Review: After closer inspection this business has consistent below average to failed buisness services.Vendor avoids repeated attempts to confirm status of order. Order cost was over 120.00 $. Vendor gave turn around time of nine weeks, and that was April of 2014 ! Vendor complains of health problems and delivery is out of his control. Vendor will not and has responded to repeated attempts to refund monies due to poor and non existent service.Desired Settlement: Requesting immediate refund Including shipping and handling , or immediate shipping of this Tomohawk with tracking info.

All concerned ,

Review: I ordered the Roger's Rangers Tomahawk on 1/19/2012, a year and a half ago! After having the full amount for the tomahawk paid and deducted from my account I waited several months without receiving my item or hearing anything on whether or not it had shipped. I tried to contact the seller by phone and email multiple times and received unsatisfactory responses. I have sent emails asking for a refund which I have not received.Desired Settlement: I would like the goods sent or a full refund. As it sits now $138 was stolen from me. If I do not have the Tomahawk in the next month I am going to blog on every customer satisfaction blog I can find and continue to file complaints wherever possible.

Review: Fort Turner has not made my product or will not give me a refund! They have taken my money and not delivered product.

I placed an order for 1 camp tomahawk and 1 burgandy sheath on March 4th. This product was charged to my credit card ($132.95)that day. I emailed Dana Turner on June 1 and June 23 with no reply. On June 24th, Dana called and said he found a flaw in the tomahawk and I would have it the following week of July 4th. Nothing. I then emailed Dana again on July 21, and no reply. I've called since then and no reply.Desired Settlement: Dana has had ample time to complete this order, almost 5 months now. I want a refund.

I finally received my order 6 months later! The product is of good quality, but never again will I deal with this company!

Review: On 3-15-2013, I ordered a product from this business under their statement that I would receive it "in about 8 weeks".That 8 week wait turned into a year, I sent an email regarding my order, from which I received a reply on3-21-14 stating that they would ship my order shortly.Nine more months go by. I didn't receive anything from them. No email updates and certainly nothing I'd paid for.So on November 1, 2014 I sent another email demanding either the item I bought, or a full refund. It's now two months later, and I have not received my item. I also have not received a refund. And additionally, I have not received any further emailsfrom this company.*Note: as I write this their website still makes the false claim that orders will be shipped in about 8 weeks, which is NOT TRUE. There's a big difference in 8 weeks and nearly TWO YEARS.Desired Settlement: I'm not even interested in what I ordered anymore. I'm so furious with Fort Turner's false statements and lack of communication that I no longer want it. I've been lied to and I just want my money back. I will do no morebusiness with this company. Ever.

Review: I paid for their product $58 in December of 2012. I received a telephone call stating that there was delay and would ship in February. Received a followup email that my purchase would ship in first week of March. Some time during the middle of March a post was placed in the shipping section that orders were eight weeks out. Now it is May and I have not received the merchandise that I ordered.

Either send the item I purchased or refund my money - with six months interest. I realize the amount is small but it is the principal. This guy is taking money from people on-line and handing them a bunch of excuses.

Co. stated- I got your letter and chucked it because this is ridiculous. People don't read or understand that my items are literally hand crafted, and aren't just in a warehouse sitting on a shelf waiting to be shipped. This guy has called and called and is [redacted]. Anyways, he received his product about 3 weeks ago, so this is resolved. He even sent me an email letting me know how great it is.

Review: Ordered a tomahawk on Feb 3 2014. Website stated 8 weeks for delivery. Paid in full $138.95 at time of order. Credit card was charged. Called around the 8 week mark and was told several more weeks. Waited patiently until the end of July. Since then have called multiple times. Some times mailbox is full and cannot leave message. Other times have left message asking for a return phone call, none received, and other times asked for the item to be delivered or a refund issued. Also sent email that went unanswered.Desired Settlement: I want the item I bought and paid for almost 7 months ago immediately or I want a full refund immediately.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Received my hand forged knife within two weeks of ordering. The product is beautifully crafted. I am very happy with the service they provided and will order from

Fort Turner again.

