Back in September I purchased some health insurance through Freedom LifePaid my premiumBefore the days were up, I cancelled the policyI was entitled for a refunddays went by before I called backThey had not processed my refund check for some reasonThey told me they would call me backNo callTwo months after cacelling, they charged my a months premiumSo I called them t o ask whey they had charged me and told me it was a mistakeThe very next day they charged me again, $I have months of premiums out thereThey.charged me without my consent

Freedom Life Insurance is the biggest insurance fraud out thereI paid my premiums faithfully for over two years, and rarely needed to file a claim except for an occasional doctor's office visit for a wellness check-up But when I broke my arm and had to have surgery, I found out what a sorry company this is Out of my $25,in medical expenses, Freedom Life $ That's right--$60.00! I am left paying for this for what could be the rest of my life Perish the thought that that anything else happens to me before I get on Medicare in the fall
If you are considering using this company for heath care, RUN away as fast as possible You will be stuck with huge medical bills if you fall for their plan

Business takes money but doesn't want pay claims or refund for services never used total problems from day one with company took months to resolve billing never got it right then deny claims etc

I have been paying for their insurance for months nowThey told me my effective date was November 1, I went in for a *** in February and received an Explanation of Benefits in the mail stating that they won’t cover the pathology billStated that there was a month waiting period for thisWhen I started paying for their insurance, I was told by the man who sold me my policy, *** ***, said I was able to use it from November 1stI would never have used this insurance if I would have known about the waiting periodOr I definitely would have waited the six months before going to find out if I have *** ***But none of the wait time was expressed to meWhen I called the company, the woman stated that I should have called them and there was nothing they could do because I signed a contract

this company is amazing, paid all my claims and I have low monthly premium

When signing up for this health insurance policy, I specifically asked for immunizations to be covered because we have an infantJust got a bill for full amount (over $1000) because the policy doesn't cover immunizations or anything preventativeWhen I called the doctor's office, they were given a completely different reason than us, saying our child was not on policy, with both excuses being falseThe representative on the phone was snarky, condescending, and truly could not have possibly cared less

This company is full of lies and deceit! A salesperson came to my house over the summer, by the way his name is *** ***, and he fed me nothing but LIES! I don't know how he sleeps at night! He acted as though since my husband and I were self employed and did not have any preexisting conditions, then he can get us into a health plan that is the best thing since sliced bread He told me Congress passed a law and set this insurance plan up for self employed people to give them a big break in health insurance Again the only stipulation was no preexisting conditionsThat was a total lie, turns out Congress didn't pass anything for self employed people! He even told me the insurance company was Cigna which was another total lieTurns out when I got my package in the mail it was Freedom Life! He told me there were no copays and that the policy practically pays for it self I was with Aetna at the time and he said this policy was so much better then Aetna Yea right, what a crock of crap! I was paying over a month for my premium for a family of and found out that whenever we went to the doctors, it wasn't covered We only went a couple times, but during those couple of times, they had every excuse on why they wouldn't cover our bills I tried to call Mr***, my lying salesperson, and he would NEVER return my phone calls! I tried to call him for a month, he would never answer his phone or call me back when I left messages! His card said he was a division manager, but barely said anything else! There was no address on him and his phone message didn't even say his name or company name I quickly got out of this plan by stopping payment from my back account I am now with Blue Cross, Blue Shield where my premium is lower for my family of and my coverage is soooo much better! Please...please do not fall into this trap! Learn from me! Stay away from *** *** and most important stay away from Freedom,Life! By the way, when I went to another insurance broker and told him my bad experience with Freedom Life, he right away asked if my sales person was *** ***! I said, "Yes how did you know?" He said he constantly gets calls from people who he also has taken for a ride! Again this is the worse insurance plan ever! Stay away or you WILL BE SORRY!

