I was involved in a rear end collision with a person that was insured by FoundersPolice report was filed, all the paperwork and statements were takenAfter a month I am still waiting on a call back from themJust hope no one else out there gets hit by anyone with Founders, its a sure bet to just use your own insurance company and eat the deductible!

On January 7, I was in my car at a total stop behind a SUV on Lagrange Rd when I was suddenly hit from behind After the officer arrived, the lady who hit me approached my car with her two daughters to apologizeShe told Officer R*** #*** and I, “I apologize I was looking at the fender bender on the side of the road and wasn’t able to stop in time” She claimed to be doing on 15-miles per hour when she hit me but both Officer R*** and the fireman on the scene believes (told my husband and I) that she was going much fasterThey believe that she was going 40-miles per hour She was issued a citation for the incident None of the other parties involved received citationsFounder insurance has yet to fix my car and it's been almost days They keep giving me all types of excusesIt's been a nightmare

TERRIBLE COMPANY! If there was a way to give negative stars, I would! It took over a month to get paid for my claimThe estimate was drastically inaccurateI couldn't get in touch with my adjuster for weeksThey said I accepted the estimate when I never talked to anyone about itAnd everytime I called, I spoke with a different representative and they ALL had the same *** attitude as if I was disturbing them!

This car insurance company does not answer the phone, return calls, even when yo leave voicemailsThey also have a priority of taking months to handle the claim processNot one ounce of ethics or customer appreciationAlso only a po box available generally they actually share offices with another insurance companyI wonder if would be any different experience with that company?

Founders insurance company is not a good companyI slid into a guard rail from the roads being slick and they totaled my town and country because they said that the repairs cost too muchthen they used an appraisal company called *** that priced my vehicle at $They sent me a power of attorney for me to sign so they can send it to my finance company and I did itafter I did that, my finance company called me and told me that founders insurance company told them that they cut me a check and I cashed itI am soo upset with this company that it's making my head spinI never received a check from my insurance and I still don't have a car for equal valueI keep calling founders but they never answer their phonesI am soo diappointed in this insurance companyPLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING THIS AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY...I WILL NEVER INSURE WITH THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THIS SITUATION ALSO COST ME MY JOB

Upon our notice of this loss, the handling adjuster immediately began an investigation into this matter. This loss was reported to Founders Insurance company by the complainant. Please be advised that the complainant in this matter is not our consumer. Mr*** is a third
party claimant pursuing a claim for property damages against our insured's policy. Accordingly, in order to proceed forward with this matter, a statement was needed from our insured. Unfortunately, our initial attempts to contact our insured were unsuccessful. Our investigation into this matter continued.
Upon completion of our investigation, the handling adjuster contacted the complainant on February 23, and presented a settlement offer in the amount of $1487.83. This amount reflected 100% of the complainant's damage estimate. The complainant accepted our offer and payment was processed. I was in an accident with another driver I was stopped The other vehicle drove straight into me The driver had Founders Insurance I filed a claim and never heard back I chased them for weeks and they asked me to get an estimate at only one choice location Once I sent the estimate, I was told they would not cover it because of "technicalities"

We are in receipt of Ms***'s complaint requesting settlement for her son's property damage claim and reimbursement for his medical expense.
Please be advised that the accident involves four vehicles and we require
all the property damage claim information for all vehicles to rule out a property damage limits issue. Ms*** has agreed to provide us with photos of her son's vehicle and once we receive we will review and determine if repairable or a total lossOnce the damages are determined we will be in a position to advise and resolve the property damage claims. The Complainant is a third party claimant pursuing a claim against our Insured's policy. The settlement offer was actually $433.16, and this is the first we have heard that the offer was accepted. We will immediately issue the settlement check to the Complainant and her attorney

Awful company had to call several times to get a claim filed and to get my refund after I canceled the policy

The Complainant's policy cancelled on January 25, for non payment of her premiumShe reinstated the
policy effective February 22, and subsequently reported a hit and run accident wherein her vehicle was hit while parked in a church parking lotThere is no police report or anything else that readily proved that the loss occurred while the policy was in forceWe have conducted an investigation, which included an interview of the ComplainantShe stated that she parked her vehicle on Saturday, February 23, 2014, and went on a bus trip to *** Saturday was actually on the 22ndShe stated that she returned home at 3:00PM the next day but did not notice the extensive damage to her right door until the next morningAs evidence of her trip she provided a receipt for a purchase she made at a store in *** but the receipt was dated February 23, at 5:52PMGiven the evidence we have on file, the date of loss has not been establishedTherefore, we are holding this matter in abeyance until such time the date of loss is proven

went to the emergency room due to any complaints from a motor vehicle accident

founder’s insurance is completely unprofessional and is not sympathetic at all to it’s customer’s needsIn October of 2015, I was an unfortunate victim of a robbery and a car theftA stranger opened my car door and grabbed my purse out, which contains all essential information such as my social security card, ids, credit card information..basically my whole life and a lot of cash that was not mineOf course, I attempted to chase the person but stopped when I realized I couldn't catch up to the personas soon as I turned around to get into my car, someone else hopped into my car and drove awayI was devastated and shockedHow heartless can someone be--to witness me get robbed, and instead of helping or feeling sorry for me, you steal my car! I called the police immediately and made a police report and then put in a claim with my insurance company to hopefully receive some funds since that’s under my coverage planMy car was found a couple of months later and the engine was completely stripped and undriveable, I had to tow itFounder’s insurance made the process much worseOver the course of the investigation- I lost my job because I could commute to it, I was severely depressed and whenever I called my claims adjuster, Blanca ***, about the status, she never answered my calls and then would call and leave me a voicemail weeks later giving me a vague answer such as “upper management is still reviewing your files” for months! It wasn't until I got fed up and asked for the contact information to her “upper management” was when I received a responselong story short, after months of looking into my claim, they denied it because I left my car keys in the car, which was crazy because I didn't wilfully neglect the car keys- I was robbed! I reached out to a friend who works as an insurance sales agent and she told me how horrible Founder’s was and how this wasn't the first time she’s heard something like this for a customerNEVER GET THIS INSURANCE COMPANYI regret it for the rest of my lifeNot to mention, I also became the victim of identity theft shortly after--whoever grabbed my purse of my car is using my personal information and its ruined my creditI would at least expect Founder’s to cover my car, but they didn'tthey do not care

I would give this company negative stars if I couldI was rear-ended by a founder's insured driver -- she totaled my car, and is 100% at fault, as I was fully stopped in trafficI received a claim number from the person who hit me after she filed the claim, and the furthest I got was being assigned an appraiser by FoundersI've contacted the appraiser multiple times over the past week, and so has my body repair shop (whom they accepted as a place to take my car to since there are no founders body shops in my area)They also don't pay for your rental car -- they only do it on a "reimbursement basis", meaning you have to front the money for a rental car and HOPE they pay you back eventuallySince they were slow to even respond to me, and since I have STILL not heard back from PAULA *** (their appraiser assigned to my case) I decided to not take the risk of waiting on Founders, and instead, went through my own insurance ***, who had my rental car ready for me within minutes of calling, and sent an appraiser to check my car out within days of callingI really hope this company goes out of business so that more people don't get scammedPeople who choose this insurance company should really stop wasting their money on *** insurance
