I would like to say the customer service I have experienced on the phone since the first initial contact has been horrible. No one can see my claim in the system by the claim number but keeps sending me to someone named Juliet [redacted]. I have left numerous emails for her to get back in contact with me and have yet to hear anything from her or anyone concerning my claim and the time frame it will take for it to be handled. The company is not lining up with professionalism, responding back in a timely manner, and caring about the needs of those who pay for their services. I am highly disappointed in Founders Insurance Company with the way they handle the claims and the lack of professionalism when I have called to get information.

Founders Insurance Company deemed Ms. [redacted] vehicle to
be a total loss. Founders did not have the actual mileage of the vehicle until
October 25
size="2">th, 2016. Once the mileage information was received the
correct Actual Cash Value was determined and an offer has now been made to Ms. [redacted].
As far as the car seats are concerned, Ms. [redacted] was
paid for them on October 18th 2016.

The total loss claim remains open as we need the Power of Attorney form from Ms. [redacted] both signed and notarized.  We revived the Letter of Guarantee and Copy of Title from the lien holder.  The file notes indicate that the insured and her lien holder were...

At the end of october I was involved in a car accident with someone who was insured by this company. I valled to make my claim and was told I needed to go to the tow yard and release my vehicle to the company and gather my belongings. I DID. It was not until almost two months later that I received a phone call back from them. I had called a few times in between and each time they said they were working on the claim still, which for a car that was totaled should not have taken so long I dont believe we even got the offer from them until JANUARY. Now in the ONE phone call I did receive from them they had no clue where my car was even at! I had to inform them it was still waiting in the tow yard, released to them and waiting. My bf finally started contacting them through email, I think initially speaking with wendy who seems to be the only one there that knows how to interact with customers and their next wxcuse was that they were waiting for receipt for the car seat that was damaged in the accident. So we sent the receipt. Now he we are february I had the unfortunate luck of soeaking with employee Carina, who tried to tell me my car seat was still safe after the accident, that "maybe I should go back and read the emails and talk with my bf" and continuously cuttng me off when I was speaking. And after being told one thing by other employees Carina now says well we need this this and this to prove your claim with the carseat its not damaged. Rude enployee all around. Horrible company will also be making a complaint with the department of insurance against them.

Founders is the worst insurance company ever. They give you the run around and getting ahold of a claims representative is like pulling teeth. I was hit by a drunk driver insured by founders. The driver hit me and tried running. Driver was given a breathalyzer check at accident and was determined that he was drunk. Went and got a estimate done on my truck and turned it into founders. After days of calling I finally got in touch with the claims representative Ashley [redacted] or how ever you spell her last name. She told me that the body shop I took it uses wrong parts and they needed a new estimate. Not sure how they have a A+ raiting with the Revdex.com cause all I have seen online is complaint after complaint. I will be contacting the Indiana board of Insurance and make a complaint against founders. Revdex.com needs to change there raiting to a big fat F.

The Complainant is a third party claimant making a claim against our insured's policy.  We accepted 100% liability on behalf of our insured, and one of our staff appraisers wrote an estimate on the Complainant's vehicle in the amount of $673.21.  We tendered an offer to the Complainant...

in that amount and the offer was rejected.  The Complainant's vehicle is a 2010 Honda Odyssey, which does not warrant an new bumper, so the estimate was written with an after market rear bumper.  Our offer remains open to the Complainant if he chooses to accept it.  It should be noted that after market parts are of the same quality as new parts and in some cases are of better quality.  Regarding the Complainant's request for a rental vehicle, we did accommodate him and honor his request for a van due to his circumstances.  However, we have no direct bill arrangement with any rental company, so a the rental will be on a reimbursement basis.  It should be noted that from a legal standpoint, damages are not recoverable unless an expense is incurred.

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted] and apologize for her difficulty reaching our adjuster.  Our claim reflects that she and the adjuster did speak on 7/22/16 when she was advised that we ahd an estimate but no photos of her vehicle.  On 7/28/16 we received the photos and the adjuster called and again spoke with Ms. [redacted]  She was advised that we were still trying to reach our insured to confirm the facts of loss before liability could be accepted. 
On 8/10/16 the adjuster again spoke with Ms. [redacted] and advised coverage and liability was accepted.  Ms. [redacted] advised she had decided to go through her own carrier.  We now await supports from her carrier. 
We apologize that there was a delay in the investigation, but we needed to speak with our insured to confirm he facts of loss.

On October 24th my daughter was involved with a person who has Founders Insurance. The accident was was the fault of the person insured with Founders, there were two witnesses as well. My daughters car was totaled. It's been three weeks as of 11/14/16 and she still hasn't received a rental car. She has had to borrow a different car every other day to get to school and work. I along with my insurance company have left numinous messages daily with a supervisor. I have spoken to him three times. But I have found the people rarely return phone calls or emails. I still haven't heard the the person who is supposed to give me a price for her care. The people on the customer support are very short and unprofessional.