Underwriter quoted insurance policy with this company to insure all four family members Freedom Life Insurance policy was issued only for two family members When I attempted via numerous phone calls and emails to insurance company and underwriter, I got NO response Finally got a customer rep on phone on January 25, Since policy had a 'grace period' of days to cancel policy, I did so Told on the 25th of January that in days, I would receive in the mail a check for the full policy amount Today March 1st, still have NOT received the refund check from this insurance companyCalled customer servicevery rude woman on phoneI also got very frustrated and rude back She would not speak to me about the cancellation call I made on January 25th due to policy was in my husband's nametold her that I am the one that did the paperwork and signed the paperwork, spoke with underwriter and insurance co in beginning and PLUS the premium came out of my checking account

I had signed up for insurance for my husband with this company as my son and I are covered theough my employer and silly me researched after I had signed him up for it I called to cancel and even did a stop payment at my bank so it cpuldnt come out the sales rep, michelle h***, got downright nasty with me about my decision to not be with them weve owed money to the irs in the past which drove us into a bankruptcy so once I learned id be penalized for not having insurance for husband and having this freedom lofe, I wanted no part of it and she started talking down to me and kept insisting id just mark yes on my tax papers that I did indeed have insurance she got nasty and ugly and ill never consider doing business with scam artists again im glad I didnt cancel his bluecross blueshield

I purchased a Health Insurance plan from Mr*** *** the policy name is American Health SolutionsMr *** insured me that the plan I chose included two yearly routine checkupsThis was also stated in the plan I choseI went to the insurance preferred provider and had my yearly checkup which included lab and blood work testsAfter I completed the exams the billing company sent me several bills from Freedom Life Insurance Company of America stating that I owed money which was supposed to be covered under the two yearly checkupsI called the insurance provider spoke with Mr*** again and he told me to call the billing company and be sure that the bills had been submitted to insurance for paymentI spoke with the billing company and they said that they do not cover two yearly checkups and that I was sold the wrong planThey stated that I needed to pay the bills or it will go to collections in two weeksI called back to Mr*** at ###-###-#### and he will not answer my

We had been paying COBRA insurance premiums for months We began our search in December Based on what the agent told me, we took the policy with this company I was told the deductible was a $family deductible After I received the policy, I read over it and found out that it was in fact a $per person deductible up to max of when I asked about this, I was told adamantly that it was a per family it was too late to keep our Cobra Insurance and we missed the open enrollment/special election period for affordable care act we were also told that as long as disclosed on the application, that coverage for said ailment or condition would be covered NOT TRUE

I was solicited by this company for health insurance I was told by the REPthat I would be able to have doctors visits a year including a yearly OB doctors visit and birth control was also covered with no deductible I make an appointment with my OB yesterday (which we looked up in the system before I purchased the policy and he was listed) and they call me back to let me know that NO PREVENTATIVE care is covered by my policy I am a year mother of with no health issues AT ALLALL I NEED at this point is preventative care I feel like I was totally misled & this is the only thing I can do about it I only make $22,yearly now I am locked into an month insurance policy(about $yearly) that I CAN"T USE because I am not SICK I feel like this is so wrong & I was totally conned by this company

Sounds too good to be true, I wouldn't believe them, unless my 'friend' were their agent, she is clearly not my friend anymoreworth thing ever! big scam, absolute misleading, the agents don't know anything, even their agents themselves don't have this insurance, I'm 30y.o., never've been in hospitals, pretty healthy, got to emergency room because I was reassured, that I'm covered, couple months later got the bill over 7000$, they covered only 250$ for ER, 25$ for lab, 75$ for x-ray - and this was my max., they wouldn't pay for 2nd x-ray in year, my plan was for 500$ for me and my husband, not that cheap for nothing(( would love to sue them for misleading and lie

I purchased Freedom Life Insurance for my entire officedoctors and staff members from Freedom Life’s Licensed Agent *** *** (***) on Dec/Mr*** the Licensed Agent for US Health and Freedom Life came into our office and told us he could get us a PPO insurance plan for better price then the Health Car exchange We asked him, and I even asked him if this "Freedom Life" would quality for comprehensive Medical Insurance under the minimum requirement of federal law ---- HE SAID YES IT WOULD As a Licensed agent we believed him and enrolled our office Freedom Life called schedule to do phone verification Mr*** insisted he be present during each of the phone verification Every time something came up different or off from what he had told us, his response was don't worry about it that not right, just say yes

I asked if ADD was covered before obtaining insurance I was told it was, twice Once my son went to the doctor, the visit was excluded from coverage because they classified it as a mental health issue In the Mental Health Parity Act mandated the employer plans cover mental-health services at the same level as medical and surgical services The ACA extended the parity to individual plans So even though I disagree that ADD is a mental health issue, it should not have been rejected
