Frontier Communications Thank you for referring the complaint of Mrs*** to our office for reviewWe appreciate Mrs*** bringing this matter to our attention The Complaint states that: Mrs*** states that Frontier is reporting on her credit report
three years after the issues were resolvedFrontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontier records demonstrate that Mrs*** had a prior Revdex.com complaint received by Frontier on April 22, and closed on May 10, The complaint was in response to unreturned equipment and a collection letterFrontier records show that the account was disconnected on November 19, 2015. An order was placed in January because the modem and a receiver were not returned by that date. The amount of $was added to the closing balance of $220.23. On April 22, the $was credited to the account and the information sent to Equifax was corrected to reflect the balance of $outstanding.Frontier has sent correspondence to *** *** explaining that the information reporting on her credit is correct if the status reads, “Paid Charge Off”. The $was a valid past due balance at the time of the report and it remained unpaid until May 19, 2017. Frontier did offer to make any necessary corrections, if the credit report is not showing as a paid charge off, but Frontier cannot remove accurate information. Frontier advises technician went to Ms***’s house on November 25, to resolve the service issues Ms*** has been experiencing.Frontier states Ms*** was contacted on November 29, and confirmed that all services are working but is still having a slight issue with her

We appreciate Mr*** bringing this matter to our attention The Rebuttal states that: Mr*** advises that Frontier sent technicians to his residence on April 10, to troubleshoot problems relating to slow internet speeds, and the technicians were able to repair the Tline that had not been operating. Mr*** advises that his internet speed has not improved after the technicians came out and fixed his lineMr*** advises that multiple Frontier agents have told him that the equipment in his area is antiquated and not scheduled to be upgraded in the near futureFrontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontier advises that after further analysis was done by their construction and engineering departments, it was determined that it would be possible to make upgrades to the network that would allow for faster speeds, and Frontier proceeded to send a team out to perform the network upgradeFrontier advises that Mr*** agreed to upgrade to a new internet and phone bundle package at a promotional rate of $per month for year and $per month starting with the 13th month.Frontier spoke with Mr*** on April 27, and scheduled a technician visit for May 1, 2018. He was advised of the technician visit fee of $75.00, to be split into installments.
