I Employ two sonsI provide there insurance thru Freedom Lifelast year one of my son's had a simple out patient back surgeryTotal cost came to around 50,dollarsWe were told by agent at time of sale we had a non limit policy and after deductible they would pay 100%However after he paid deductible plus some more cost we received a bill from hospital stating we still owed approximately 26,We were told to resubmit which we didThey came back with they only paid up to 15,dollars in out patient services and deniedI have had this insurance several years but was hardly used and do not recall this 15,dollars fine print in policyThey also told our hospital he would be covered during pre-registrationNow the bottom line, I have contacted them times wanting a copy of the original policy and the present policy to compare for we have never received any notification of a policy change nor a policy period for a couple years, they just got there premiums from meHave not received copy's to date? Also wanted to speak or be assigned with an agent because Im pretty sure the original agent is long goneThey said one would be contacting me? Hasn't happenedI suppose I will have to involve attorney just to find out if indeed my policy has this 15,stipulation for out patientIf it was we were not informed during purchase of this plan

Sold a bill of good for health care That was suppose to qualify for health care and meet the federal government mandated requirement for health care coverage
I now find out that it doesn't meet the requirement that the insurance rep *** *** said it would

My name is Mike MI purchased a Freedom Life plan where I had a basic plan, kind of like liability insurance for your car with Dr's visits and prescriptionsThis plan was low cost and affordableWhen my wife got sick we were able to move to full coverageWe had to pay more but we did not pay the higher rate until we needed itMy wife was in the hospital for a few days and when it was all said and done, the way the plan is built, we received $a day while in the hospital which ended up paying our $3K deductibleThis essentially left us without owing anything for a $40K billThis plan is not for everyone as you have to be in good health to get it but if you can you shouldMy thought was why pay for coverage that you don't need until you need itClaims were paid on time and I was not left holding the bagI was a bit confused at the boption but my agent guided me through the processI found the company to be easy to work with and did what they said

I don't normally offer up reviews but I have to say this time I had to I am one of those people that fall make to much for a Obamacare subsidy but I can't afford the Obamacare prices I was introduced to this company's policy and the premiums seemed to good to be true The agent explained why and it made sense They do not cover everything out of the gate What they do not cover I did not need so it made sense for me to use I have had claims with them and they paid their bills as they said the would I have not had a major claim but if they pay them like I expect and how they have paid the small claims all will be good

This policy was the biggest scam I've ever fallen forWhen I needed a minor procedure to keep me from choking to death, it turned out the high priced, premium policy with all it's mandatory add-ons didn't cover any type of surgeryThe doctor's office said they'd never seen a more worthless policy

I was contacted by Freedom Life Insurance re: my need for health insurance; I do not know how they got my name, but I did need health insurance I read the reviews by other customers complaining about the service, especially the agents, but I was desperate and my agent seemed really nice He was very anxious to sell his product, which is not ACA-approved but was a great price I agreed since the premium was low and I'm unemployed, having recently moved to Colorado Then he called back to say I didn't qualify for another "short-term medical" plan, even though what he was offering wasn't a "short-term plan" since it's automatically renewable Apparently the Office of the Insurance Commissioner does consider it a short-term plan So, I went through the entire application again, answering the same many questions again for both the agent and an outside caller from US Healthgroup (or Freedom Life...not sure) This was a higher-priced plan but still affordable, which I appreciated, and still not ACA approved Well, days before my current plan expired, I was notified by email by my agent that I was denied based on minor medical issues from the past I was not allowed to talk to "underwriting" and my agent would not answer his phone or call me back I called the company, was told I could email underwriting, which I did They responded "we cannot deal with these issues by email"
I found a reputable local insurance broker who told me that Freedom Life is a "bad company" and that I'm lucky they wouldn't insure mePlease be VERY careful if you choose to deal with them I am very unhappy that I fell for their marketing

I paid $ a month for coverage for me for health insuranceThen my husband passed away and the day after his funeral I was rushed to the hospital in the ambulance and in ICU for hoursThis wonderful insurance we paid for apparently only pays $to the hospital and we have to pay the rest, they did not even try to lower my hospital bill in anyway like insurance companies would do for their customersSo now I am stuck with a $15,500.00+ bill that I can not pay on social security and the hospital refuses to lower my bill at allI also had to pay two doctor bills, $and $and xray bill of $and Freedom only covered $of the ambulance which my policy shows they are to pay $of it, but I am stuck paying the remainder of $of it alsoI want all people who check up on this insurance to be able to see they only pay the deductible and you have to pay the remainder it looks like, but they don't tell you thisI also had to pay most of my yearly doctor visits and all but $of my bloodwork, so I had to pay $towards the bloodwork and usually around $of the Dr visitThis company is a total rip offIf my husband were alive today I think we would be doing more than filing a review about this company but I don't want anyone else to get ripped off the way I was and I am paying for it dearly now, Next step for me is to file a complaint with the Revdex.com about St.Joseph Hospital for refusing to help me in lowering my bill at allPEOPLEDONT BUY THIS INSURANCEYOU WILL REGRET IT

I became a customer of US Health Group in My agent was very helpful and was able to design a plan that I could afford for my family I was self employed and had some major changes and was forced to make a career change I studied hard and passed my license exam After training and learning how all the association benefits work together with Freedom Life it all makes sense Small business owners and individuals that are responsible for paying for their own health benefits have GREAT options US Health Group and Freedom Life work so very well together and I'm extremely happy to be part of the FAMILY

We purchased Freedom Life Insurance (Health Coverage) a little more than years ago and bought an extra dental policy for my daughter Emily
Within the last month we wanted to use it for the very first time and when we called they said we were covered with Carrington DentalWe called them and they have no record of us at all? We have gone back and forth many frustrating times with no successSo I paid $a month for a policy that does not existCan I request I get my money back? If so how do I go about it? If not, how can I slam this companies Revdex.com rating? This has been a rip-offCan I get a refund from this company for $since I really never bought any product services?

I purchased this insurance for mein 12/a freedom life agent call me selling me a PPO policy, he told me he could get me a PPO insurance plan for a better price than the Obama Care exchange or the Affordable Care ActI asked him if this "Freedom Life" would qualify  for comprehensive Medical Insurance under the minimum requirement of federal law he said yesI then proceed and enrolled with freedom life.

Agent flat out lied to me

My wife and I were telephone solicited health insuranceWe filled out applications via telephone and did telephone interviews with the agent and the underwriting departmentThey issued a policy on my wife only, not what we applied for, and drafted $from my checking accountThey denied my insurance, so I called the agentI only got voicemail, so I texted the agent to cancelI received no response and the first day of September, they drafted another $from my accountI finally talked to the agent, he referred me to another number and I was told they would flat rate cancel the policy and refund all monies withing business days( rather excessive time)As of September 28th, 2016, I have received no refund

This company was sending notices to the wrong address on file So my Health Insurance was cancelled When I finally found out, they refused to reinstate it and did not give me any reason nor did they notify me I have been without health insurance for approximately months without knowing it Horrendous!
