Amazing work and quality from FB Doors. Through the entire process it has been a pleasure dealing with FBDoors to have my windows; front door and garage door replaced. They have a great selection, competent sales staff who is knowledgeable of their products and the entire installation crew is not only courteous, friendly, respectful and professional. They work fast, clean and organized. I couldn't of wished for better service over all. There is always a field supervisor coming to overlook the work being done and ensuring the work is done correctly and up to all the latest codes. And let's be honest here; the peace and tranquility to know your home is secure and protected is priceless.
If you are thinking of having any of your doors or windows replaced give Miguel C. a call directly; he is one of the field supervisors.

Very professional and tentative company. From salesman to field crew, they showed professionalism and competency. I would use them again and recommend at any time .

FB Doors has proof its reputation as an Elite contractor for Installations of Impact Windows and Doors

Everything was done in timely matter with great communication every step of the way. All doors and windows look great!!!! A must to use FB Doors!!! 5 star service!!!!

I want to start by saying that I work in the service industry and have dealt with a lot of companies. From start to finish this was a professional firm to work with that exhibited quality work. All personnel was responsive, informative, and polite. The installation team went beyond what we ever expected. They were easy to deal with, did painting, stucco work, drywall and completed the installation in a timely and thorough manner. They even showed up to walk the city inspector through the house, to facilitate the inspection and passing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for window and door replacement. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Happy with my new doors and windows from FB Doors, Very good job. I recommend FB Doors for its good service ...

WE ARE VERY PLEASED TO HAVE FB DOORS PROVIDE THEIR SERVICES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FRONT WIMDOW ANVD MASTER BEDROOM BATHROOM WINDOW W IMPACT WINDOWS. PERSONNEL AND SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICES. RATED THEN 5-5

A very positive experience. Excellent staff starting with Peggy, the sales rep. who diligently explained the process from beginning to end. Continuing with Jenny who texted daily to confirm the next day schedule and the two teams of installers who took every step to protect my property and deliver a finished product. The high impact doors and windows provide many benefits. They have added a modern look to my home of many years, given me a sense of safety and a relaxed environment with the elimination of outside noise. Job well done.

FB Doors was beyond exceptional. Thier attention to quality and detail was the most I've ever seen from a contractor. Very professional company.

Very professional service and high craftsmanship. Couldn't be happier with the entire process. From sale, to keeping me updated through the build process, to installation, and finally to final inspection. Everything was done thoroughly and professionally. Can't recommend highly enough.

I am very pleased with FB doors. They are very courteous and professional company, always attentive to the customer's needs assuring customer satisfaction at all times with their work.

I just had my impact windows and doors installation completed and it looks awesome. I had few different companies evaluating the job and giving me estimates. FB doors stood higher than others not only because of the price but customer service and level of professionalism.
I definitely recommend FB Doors to everyone.

I have contracted FBDoors for replacing a window. The technicians were right on time and completed the job quickly...and have done a great job. The place was cleaned up as well by the time they left. I would highly recommend them to my friends.

