though, our Head Office is based in Sydney, Australia, which is where all of our design, product development, marketing and more happen. We regret that we have had some instances where customers have not been able to get in touch with our customer service sales team as quickly as we would like. This has been due to the overwhelming demand for our dresses as we entered into the US market. We have since hired more agents and are expanding this team and improving all related processes as quickly as we can. I believe a customer service agent has already been in touch with you and we will be offering you a full refund as well as a replacement dress free of charge.

Review: Fame and Partners is an online based company that sells clothing. I returned a dress, within the time frame to receive a full refund. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to receive a refund and it has now been over a month. I've left numerous voice messages and emailed the company with no response. I resorted to posting on [redacted] and I finally got a response, only to find out they planned to refund my money, but to charge me a restocking fee. First of all, I have not seen any money credited to my account and I should not be charged a restocking fee.

This company is very good at taking your money, but they don't seem to have any intention of refunding customers, once the clothing is returned. I personally think this company should not be conducting any further business in the US. All the clothing is made and shipped directly from China. They are just using their NY and Australia offices as a front. They use a messaging service, so no one is ever available to take a phone call.

I've already asked my credit card company to get involved, but they should be seriously penalized for taking advantage of customers. Their clothing prices are not cheap. They are charging higher end clothing prices and providing no services.

I've never filed a complaint before, but I think this company should definitely be written up so that no future customers will fall prey to their scam.Desired Settlement: All I want from Fame and Partners is to get a full refund for my clothing that was returned.