Review: I ordered a Trapper tomahawk and brown sheath on 11/3/15. An email was sent to me by Fort Turner on 11/3 asking me to confirm my order and shipping address. I did so and my credit card was charged $139.45. There was NO mention of back orders or wait times on the website. In fact, the owner ([redacted]) emailed me and said he would have it done by the end of the month of November 2015. I sent several emails and called the business number on the website with no reply. I finally called from a different number and spoke with [redacted] on 3/7/16. He gave me "his word" he would look into why he had no memory of my order and what happened to it. He said he would call me back. He also gave me his word I would have my order by Saturday 3/12/16. I have not received either the explanation or the order as of today 3/14/16. I have been unsuccessful at reaching him be email or phone today. I would like a full refund of my money. I have records of the emails and calls that have gone unanswered, as well as the email where my order was confirmed.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $139.45 ASAP.

Review: On December 9, 2013, I ordered two tomahawks with sheaths and extra handles. My MC was charged the next day for $201.90. When I ordered, they indicated that there would be a slight delay as they were behind. I contacted FT by email in March or April of 2013 and they replied that my order would be shipping in a few weeks. I have yet to see this order. I have emailed FT three times in the last few weeks and get no reply.Desired Settlement: My opinion of Fort Turner has become quite low and I no longer want their product. I want a refund.

Review: I ordered my product in Feb. of 2013. [redacted] told me it would take 2 weeks to build and 1 to ship. After that I asked what the hold up was, [redacted] said he had been in the hospital and was now out, and that he would get my product to me.I still have not got it.He has stopped responding to calls and emails.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: I would like to get the product I paid for or my money back.

People don't read or understand that my items are literally hand crafted, and aren't just in a warehouse sitting on a shelf waiting to be shipped. It takes at least 8 weeks as disclaimed on my web site.

Review: I ordered a tomahawk from Fort [redacted] in January 2014. It is December 2014 and I still haven't received it. I have e-mailed [redacted], owner, and received responses with empty promises. I also called and spoke to [redacted] to no avail, more empty promises. [redacted] billed my credit card immediately after the order, but seemed to forget about me when it comes to the delivery. Based upon the current circumstances, it appears that [redacted] has no intention of providing me with the product as promised.Desired Settlement: I want my money back

Review: Product was ordered 2/12/2014. On 3/28/2014 I email Fort Turner asking if they would respond so I new it was a working company. I received a reply on 4/3/2014 that he was working on it. That it takes about a month to complete. On 5/12/2014 I sent another email "do you have a delivery date yet?" Same day I get a response. "Hi [redacted] , Yep , should be next week . Best Regards , [redacted]" On 5/27/2014 sent another email "this week?" On 5/28/2014 in another email I asked he ship it by 5/30/2014 or I wanted a complete refund. No response. Sent emails on 6/4/2014,6/15/2014, and today 6/24/2014. I've had zero response from [redacted] at Fort Turner since 5/12/2014.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $138.95 place back into my account. I don't want the product any longer.

Review: I ordered a Roger's Ranger tomahawk from Fort Turner on 17 May 2014. They charged my credit card, sent a confirmation of the order. The Tomahawk was for my son who is a light Infantry officer and ranger in the 2-4 INF. I explained this as well when asked to confirm the shipping address information order via e-mail. At the time he had just returned from Afghanistan and is now preparing to deploy to a South American country. I've emailed Fort Turner asking if they would at least acknowledge the order recently after not hearing anything when I emailed about when I could expect delivery. I've attempted to be patient, since they claim to be backlogged. However, not responding to e-mails to even indicate they acknowledge the order.Desired Settlement: I want the item delivered as paid for to present to him before he deploys with his platoon. It's that simple. They did not hesitate to take payment, now it's time to make good on their promise to deliver a quality product.

Review: I ordered a Fort Turner Tomahawk and Sheath on Feb. 13, 2013 and my credit card account was charged on Feb 13th,2013 for $177.95. To date I have not received my order. I have e-mailed Fort Turner many times starting as far back as May 22,2013 about the status of filling my order. Fort Turner replied to some of my e-mails. The replies included on May 22, 2013 that it would ship in next couple of weeks, Aug 9,2013 that I was on the short list, Oct 2,2013 he was getting close and on Nov 19, 2013 his power hammer was broken and a new one ordered and that he was out of production till his new one arrived. Have not had a reply too any e-mails after Nov 19,2013. On Feb 25,2014 I asked by e-mail for credit if the order would not be shipped soon. I also recently tried to contact by phone and left a message requesting a return call. It is alarming that the Fort Turner website is up and running as if they were operating the business in a highly reputable manner. The website still states that they are 8 weeks out on filling orders.Desired Settlement: I would like the order shipping confirmed in the next 15 to 30 days or a refund issued to my credit card account.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I received my Hawk and sheath today. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. Fort Turner sent me an e-mail explaining his situation and reasons for the delay in filling order. The order was shipped 3 day USPS soon after receiving the e-mail. Hopefully the business will be able to clean up their delivery issues because they are making an excellent Tomahawk. Thanks to Revdex.com of NE California for the help.

