very bad experience with founders insurance company in Indiana
Founders insurance company in Indiana is refusing to pay our insurance claims for over 3 years.
We provided Founders insurance company with two HIPAA Medical Authorization for two years of access of medical record. Founders did nothing in processing of claims, and now they are requesting the additional the HIPAA Medical Authorization. The purpose of this delay is to dismiss and not to pay our claims.

Insurance associate Gina Santonastaso with support of her supervisor Michael Morse made up some preexisting condition for my daughter – chronic migraine, which were never diagnosed by doctors. Founders insurance company refused to informed us about our rights in this insurance case in Indiana. We were trying to make a complaint to the executive of Founders insurance, but associates Gina and Michael refused to provide us with the contact information.

Founders insurance company provided incorrect, misleading, incomplete, and materially untrue information on key issue of this dispute to Indiana Department of Insurance and that is violation of Indiana insurance code (Title 27 of the Indiana Code). The IDOI is not resolving consumer complaints, but protecting illegal activity of the Founders insurance.

At the end of october I was involved in a car accident with someone who was insured by this companyI valled to make my claim and was told I needed to go to the tow yard and release my vehicle to the company and gather my belongingsI DIDIt was not until almost two months later that I received a phone call back from themI had called a few times in between and each time they said they were working on the claim still, which for a car that was totaled should not have taken so long I dont believe we even got the offer from them until JANUARYNow in the ONE phone call I did receive from them they had no clue where my car was even at! I had to inform them it was still waiting in the tow yard, released to them and waitingMy bf finally started contacting them through email, I think initially speaking with wendy who seems to be the only one there that knows how to interact with customers and their next wxcuse was that they were waiting for receipt for the car seat that was damaged in the accidentSo we sent the receiptNow he we are february I had the unfortunate luck of soeaking with employee Carina, who tried to tell me my car seat was still safe after the accident, that "maybe I should go back and read the emails and talk with my bf" and continuously cuttng me off when I was speaking And after being told one thing by other employees Carina now says well we need this this and this to prove your claim with the carseat its not damagedRude enployee all aroundHorrible company will also be making a complaint with the department of insurance against them

Dear Sir or Madam, The date of loss for the claim reported was 7/18/so the Ms [redacted] is mistaken that this claim has been open since June 19thAdditionally the vehicle was determined to be a total loss within the first week of the claim, and once we received the total loss paperwork from Ms [redacted] and her lien holder, the claim was settled on 8/8/With regard to rental, rental reimbursement, we received her rental receipt on 8/8/ Payment hasbeen requested We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and we always strive to create a positive claim experience

I usually do not complain about things to the point of going on the Revdex.com but I have to let people know the horrible experience I had with founders insurance who insures vehicles for [redacted] insuranceI filed a claim with founders after a person with their insurance hit meFor weeks straight I tried to get in contact with the adjuster named Karina [redacted] and did not talk to her onceI must have left about ten voicemails at different times of the dayI also contacted the folks who have their insurance and they said they have left her numerous messages and no call from her She returned phone call about weeks later that I missedAfter weeks I warned her through a voicemail that I would go through my insurance if I did not receive a call back but I would report her for such unprofessional customer serviceStill no call so I called my insuranceNot Surprisingly I receive a letter a week later from Karina stating that they denied my claim and said the accident was my fault when clearly it was notI don't know if the Founders company is horrible itself or if Karina is just really unorganized and unsympatheticStay away from united auto insurance and founders insuranceYour better off going through your own insurance

We regret that our insured non cooperation which is a violation of coverage, has caused us to be unable to complete our investigation Consequently we have issued a denial of coverage Also we were unable to determine if the estimate submitted is in line or not, because the photos of the damages do not show the lift gate or rear bumper of the vehicleThe pictures submitted only show underneath the rear bumperWe cannot accurately determine the damage.If our insured later cooperates we may be able to reverse our denial and provide coverage, but at this time the denial stands as the insured is in violation of policy conditions

I was involved in an accident with a customer, Terry [redacted] of Founder's Insurance back on 12/19/and I have yet to receive compensation for the accident I was in the Mcdonald's drive thru when their customer's foot slipped off the brake pedal and rear ended me in my car I can't get anyone to return my email, haven't talked to anyone in over a month, and when I do talk to someone in customer service they transfer me to a manager who is always out of the office Then said manager will never return my call Their customer was completely at fault yet it has taken them over months, then I find out that my adjuster is no longer with the company so my paperwork was probably just pushed to the side I don't know who in their right mind would want to waste their money on paying a premium to this awful company I will be contacting the Illinois Insurance Board

after all the reviews I was skeptical and worriedNov 22,a carrier for founders rear-ended mecontrary to the review founders had my claim processed and ready to goby the time I called them to put in a claim the person who hit me already had put their claim ina little over a month and my check was in the mail and the shop already has done the estimate my date to get the car repaired is the 16th of January the process was fast and hassle free

The Complainant is a third party claimant making a claim against our insured's policy We accepted 100% liability on behalf of our insured, and one of our staff appraisers wrote an estimate on the Complainant's vehicle in the amount of $ We tendered an offer to the Complainant in that amount and the offer was rejected The Complainant's vehicle is a Honda Odyssey, which does not warrant an new bumper, so the estimate was written with an after market rear bumper Our offer remains open to the Complainant if he chooses to accept it It should be noted that after market parts are of the same quality as new parts and in some cases are of better quality Regarding the Complainant's request for a rental vehicle, we did accommodate him and honor his request for a van due to his circumstances However, we have no direct bill arrangement with any rental company, so a the rental will be on a reimbursement basis It should be noted that from a legal standpoint, damages are not recoverable unless an expense is incurred

This insurance company will not return calls or emails..totally ignore you We've had a matter pending against them for over months..very unprofessionalGuess they hope people will be frustrated enough to just drop the matter