FBdoors failed to provide correct sized EXTERNAL impact door of 32in wide per contract and wants to install a smaller door leaving only a 27in opening
After looking at the reviews of FBdoors I decided to sign a contract for the purchase and installation of an external impact door for my guest house. The contract was signed on 10/09/18 and states that FBdoors is install 32inch by 80inch DOOR not door including frame as was my previously door and as is the temporary door that FBdoors left me with from *** after I noticed that they wanted to install a much smaller door that would leave me with an opening of just 27 inches for the only external door of the guest house. That is not what we agreed on and is not what was stated in the contract. The door they wanted to install had a 2 inch wide frame on each side and a quarter inch flap on each side leaving me with an opening of just 27.5 inches for an external door which my refrigerator and furniture would never be able to pass ***
The installation was suppose to take place this past Saturday and it has been nightmare since. They started to remove my previous door at around 10am and then prior to unboxing the impact door I asked to confirm the measurements because the door seemed to be smaller than previous door and it was. The door had an opening of just 27.5 inches. That is when installer realized the measurements taken by the company were incorrect and decided to call the owner who got upset at the installer and his assistant for not doing the initial measurements prior to destroying my door frame and removing my old door. The installer after realizing that without my old frame would not be able to put my old door back decided to add wood to each side of the doorway opening which is 36 inches by the way so that the impact door that is incorrect in size could temporarily fit in the doorway (I have pictures of this) since he knew and admitted that the door has to be 32 inches alone as per the contract considering the impact door has 2 inch frames on each side to fill in the 36 inches from one side of the wall to the other. After he temporarily put the door back the owner's mother comes to my property and begins screaming at the installer telling him that he was suppose to measure before doing anything and caused a huge commotion which ended with her screaming at the installer to get out of my property because another installer would be coming to takeover. Shortly after the second installer and his assistant arrived and the owner asked them to take apart the incorrect sized impact door that the 1st installers had installed and measure from wall to wall. This is when again they confirmed that the measurement was 36 inches and these installers again agreed that the door was done at the incorrect size because the door had fo be 32 inches as per the contract and with the 2 inch frame on each side would fill in the doorway and leave me with the same opening of 31.5-32 inches that my original door had and that is logical for an external door. This is when the owner asked the installer to AGAIN install the same incorrect sized impact door and I could not allow this to happen as they were trying to leave me with this smaller door with an opening of just 27.5 inches (Not what we ageeed/signed for). So the installers tells they owner that I refused the incorrect sized door and he told to then go to *** and buy a standard door at around 5pm. A little over a hour later the installer comes back with a door from *** to leave me with a door since the 1st installers had destroyed my original door frame and had taken my original door away in the 1st company truck after being screamed at to leave the property like children (very unprofessional) by the owner's mother. At this time they began installing the temporary door from *** and ended up finishing at 12:45AM after having some trouble with the hinges and had to troubleshoot until it was able to close and now you have to push the door in everytime with force in order to lock the door. It was the most horrible experience ever.

Desired Outcome

I have tried contacting FBdoors 3 times Monday and 5 times today (Tuesday). Yesterday (Monday) I was only able to speak with *** who is the "financial officer" and said she was going to review everything and speak with me today. Today I called 5 times at 1-2 hour intervals and not once did *** come to the phone. The only contact that have provided since Saturday was an email Monday at 11:00am and another Tuesday at 4pm trying to turn things around and play with me and telling me that the door is 32 inches which it is NOT. The door WITH the 2 inch frame on each side of the door is 32inches leaving me with a door much smaller than 32 inches and an opening of just 27.5 inches for a EXTERIOR door which is NOT what was agreed on in the contract. Saturday while on the phone with one of rhe managers they continued to try to push the incorrect door on me and they even offered me another client's door which was much biggwe 39 inches and they stated costs 800 dollars more if I paid them 400 additional dollars. I told them that I could not believe this and that I will not pay another dollar to them after everything they have made me go through. I am tired of this company playing games and not providing any customer service and pretending that door is 32 inches which it is not. I am asking for my 900 dollar deposit refunded as this has been a complete nightmare.

Customer ordered a door. As per signed contract with FB Doors Corp, he ordered a Lawson Doors with measures 32 x 80 Hinge Right, white frame, green glass white interlayer. When Fb doors team was in his property to install the doors, he rejected the door. Doors are custom made and because he rejected, door is still in our possession since FB Doors had to buy another door same installation day incurring in additional costs to cover the open uninstalled door. FB doors has explained to customer that he can sign a change order and pay additional cost if he wants to change the initial door ordered. He signed a contract and measures of the doors are the same specified in contract. FB Doors has been always in the best disposition to make a change order to be signed by customer and order a new door but customer denied to do it. Customer still has a balance with FB Doors Corp.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Good morning,

