were found with Ms*** accountThis caused her to be billed in error for phone service after the service was disconnected on 5/19/Frontier cancelled the account on 9/14/and issued a manual credit for the billing chargesA closing statement generated on 10/13/which applied the credit for disconnect but billed a FDV Disc Mo Fee which totaled $Frontier apologizes for the inconvenience this issue has causedFrontier has applied full credit in the amount of $which has cleared the balance to ZeroFrontier has also requested deletion of the account from the credit reportAgain, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and trust this information will assist you in closing this complaint

The Complaint states that:Mr*** advises that he canceled his Frontier services and paid the final balance; however, he received another statement that billed him multiple installation fees that did not take place Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response:Frontier advises that there was a system error that billed Mr*** installation charges in error when orders were placed to try to upgrade his Internet service.Frontier advises that total adjustments in the amount of $have been applied to Mr***’s account for these installation fees.Frontier confirms that the account is closed and there is no balance dueFrontier advises that a request has been sent to pull this from Mr***’s credit report.Frontier spoke with Mr*** on October 20, to review this information with him. Ms*** has had to fight with Frontier because they never turned off her service from October of last year when it was requested, then they put it on her credit report when this was no fault of Ms*** own Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontier has checked with the collections department internally and they are showing in their records that the account has not been written off, therefore it has not gone to any credit bureaus that would affect Ms*** credit score. The Frontier collections department has also said if Ms*** is seeing this somewhere she would need to provide the proof to Frontier so they could get it corrected for Ms***.Frontier has given this information to Ms*** on February 15, and she is not satisfied. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.After spending days on the phone and messaging Frontier and being told different things by different reps I was told if I didn't make a payment my service would not be restored, which was incorrectI had until December I explained to the rep I had not planned or budgeted to make that payment until December and she said although she understood the request to turn my service on with a payment promise was deniedI made the payment out of desperation since my children require internet to submit their homework on the assurance it would be on within several hoursNot only was that a lie because their letter said it take 48-hours after a disconnect but they fraudentlh and deceitfully made me make the payment that wasn't actually required to be madeThey turned my service off in errorI have a $nsf fee because my daycare check was returned because I was $short in my bank account after their paymentI want that amount credited towards my billShould be more for the time this ridiculous company has stolen from me and all of the unduly stress this has put on me and my family around the holidays.

While I understand Frontier has credited my account the $late fee that was not lateI would appreciate Frontier calling me directly and explaining why their customer service representative "Janine" refused my request to speak with a supervisor and what gives her the right to speak to customers who have been long-term customers and diligent with their service, payments, etcso poorly? Inexcusable

month of NovemberMr*** states that Frontier advised the amount he owes is $and he does not agree with this balance. Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Frontier investigated Mr***’s Frontier account and found that Mr***’s account was cancelled on September 20, Mr***’s October 16, statement shows prorated credits back to September 21, Frontier advises that Mr*** had a deferred payment arrangement open with Frontier and when Mr*** cancelled his Frontier account the remaining amount of his deferred payment arrangement totaling $was added to his final billing statement.Mr***’s television service was suspended on July 5, in the Frontier system and his Internet service was suspended on August 11, Frontier found that Mr***’s final Frontier billing statement did not reflect the proper prorated adjustments for these servicesFrontier applied an adjustment of $on November 15, to correct the charges that were billed to Mr*** after July for the television service and August 11, for the Internet serviceMr***’s remaining balance is $on his Frontier accountFrontier spoke with Mr*** on November 15, and advised the above informationMr*** is satisfiedWe trust that this information will assist you in closing this complaint.
