Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As I have stated previously  --  After speaking to the service writer  --  There was apparently only a visual inspection and an opinion (by the inspector) rendered.  There was no use of any machine to determine the light color.  White light can be separated by a prism into basically seven colors.   With YELLOW being approximately in the center of the visual wave spectrum.  As the light waves vary in frequency their color changes from red to violet and five colors in between.  If a mechanic can check my brakes to the millimeter, using a machine (not visually) then you should be able to check the nM frequency of the light emitted by my bulbs by a machine  --  no visual opinion would be needed.   I have both lights on my kitchen table right now and it appears that from 5% to 10% of the original coating is missing.  Keep in mind that the mechanic has physically handled them  --  they rubbed against the plastic bag  --  the service writer handled them (she was going to throw them away  --  but I asked to keep them)  --  them I handled the bulbs.  They still appear to show more than enough yellow color to be in the yellow color light spectrum  --since only 5% to 10% of the yellow coating is missing.I am NOT satisfied with your visual inspection.

Dear [redacted],

This matter has not been resolved. In fact, I am still very upset that my  personal information was given out by Pedersen Toyota without my permission. I know there are laws out there against this and I was wondering if the Revdex.com would be able to help me with this or do I need to hire an attorney.

In addition, we discovered that Pedersen Toyota did not give us all the required paperwork (We Owe You Agreement meaning what they owe us) from the sale of our 2010 [redacted] pickup and requested on August 25, 2014 that they mail us that paperwork. As of this date, we have not received the required paperwork.

I would like consumers to know that this has been the worst vehicle buying experience through a dealership in my entire life and I will never recommend Pedersen Toyota to anyone EVER!! They also should know that Pedersen Toyota is a shady business with shady business practices.

If you need anything else in regards to this matter please let me know. I appreciate your time in this matter.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

I have attached a copy of the email correspondence I had with Acura of Escondido. On Friday, January 2 at 4:59pm, [redacted] wrote about a deal that he wanted me to come in on Saturday, January 3 to close. This is highlighted below in red:Lucy:
I have a smoking deal for you on an AWD RDX.  With the $800 due at
signing that you mentioned, I can offer this vehicle to you on a
36-month lease, with 10,000 miles per year, for the incredibly low
payment of only $358.37 plus tax!  That’s lower than the previous price
you were quoted for a 2WD.  Please let me know if you will be here in
the morning to complete the deal.
His reference of whether I will be at the dealership in the morning meant very clearly that the deal would still be upheld on Saturday. That prompted me to then reply that I will be at the dealership at 9:30am on Saturday to close the deal. All of these correspondences are documented in the attached email chain. [redacted] also acknowledged this when I showed him his email agreement on Saturday that he made an offer that cannot be upheld due to miscommunications about the expiration of an incentive. Per the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act (UETA) that California adopted in 1999, all email correspondences can be deemed as a legally binding contract. To provide a mutually accepting offer via email and over the phone on Friday night for me to come in on Saturday to close that deal and then retracting that deal when the customer arrives to the dealership is not acceptable and breaks the contractual agreement via email per the UETA.
Regards,
Lucy Curtin

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  We received the check for the balance yesterday, August 3, 2015.I did, however, check with [redacted] for the dates of the various steps from their records. Not surprisingly, they told a different story than Acura of Escondido. [redacted]'s records show the following: (Again, I turned the vehicle over to Acura of Escondido on 6/15/2015); [redacted] received payment from Acura on 6/25/2015; The DMV paperwork was sent to Acura on 7/4/2015. We won't be doing business with Acura of Escondido again. We're driving a [redacted] now.

I am rejecting this response because: we never received the "We Owe" paperwork and that is why we requested a copy which we have never received. I am not dealing with this shady business anymore. Forget them working on the truck. Forget ever doing business with them.