FBdoors continues to lie about the door width being 32 inches which it is not otherwise this complaint would have been avoided. The door is suppose to be 32 X 80 per contract and the door actually measures 28 inches which is not the 32 inches per our contract and would not allow my refrigerator or furniture to go through which measure 29-30 inches wide. They continue to play around and the balance that is pending is the remaining 900 dollars that is suppose to be paid upon arrival of the door I was contracted for so I do not owe anything until the correct door of 32 x 80 inches is provided and installed. I made my initial 900 dollar deposit on October 8th 2018 and they are trying to deny their mistake because the door was not made to the measurements of 32 x 80 inches and do not want to fix it to the correct measurement. As you can see they do not provide an explanation as to why the door was rejected because they know it is not 32 inches wide as stated in our contract and are trying to avoid/delay making a new door with the correct measurment of 32 x 80inches.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Good afternoon,

The few facts provided by the business in their previous response do not refute the allegations made against FB doors but instead prove that the company is admitting that I am correct and the width of the DOOR provided is only 27 and 7/8 inches wide and the DOOR is not 32 inches wide which is what is stated on the signed contract by both parties. With the company admitting to this by written statement they are admitting that the door was not made to the specifications of the contract which specifically states that the DOOR alone (NOT the unit including the frame) must be 32 inches wide x 80.
The contract is very clear in specifying ( DOOR 32 x 80 ).
This was the size of my previous door before the contract was signed and is this is the size I requested and signed for in the contract for my external door in order for my 29 inch refrigerator to be able to pass through the door opening as well as my furniture.

I do not understand what is the goal of the company in delaying my door by continuing to deny they are WRONG and made a door that is less than 28 inches wide which was NOT what the signed contract called for.

The company is trying to cover up their mistake in the width of the door. This is very poor customer service. The company has to take responsibility for their mistake. My previous door was 32x80 and allowed my furniture and refrigerator to go through and now the company wants to provide me with a door that is less than 28 inches (more than 4 inches less in width than what the contract is signed for). This is just unacceptable especially for an EXTERNAL door.

Dear Mr. ***, Project # ***

Re: Complaint regarding Entrance Door Size.

Thank you for taking the time to communicate to us, why our service did not meet your expectations.

We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve your issues as soon as possible.

I am sure that by bringing a few facts to your attention, we can resolve this matter quickly. Therefore, I would like to provide the following information to refute the allegations made against FB Doors.

As the existing door was installed according to the regulation of the moment, the new door installation must comply with the instructions given by the Approval issued by Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources of Miami-Dade County.

For this purpose, I attached copy of Notice of Acceptance NOA No. XX-XXXX.06, Lawson Outswing Glazed Aluminum French Doors LMI, Series "La Porte", including drawing details and installation procedures.

Doors approved as High Velocity Hurricane Zone -like yours- are marketed jointly as a Frame-Door-Hardware Prep Unit. A nominal size or trade size is a size "in name only" used for identification, and this case represents the width and height of the Aluminum French Door Unit.

The attached Contract for Service under Component Details specifies your request of a Right Hand
Lawson Door 32"x 80". Where 32" x 80 identifies the Nominal Size of the Unit.

For further understanding, below sectional top view drawing shows the unit components and their actual dimensions, in which 27 7/8" is the door-width, and 27" is the clear opening width.

Therefore, if you want to increase the size of your opening to install a wider door as you wish, we can do it through a change of contract with the corresponding additional charge to the initial value of your Contract for Service.

FB Doors, Corp. has every desire to address your needs, and provide the best solution available, to resolve your issues as soon as possible. After your approval we will proceed to conclude this project according to contract signed.

Should you need any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
***
FB Doors, Corp.

I contracted with FB Doors to replace all the windows and doors in our home and what a fantastic experience that was!

From the very start it was clear that this would be a full service operation performed by true professionals. Their work included the pulling of permits and hauling away of the old windows. Not only did they haul them away but they did so each day that they pulled out windows.

It was quite obvious in watching the teams work each day that they were concerned with what the boss would think. They knew that their work would be inspected and believe me it was. The owner was certainly a stickler for perfection. I really enjoyed dealing with the FB staff as they were extremely polite, cooperative and patient! We certainly feel that we got the best product and our money's worth to boot.

I'll certainly use this company for all window and door needs in the future.