I usually do not complain about things to the point of going on the Revdex.com but I have to let people know the horrible experience I had with founders insurance who insures vehicles for [redacted] insurance. I filed a claim with founders after a person with their insurance hit me. For 3 weeks straight I tried to get in contact with the adjuster named Karina [redacted] and did not talk to her once. I must have left about ten voicemails at different times of the day. I also contacted the folks who have their insurance and they said they have left her numerous messages and no call from her. She returned 1 phone call about 2 weeks later that I missed. After 3 weeks I warned her through a voicemail that I would go through my insurance if I did not receive a call back but I would report her for such unprofessional customer service. Still no call so I called my insurance. Not Surprisingly I receive a letter a week later from Karina stating that they denied my claim and said the accident was my fault when clearly it was not. I don't know if the Founders company is horrible itself or if Karina is just really unorganized and unsympathetic. Stay away from united auto insurance and founders insurance. Your better off going through your own insurance.

Mr. [redacted] vehicle was inspected on May 13, 2016. Founders received the estimate on 5/13/16 and on 5/17/16 (2 business days later) the Founders Staff appraiser determined that the vehicle was a possible total loss and needed a re-inspection. The re-inspection was completed on 5/25/16 and Mr....

[redacted] was advised that his vehicle was a total loss on 5/26/16. Founders handled the claim in an expeditious manner.

We regret that our insured non cooperation which is a violation of coverage, has caused us to be unable to complete our investigation.  Consequently we have issued a denial of coverage. 
 Also we were unable to determine if the estimate submitted is in line or not, because...

the photos of the damages do not show the lift gate or rear bumper of the vehicle. The pictures submitted only show underneath the rear bumper. We cannot accurately determine the damage.If our insured later cooperates we may be able to reverse our denial and provide coverage, but at this time the denial stands as the insured is in violation of policy conditions.

Very poor on communications and will not respond to emails no matter who you send them to, Other driver was at fault and is is over a month and several phone calls and even more email and still waiting for police report is the excuse from them. If you are hit by some one with this insurance company you are better claiming on your own and letting them do the fighting as it will be forever before someone from Founders will get back to you. Even complained through the web site twice and never got a response.

Run away fast. As snow in Aruba is more likely than getting some one to help you from this company.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told that an amount of approximately $3200 was the original estimate and that a check would be sent out by Angie [redacted]. Then, I was sent to their Special Investigations Unit and the investigator closed the case in my favor. After this I was told that a check would be sent out again. Thereafter, calls went unreturned for weeks. When I finally got in touch with the manager Arthur Shipp,  he told me that someone would call me the next day. I received a call approximately two days later and I was told that only the left side of my vehicle would be fixed. This insurance company has made excuse after excuse, not to pay for the vehicle. My car was hit into my garbage cans in the rear of my house. They are saying that this damage couldn't have happened by a garbage can. They never came out to my residence to complete an investigation. They are just making up excuses not to be responsible for my damaged vehicle.

after all the reviews I was skeptical and worried.. Nov 22,2016 a carrier for founders rear-ended me. contrary to the review founders had my claim processed and ready to go. by the time I called them to put in a claim the person who hit me already had put their claim in... a little over a month and my check was in the mail and the shop already has done the estimate my date to get the car repaired is the 16th of January the process was fast and hassle free.

Hi my name is Dwayne I've been with this company almost a year and I had a situation happen to me. My house got broken into and they stole some stuff from my house and also stole my car as well I asked my insurance company what can I do about this they said it would be an investigation I called and I got a person name James [redacted]. This person was very condescending very disrespectful and not professional at all when he's telling me about my case is pretty much laughing about it not helping me out at all falsely give me information about certain things as well I would definitely not recommend anyone to sign up for insurance for this company that happened August 6th and I'm still dealing with this they told me 30 days later things will be resolved as more than 30 days now about to be another month any still not helping me worst company ever please do not promote this company

It took the company over three months to make this determination. Also the vehicle was not being driven when it was hit, it was parked and I am not the primary policy holder.
The primary policy holder has a valid insurance. I feel that this was a discriminatory practice.

On December 20,2016, I spoke with the complainant, [redacted], and explained that Founders Insurance never received his estimate.  I asked him to email the estimate directly to me and stayed on the line with him; however, although he confirmed it was sent I never received the...

email. I contacted our IT Department and it was determined that Mr. [redacted] emails were being blocked by the spam filtering system.  Our IT Department white listed his email and I was able to successfully receive his estimate and a check for $605.22 was requested immediately.  Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