Review: I ordered a tomahawk 8 months ago and he refuses to give me a refund. He's been giving me the run around.

I ordered the item around Christmas and waited 6 months, I was then told I would have the item within the month. It's now been 8 months and [redacted] refuses to give me a refund. He told me to walk a mile in his shoes and then hung up the phone on me. I then left a message on his phone telling him to give me a refund.Desired Settlement: I simply want my 150 dollars back. Just a refund.

Review: I ordered a tomahawk from Fort Turner. I was billed and money taken from my account for purchase. That was August 10th of 2014. Since then I have emailed asking politely for updates or any info on when I would get my order. Then I asked for a refund. I have never gotten a response of any kind and now it is April 11th 2015. I was willing to wait for a quality product but this isn't right. I paid nearly $80.00 and have gotten nothing.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get what I paid for or I'd like my money back.

Final Consumer Response

I have received my tomahawk today so please remove the complaint! My husband and I are VERY pleased with the product and the owner sent me a very nice apology with a better explanation for the reason for the delay. We are very happy we finally received our order and the quality of the product is excellent! Thanks for helping us with this matter.

Review: Placed an order for a tomahawk last week in June. His web page stated it would be 8 weeks before delivery however it has been 18 weeks.

Placed an order online through Fort Turner's webpage for a Trapper Tomahawk on approx. 6/30/12 - 7/3/12. The total cost for the tomahawk including shipping was $83.95 which went through my bank [redacted] on 7/5/12. Fort Turner's website stated due to order back orders it would take about 8 weeks for delivery. It has now been about 18 weeks since I placed the order and I have not received the tomahawk. I have placed numerous phone calls to the owner of the company and each time he apologized and stated he would complete my order and place it in the mail. On October 10th I spoke with the owner again, who promised me I would have it by the following week. I didn't receive it. I placed a phone call to him on 10/21 inquiring why I didn't receive it but to date have not received a response. I called again today and left a message requesting a refund and to notify him that I would be filing a complaint with Revdex.com. I have also sent him two emails to which he never responded. Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $83.95.

Initial Business Response

this order has been shipped to customer. explained to customer I was having medical problems & was extremely back logged , I was very apologetic for the wait. this is a hand made item. didn't respond to customer due to the customer was very rude & left an extremely nasty voice mail.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We did receive the tomahawk and are satisfied.

In response to Fort Turner's response to the original complaint, I want to state that he at no time shared with me that he was having medical issues. He did state that his in-laws where having problems and that it had been a rough year. If he would have been honest right from the start and simply stated that he needed an additional month or two months, we would have at least known what we were facing but he kept promising to ship it right away. He should also update his web page so that his customers understand that it will take longer than the 8 weeks he has posted as it taking to complete the order that way customers aren't anticipating a delivery after 8 weeks.

In response to his statement that I left a rude voice mail, he is lying. I never left a rude voice mail. When I did leave a message, it was simply that he failed to deliver as promised and that he needed to fix the problem.

I also shared with him that I had asked around to his other customers to see if they had experienced difficulties with him. For the most part his customers said that he was always running behind, but that he was an honorable man and that he would eventually ship our order. I chose to believe what they said and accepted his apology and his promise to ship our order by the following week. But he never shipped the order as he promised and he no longer answered the phone or returned my calls. He left me with no other option than to contact the Revdex.com.

In closing, I am happy that he honored my order and shipped it. He enclosed a note of apology which was thoughtful and he included an extra hawk handle which was a nice gesture as well.

I wish him well and hold no bad feelings towards him.

Review: A Rogers Ranger tomahawk was ordered in April 2014 and paid in full at that time.Despite repeated calls and emails to Fort Turner, and promises of delivery made in August 2014 by [redacted], the item still has not been received. Website committed to delivery in approximately 8 weeks.Desired Settlement: Either deliver the item or refund the purchase price plus costs for the inconvenience and aggravation.

Review: I ordered from Fort turner Aug 12th 2014 .noted on site an 8 week wait. I feel myself and others are being lied to and taken advantage of.I have not received my product or any info.this company has earned a very poor reputation.Desired Settlement: I want my money back !I have lost faith in this company ,full refund.
