I am rejecting this response because:I have had voice messages from VW Credit, but I had not received the mailing from them that they had promised, so did not waste their time or mine. Requested docs were received last Saturday and I appreciate that they sent what I requested. However, I have emailed the Missouri Dept of Revenue after realizing VW Credit included use tax on remaining payments of my lease, which I believe may not be appropriate. Since I paid the full amount of sales tax on what amounts to the payoff amount (residual value less the unearned lease charges for remaining payments), I feel as though I have paid more sales/use tax than appropriateI will not attempt to call back VW Credit until such time I have an answer from MO Dept of RevenueIt is my thought that they may owe me sales tax collected at time of payoff. This may or may not offset property tax that they failed to collect at time of payoffOf interest in regard to property tax and lease terms; from Option to Purchase Before the End of the Lease Term on page 4: "Vehicle sale price will be the sum of"..."all officials' fees, taxes and other costs incurred for the purchase...and all other fees and charges then due under the Lease"

I am rejecting this response because: I received a call from a Volkswagen Representative whom said they sent a settlement letter in November and that it was not returned to them We never received a letter and were told to call headquarters and request a new one Unfortunately we called and remained on the line for over an hour without being able to talk to a human being Needless to say the issue has not been resolved It's been over a year and we have not received the settlement Calling a phone # where no one would answer did not resolve anything
